Finally tried this spot! It's been on my list for a while. I ordered the "Special Breakfast Sandwich" $11.50 and an ice americano $3.50 I asked to make my sandwich with just ONE egg instead of two because the sandwich is HUGE. Overall, it tasted really good. The biscuit was fresh, the lemon aioli was tasty, and the bacon was smoky. I didn't give the sandwich 5 stars simply because it was too messy for me and a bit hard to eat (even with 1 egg) read more

Devil's Teeth on a Saturday morning calls for "The Special" breakfast sandwich. It's a hefty handful of biscuit, egg, cheese, avo, bacon and aioli. After finishing this you will get a food coma and go back to sleep happy. Always a line but service moves fast. It can get pretty crowded so grab your sandwich and coffee, then go and enjoy it at the beach. read more

Have been coming here for years and years. One of my go-tos when I deserve a little treat. There's just something about coming by on a sunny morning, with the light coastal breeze and munching down on the sandwich within the quiet neighborhood. Great way to start the day that precedes a long busy work week. 90% of time I do only get the special breakfast sandwich and it has remained consistently delicious throughout the times. Thick scrambled eggs, slab of avocado, pepper jack cheese, lemon-garlic aioli in between warm biscuits. Highly suggest to eat it there as soon as they pass it to you. read more

Most AMAZING breakfast sandwich you will ever have!! I got the special one for the lemon aioli and it was to diee forrrr. Tangy (aioli), creamy (avocado), flaky (biscuit), and a little salty (bacon). Please also ask for the hot sauce. It was more hard than saucy so a little hard to get on the sandwich but really elevated it!! Tuna melt was also solid but nothing mind blowing. We were in the area so decided to stop and give this place a try after seeing the rave about their breakfast sandwiches on Yelp!. Scored parking right as I got there right next to their parklet. There was a line out the door that went to the end of their building, but it moved pretty fast. Ordered the Earl Grey Pistachio bread, Donut Muffin, Special Breakfast sandwich, and Cinnamon Roll Croissant. The donut muffin was good. Moist, but not note worthy for me. Cinnamon roll croissant was a bit too sweet for my liking. Earl grey pistachio bread I would say is delish. You can totally taste the earl grey tea, which was a unique flavor in bread for me. I'm not a huge fan of biscuits but the sandwich was delish! We didn't get to eat it right then and there or while it was warm, so I may have to go back and get another lol. Inside is small, no inside dining, but the staff were very pleasant. read more

Honestly so good! I got an iced dirty chai & the specialty sandwich with my friends for takeout to the park. The location was super convenient & it was right next to a pop up market! The sandwich was so classic & the biscuit outside happily surprised me. The aioli tied in the egg, bacon & avocado together very nicely. My friend said this will 100% be a regular breakfast spot to hit up from now on. The cookies & the ube cake also looked amazing, so that could definitely be a fun pickup if you opt for more of a sweet treat. read more

God, I LOVED the special sandwich. It was so good, super messy but absolutely delicious. We stopped by before heading for a hike and we all loved the special sandwich. I already want another one! We also got a few beignets and they were amazing. The service here was pretty slow but it was busy so I get that. Ambiance was cute, everything in the bakery case looked so delicious it was hard to decide what to get! You can't go and not get the special though. read more

The Earl Grey And Pistachio bread was so delicious! I would come back for it and to try the other pastries. My friend got the breakfast sandwich and felt that it was good but a bit bland + possibly an old avocado was put in hers. The place is grab and go, but there's some outdoor seating that's casual to eat at! The line does get a bit long, but it's not too bad and the process is efficient. Would recommend kind of knowing what you want to get, but the staff is kind and patient. read more

Oh my god. Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had hands down. A little bakery nestled in Outer Sunset that is worth going and worth waiting out the line for. The set up is pretty intuitive, you order inside and when it's ready they'll bring your items out onto the table outside for orders. The line moved relatively quickly -- I got there probably around 8AM and ordered/got my food within 30mins. I opted to get the special breakfast sandwich that comes with biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, pepper jack cheese, avo, and lemon-garlic aioli. I'm from Texas and I will first say that I haven't had a biscuit as good as Texas anywhere else before. Wow, just beyond buttery and not dry at all. I would eat that biscuit by itself for sure. The aioli adds so much flavor and makes the sandwich not dry whatsoever. I scarfed this all down immediately once I got it. I also grabbed a cinnamon roll and it was pretty good. Tons of cinnamon and huge, so definitely share with someone (or not!). Personally I prefer cinnamon rolls with vanilla/cream cheese frosting, but this one was still quite tasty. This is a San Francisco breakfast must have! Just get the special and wait for it! Bursting with flavor on a delicious biscuit and a yummy hot beverage you can't go wrong! I basically have 0 complaints. I ordered my special breakfast sandwich ahead (wished they offered to purchase a drink online) and it was ready when i got there. I got the chance to wait in line because I wanted a drink before I headed out to Mori point and was greeted nicely, ordered a pastry (sweetcheese bread) and was in n out super quickly. I could sense that I got there before any type of rush, at around 7:20am, so I felt lucky. The store gives surf vibes, you're near the beach, and everyone knows this meal is gonna be good. The special breakfast sandwich HIT. Eggs cooked to perfection, great biscuits, 2 slices of bacon (might request a few more next time) guac and special lemon aioli. I ordered a side of sauce because a lot of people were raving about it so I needed to make sure I got a thorough taste. The biscuits are biscuits, a little dry, so I was happy I had some more sauce to go with the meal. Later on I tried my pastry and it was good. It reminded me of a Salvadoreño (i think) pastry that my mom used to buy, called a quesadilla, except a little different. The sesame on top was really good, almost became the star of the pastry. there was a long line out the door at around noon on Sunday. you order inside and wait outside, and there's some outdoor seating. they already ran out of cinnamon rolls by the time I got there, but they still had $1 beignets which are only available Sunday. the beignets were made to order so they were piping hot. best eaten fresh, they're light and fluffy and big for the price. we also got the famous regular breakfast sandwich, but it was kind of disappointing to me -- really dry and heavy, it definitely has to be shared. the biscuit is different from the typical Southern ones, but I felt it was too oily and over-fried for my liking. overall still worth trying! I just don't think it's my personal preference read more

Tik tok brought me here lmao. I got the special breakfast sandwich, but switched out the bacon with sausage. I actually wish I kept the bacon however, cuz I heard it was a lot better with bacon. The sandwich was giving me almost a creamy chipotle (?) type taste which I wasn't really expecting. The cheese and the way they stuffed the sandwich was great, but my sandwich was hella crooked and uneven, so I didn't have many bites with everything in it at once. The chai tea latte was good, not too sweet and had a lot the spices at the bottom that I almost ate but I didn't mind it that much LOL. It wasn't sweet if you're looking for that. Wandered through the Sunset to the SF establishment Devil's Teeth on a lovely Saturday morning. We had to wait about 20 minutes from getting in line to receiving our food -- honestly shorter than expected. I got the classic breakfast sandwich and my partner got a grilled cheese and soup combo. My sandwich was yummy and was not too heavy despite being on a huge biscuit. I also liked how it maintained structural integrity. I'd have liked for it to have more acidity or spice to balance out the creaminess and saltiness of the sandwich. The grilled cheese was standard, simple but solid, but the soup was really what stole the show. It was probably the best tomato soup we've had at any restaurant! The staff was also kind enough to warm the soup up nice and hot. The only thing I'll say is that I didn't find the place inside super clean (not that there's indoor seating). I saw some flies and bugs and definitely noticed grime in the corners. If that freaks you out but you want to go, I'd look away! read more

On my first visit, I thought it was an overhyped yipster bakery. Pass forward 9 years, I was in the area and wanted to give them another shot. I'm SOOOO glad I did. Google "Best Breakfast Sandwich in SF" and every list will have Devil's Teeth on the top of the list and for good reason. And, this is coming from a person who doesn't care for breakfast food. Devil's Teeth is open for takeout and delivery (limited delivery range). There's a parklet outside to enjoy your food warm. Had to stop by this famous breakfast sandwich spot, it was very delicious and reasonably priced, very small cafe. There are benches out front that allow you to relax and grab a bite before returning to the beach. The coffee could be better, I didn't really like it. The biscuit the sandwich is on is a little too flaky and it breaks apart very easily. The bacon and eggs and cheese on the sandwich was delicious, the biscuit was just a little dry and flaky. read more

Definitely a SF staple. Come by for that fresh bakery atmosphere and enjoy your order either by the beach or outdoor parklet. Of course we had to try the iconic breakfast biscuit which I ordered vegetarian and had the bacon replaced with tomato and onion. The biscuit was of course flakey and delicious but I was left wanting a salty factor in the filling. Maybe because I swapped the bacon the filling was lacking in saltiness. I think with a drizzle of hot sauce this breakfast biscuit would have been divine! Also you cannot beat the price of $9 for a breakfast sandwich in sf. A must try is the carrot cake. It's fluffy and bouncy making for a great cake base and the frosting is dense and a little tart providing a slight bite which is much welcomed. Not too sweet and having the perfect texture. We also sampled the peanut butter cookie which was chewy and soft, loaded with choco chips. Although more on the sweet side it was still a joy to eat. As well as the strawberry banana muffin which reminded me of a mochi muffin, yummm. The strawberries were fresh and provided that sweet and refreshing bite! If you wanna grab a quick bite to eat before you head to Ocean Beach I highly recommend coming here. Their locations have been quite the recognition but everytime I come to this location it's never busy. The workers are so friendly and helpful with any questions you have about the menu. And speaking of the menu you have to try their special breakfast sandwich. Each ingredient is so good on its own but have them all combined into a sandwich, it's to die for! read more

I am obsessed! Orgasm in my mouth. I loved this place ever since it was introduced to me. We try to come here whenever we're in town. So glad we were able to come this time! Portion is great! Been a long time since we returned fir breakfast sandwiches. Hubby and kiddo got the regular biscuit bun with egg, bacon and cheese. I got the special with additional jalapeño flavored sauce and it had just enough flavor of the jalapeño without the heat. You order head outside to wait. I didn't care for the biscuit as it was dry. The filling with scrambled egg, bacon inside, was really good. The biscuits were firm but not fluffy. I remember they were more fluffy and buttery. These didn't taste as good. read more

Paid for 3 pastries and a breakfast sandwich $40+ plus a tip. After I left, I discovered they forgot to put the breakfast sandwich in my bag. I had even confirmed with the cashier standing right next to the bag, that it was my bag ready to pick up and he said "yeah". Later, I placed a call to the bakery informing them of the error and requested replacement; however, have not received any follow-up. So basically, I spent $42 plus tip on 3 pastries. I was excited to try this spot after seeing it on social media. We went by after the breakfast rush on a weekday and thought there would be a wait so my friend and I ordered separately via the Yelp app (which is through Chownow). We ordered the exact same item and I was quoted $3 more than hers which I only noticed after seeing our separate order receipts when we were picking up the item. One of the employees was kind enough to refund the difference but didn't offer an explanation. We both ordered the special breakfast sandwich which came with 2 scrambled eggs, bacon (subbed with sausage), pepperjack cheese, avocado, and lemon garlic aioli. The biscuit was dry and it didn't seem like the sauce was properly spread out on the sandwich. It seemed to be made quite sloppily and they didn't seem too busy. Not sure if they were having an off day but the consensus was that we would probably not return. Seating: There are some benches outside to sit at. No seating inside. I love devils teeth!!!! This place has literally the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my whole life. The biscuits as bread are incredibly delicious, and the lemon aioli is insane, so you have to add it if you get the regular breakfast sandwich. I also prefer to add tomato instead of avocado to add a bit of freshness - I think the avocado can make this already heavy sandwich a bit too much to handle. They don't skimp out on the eggs either, and as someone who doesn't love bacon, it is perfect in this sandwich. I'll warn you though, it is a messy sandwich so be sure you have a ton of napkins on hand. They don't have much seating, just a couple of bar stools, facing the wall near the bathroom, so I recommend taking it to Golden Gate Park or the Presidio on a nice day. read more

A hack I usually do is order the regular breakfast sandwhich and add lemon garlic aioli to have something similar to the special breakfast sandwhich since I don't like avocados. read more

Me and a friend went here on a Friday (in April - the menus change monthly). Once the bakery opened at 9 AM the line moved fairly fast, but by opening time the line was down two blocks and wrapped around out of sight. We'd heard about B&C lines but even this on a weekday morning was surprising. Overall the pastries were very good, I will say that the savory pastries rank higher here than anywhere else I've been, but the sweet pastries don't. We got the Strawberry Rhubarb Cruffin, Lemon Bluberry Bun, Potato Artichoke Croquiche, Bacon Egg & Cheese, and Sam's Blood Orange Olive Oil Cake. The Croquiche was my favorite of all of them, and it was great warm, with a nice creamy filling. From the sweet pastries, my favorite was the Strawberry Rhubarb Cruffin - the rhubarb taste wasn't very strong but it was overall flaky, not too dry (even when eating it later in the day), and the cinnamon coating also didn't clash with the strawberry, vanilla, and orange. Least favorite was the olive oil cake; it was slightly bitter and the olive oil taste was dominating. These pastries are very large. Split between 2 people 3 of them were enough for us to be so full we saved the rest for later. I also got the Brown Butter Butterscotch Latte (iced), I'm not usually a fan of coffee but it was really good (it's very sweet so as a non-coffee drinker that worked out for me - the syrups overpower the coffee taste). The inside is cute with a pastel pink theme, we were able to snag the two seats by the window. I also liked the merch for sale and got a small print of the storefront. Definitely worth going too once, but due to the line I probably won't return until a monthly menu comes out that has a lot of things I desperately want to try. It's a top 3 bakery in SF for sure.

Pineapple King is a place I absolutely have a love-hate relationship about. I like how innovation the buns are, but the ordering process - regardless of whether I waited in line or I ordered in advance - has been very disappointing. I placed online orders in May 2021, April 2022, October 2022, June 2023, January 2025, and then today. (Thanks to my email which reminded me of the dates) Every single time I had to wait extra time for my previously placed online order to be ready. After several times of waiting for an extra 10 minutes, I decided to give them extra time to prepare the buns. It simply did NOT work. They always, and I mean always, asked me to wait for 5 more minutes. 5 minutes passed, and the order was still not ready. The average wait time has been 10 minutes in addition to the announced pick-up time. You might want to say, oh, I would like you to receive your buns warm and fresh. Thanks. But if a customer is late, they don't deserve warm and fresh buns. On the contrary, for us who are on time, why do we have to wait for extra time? Please consider adjusting the estimated pick-up time if you are super busy. I understand your store gets busy, and congratulations about that. Please ask your staff to give us a more accurate "extra wait time" because we customers are busy too. Our time is no less valuable than yours. Besides, I understand that you need to check our photo ID during pick-up. Please be consistent with your policy. While I was waiting by the pick-up window, I noticed there were customers who were not asked for their IDs, and they actually picked up their order after a 2-minute wait. Questions can be raised if you only enforce your policy either randomly or only towards several customers. After a few disappointing visits, our family are sad to say that this will be the very last time being your customers. How you run your business just don't align with our values. Our cousins were familiar with both bakeries and graciously volunteered to be our foodie guides as we drove to these two bakeries Saturday morning. After visiting Tartine and B Patisserie, Arizmendi was our final bakery and our last stop on our Bay Area foodie tour. Just like the other two bakeries, Arizmendi was a popular destination, it was different than the other two in the selection of the pastries, and I highly recommend their corn cranberry scone and their cheese focaccia. Arizmendi is also located in the Mission District specifically on Valenica and 24th Street. The bakery is in between a Royal gas station and the KitTea Cat Lounge. Parking consists of street parking and just like the other bakeries, parking could be challenging, but Arizmendi is worth the trouble parking and walking to this confectionary paradise. This bakery is a business where their baked goods are enjoyed at home since there is minimal seating. What's unique about this bakery compared to the other two is how the baked goodies are selected. It is self serve where it's a little hectic trying to maneuver around other customers to pick the pastries and breads you desire. The young black lady behind the register who checked us out was courteous, friendly, and took care of us quickly. As you enter Arizmendi, there are four wooden display cases with plexiglass holding scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pies, croissants, focaccia, cookies, and shortbreads. As you peer through the plexiglass to decide what to select, make sure to grab the provided wax to pick up your baked goods and place them in the provided bags. One of our friends asked us to grab scones, so scones were one of the items we knew we were going to purchase. My wife selected other items, but I asked her for a focaccia because my cousin said that Arizmendi was know for their pizza breads. I highly recommend you purchase their corn cranberry scones. These scones are hearty, the cranberry is plentiful, and I really enjoyed these while I was drinking a coffee at home. The focaccia I picked was a cheese focaccia made with poblanos, kale, and queso fresco. That square pizza bread was a savory revelation where I devoured that as snack after heating it in our home toaster oven. It was cheesy, the poblanos and kale were tasty, and I completely agreed with my cousin's assessment about their pizza bread. We're so grateful to our cousins for taking valuable time to serve as our foodie tour guides during our trip to San Francisco. Bay Area denizens are blessed to have three bakeries where they can satisfy their pastry, dessert, and bread cravings. We're fans of Arizmendi's scones and pizza bread.

Anyone who grew up with me knows my absolute hankering for sweets. But, since growing a bit older (hopefully wiser) and a bit more health conscious, I've suppressed a lot of my sugary habits... Until now. Oh Lord, forgive me for I have sinned. Even the thought of consuming sweets sends me into a guilt trip. That being said, I have heard so many great things about Devil's Teeth Baking Company and decided to make the trek from SOMA to the outer Sunset District just for this place. And with a name like Devil's Teeth, who wouldn't be slightly seduced? And like the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden, I knew I shouldn't have been anywhere near it. Oh well! Sometimes you just gotta YOLO it! *throws scruples to the wind* Upon arrival, as I opened my car door, I could immediately smell the aroma of delicious baked goods permeating through the air. It was like a delicate lullaby to my nose tempting me to come closer. God please help me to resist temptation as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. As I walked into the store, my heart skipped a beat. There they were. Cookies, croissants, cinnamon rolls, danishes and a plethora of other delightful delicacies sat behind the glass display ready to be devoured. I really really really really DO try hard to make healthy choices, but today was NOT going to be that day. The first thing my eyes settled on was a large peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The angel on my shoulder said not to, but the devil on my shoulder said come on, just try a little. The chocolate chips were so large and numerous throughout the cookie that I was convinced that maybe a small bite wouldn't hurt. Next my eyes shifted to the crumb cake. I grew up eating cheap ol' Little Debbie's and thought that even then, it was the greatest thing in the world. Since those Little Debbie days, I've learned a thing or two about quality and let's just say that this coffee crumb cake had it goin' on in all aspects! Soft, delicately sweet, with a bit of a tart flavor from the rhubarb. Sweet Lordy Jesus. By now I had no conscious at all. Just give me the goodz! I also purchased the cinnamon roll. Words cannot describe what I tasted and felt, but let me go ahead and try. Soft Gooey Sweet Cinnamony Crunchy. You name it. This forbidden "fruit" was better than I had ever imagined. I needed something to wash this all down before leaving, so I decided to go with one of their house made mango juices from the fridge. A perfect way to end such a sugary trip. Prices are a tad high, but for the quality and flavor you get, it is well worth the extra pennies. They have outdoor seating that is great for relaxing with your coffee or pastries, or to even just chatting with your friends. This place is kid friendly and has colorful chalk for children to draw on the city walkways with. They also serve savory dishes, sandwiches and sourdough bread. So, if you aren't in the mood for something sweet, there are plenty of other options to choose from at this bakery. The only excuse I have for going on such a sugar crazed frenzy is "The devil made me do it." Yeah, that's it. I want to start off by giving a heads up to the owners, who decided to open such a fantastic bakery on this street. It is exactly what the neighbor hood needed. The owners are wonderful, always very interested in who you are, and what your about- It makes one feel good to be asked questions- because it shows they truly want to get to know their customers. I have a lot to say about this place.. so hold on to your seats. The staff: About 95% of the staff are sweet, and overly attentive. But lately the same two young girls, have given me less than standard service.. For example, when I came in by myself to get a few things- the young Asian girl with glasses and black hair and another girl with brown hair and blue eyes- ignore me- especially if there is other young men in the bakery. Normally I wouldn't consider this a problem, but it has happened now more than a few times.. It doesn't make any sense to me, because EVERYONE ELSE is SOOO overly nice and polite!??!? BUT I still come here because I love the food and the location.. right by the beach. OK now for the food: In the latest issue of 7x7 magazine that frequents my office... there was an article about the "top 10 places to eat in the outer sunset". What made me SO happy, is that Devil's Teeth scored 2nd place out of 10 for their breakfast sandwich!!! The breakfast sandwich I have had it REALLY good- and then other time disappointing.. but hold on let me emphasize that when its GOOD- its REALLY GOOD. It's a home made fresh biscuit, cheddar cheese, bacon, and what they call their "two egg-er"- which is an enormously sized scrambled egg.. When it's "good" it's due to the perfection of the ratio portion of the bacon, egg, and cheese.. I read in the article that there is to be 3 strips of bacon when in fact... it is ONE piece of bacon folded over. Last time I brought one home for my wife, she opened it up and saw little else but a daunting 4 inch egg-er in the sandwich.. I hate to say this but she just threw the egg to our two labs.. they seemed to like it. it was way too much and over powered the rest of it. But either way I cant deny it is one of my favorite things on their menu. -Pie: The strawberry pie is by far my favorite. Lately they have been doing a strawberry and blueberry blend- which is alright, but my favorite is the plain strawberry! The banana creme pie is second to none and I dream of it often :) -Muffins: My favorite muffin- by far is the black berry muffin.. the blackberry banana is also great as well as the blueberry banana. I can woof down these heavenly muffins in a sitting- that's how good they are. I also highly enjoy the donut muffin, but the fruit muffins are by far the BEST, possibly that Ive ever had in my LIFE! - As far as the rest: The Cheese cake- is AMAZING. I love this little topping they put over it.. its almost like an extra creamy topping.. since cheesecake can b somewhat dry. I love the lemon cheesecake as well. Definitely have to agree with everyone that Devil's Teeth Baking Company is very FRESH! I came in ready to start my morning off with one of their breakfast sammies and the banana blueberry muffins. I have a huge soft spot for breakfast sandwiches. When I saw that Devil's Teeth serves breakfast sammies, I was super excited to try one! I really appreciate that the sammies are made fresh - right after I placed my order I saw them crack the eggs into the skillet. The portions are also huge, but then again the breakfast sandwich was $5. So how did the food taste? Well...I was slightly underwhelmed by the breakfast sandwich. The biscuit was soft and flaky, but the sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. They should add some hot sauce or ketchup on the side. Also, I really wish they put sausage in the sandwich. There are 2 strips of bacon, cheese, and lots of fluffy scrambled eggs but where's the sausage?? The banana blueberry muffin comes topped with whole blueberries baked into a banana bread muffin. The texture of the muffin was a little too doughy and tasted a bit bland. Just an extra hint of banana flavor and these muffins would be perfect! The staff are nice and welcoming and the fresh baked goodies taste homemade and comforting. I'll probably be back to try their Beignet Sundays and a Blue Bottle coffee! read more

Only got their ginger cookie because I went a little late in the afternoon and most pastries were gone. I wasn't hungry at that time so I decided on the cookie so I can save it for later. The ginger cookie was delicious!! I wasn't even hungry, but decided to try it anyways and it was yummy! It is about the size of your whole hand (pretty big cookie) for $2.50. There are actual soft ginger candy chunks in it that are sweet/very ginger-y and the cookie itself is a good blend of saltiness and sweetness. Very chewy cookie and did not turn hard or dry out after a day. The staff were very friendly and you can help yourself with some water if you'd like (located at where the sugar/creamer are). There are limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. They serve not just pastries/brownies/cookies/cakes but also breakfast/lunch sandwiches, lunch dishes..etc. Also have beignet Sundays for $1 a piece...too bad I went on a Saturday. Would like to try their beignets next time if I get the chance! read more
