Located in the Mission District of SF is an amazing cafe that serves yummy breakfast until early afternoons of most days. We had a Bad and Boujee breakfast burrito, Breakfast Little sandwiches with bacon and Churro Tots. Everything was amazing, but a pro tip is to share your tots! The Churro tots are sweet and plentiful and enough to share with someone else or two.
Our friends recommended getting breakfast burritos from here so we went with it. They ordered ahead online for pickup so that we could just pick up at the counter once we arrived. I ordered the OG with Sausage ($9.99). We've also gotten the Tia Maria ($11.49) and the El Sancho ($11.99). Once we arrived it still took about 5-7 minutes for us to be able to get our order. It was really crowded inside, and there was a line to the counter. I wish we had known to ask for some salsa with our orders because the burritos were definitely missing that little bit of kick, It would have also helped in balancing out the grease from the tater tots. By the time we got home the burritos were still nice and warm and the cheese was still gooey and stretchy. The burritos were all tightly packed and they don't skimp on any of the fillings. Everything that we ordered was great, but like I said it would've been even better with some salsas, which I wish we would've known about as first timers.
My companion loves breakfast burritos and wanted to go to Breakfast Little since we were in the area. I finally see what the hype is about! This is a must-try if you're into breakfast burritos. We arrived on a weekend afternoon. Surprisingly, the line was super short. More folks were standing outside waiting for their order to be called. Ordering is easy: order at the counter, wait for your number to be called, then grab your food. There's a steady flow of customers plus delivery drivers. There are two tables outside that we sat at, plus one inside. Our pup hung out with us. Service was pretty quick, and most items are self-serve, like napkins. I got the OG Burrito with Sausage, and we agreed the OG was better. I loved how savory and flavorful it was, and how the crunch added a nice texture. The burrito was a good size; I couldn't finish mine, but my companion finished his. The Bad and Boujee was just okay in our opinion, definitely on the sweeter versus savory end. He wouldn't get it again, but we'd get the OG anytime. Breakfast Little is a popular spot amongst locals and tourists. Find them off 22nd Street with street parking around. Definitely worth a visit if you like tasty, affordable breakfast burritos!
I absolutely love breakfast little! I've tried the chorizo breakfast burrito and the plantain one and I LOVE the plantains. They also have a lot of drink options. I love that they have electrolit because I usually find myself here hungover from the night before. It's amazing being able to get a comforting, delicious burrito with an electrolit and coming out stronger! Service is quick and to the point! Don't forget to ask for salsa's because they are amazing and they do NOT put them in your bag, you have to ask!!! Note to business, please ask during order so we don't forget when picking it up!!Ambiance is simple with a good portion of seating. Will be back!!!
This place is just what you need when you're hung over and need a nice greasy burrito. The line moved quickly but they were banging out burritos in the back so the wait took a little longer than expected. We sat outside for the people watching and it smelled like the mission. The burrito was hearty with crispy hash browns and fluffy eggs. Big plus that you can order them in UEats.
Very solid breakfast burritos! We ended up ordering the Bad & Boujee because the fig jam sounded like such a unique addition, and it definitely did not disappoint. The sweet and savory combination worked really well together. I stopped by for a late lunch on a weekday, so there was little to no line and our food came out quickly. I also forgot to ask for the burrito to be cut in half when ordering, but when I went back up and asked, they happily took it back and cut it for me with no questions asked, which I really appreciated. The burrito itself was a bit smaller than I expected, but it was filling enough for a light lunch and easy to split between two people. Overall, a tasty and convenient spot that I'd happily return to.
From La to the Bay Woke up today drove in to SF from Emeryville after a long drive from Los Angeles 323. Found this little hole on the wall and let me tell you there breakfast OG burrito was 10/10 that s^{^{% was straight GAS!!!! I'm a big Late fan and I ordered the viejito Iced and for me it was 5/10 just because I'm a big Maxapan or Biscoff butter late type of person lol. But still this place was lit service was cool.
Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the restaurant or the burrito but I have pics of his post burrito consumption! They had a Dias de los muertos of Selena while I was waiting in line but I was too shy to take a photo. (Big Selena fan) BUT the day before my partner and I went to go see my dad (daily routine) at UCSF (he's hospitalized there for the indefinite future until he receives a lung transplant when it's his time on the list). The day before we told him we were coming back the next day in the morning and asked what he wanted. He said he was craving a breakfast burrito. But the day we wanted to return was the day of BAY TO BREAKERS. And we all know how tough that day is with driving. This after a long night we ubered that morning to the 24th and mission Bart, walked to breakfast little to order, got our break fast burritos and then ubered to UCSF to see my dad and day him his burrito. We were met with all smiles and excitement from my dad upon entering. He LOVED his breakfast burrito. (My dad doesn't consume pork and they were SO kind to offer alternatives like bell peppers and I the veggies to sub) and it means that world to me. He said it was the best breakfast burrito he ever had. Thank you for providing an environment full of love, acceptance, and kindness! UPDATE: they found him a match TODAY 5/23/26 and he's scheduled to receive 2 new lungs at UCSF at 3:30.
I seen this place come across my social media. Decided to ride the motorcycle out and am I glad I did. Long line with packed seating. Took about 20 min to get my food. I ordered the breakfast tots with bacon. It was so good, I also ordered an OG breakfast burrito for my dinner and the garlic aioli was soo good on it. I like trying some of the places I see and I'm glad I did here
I was honestly underwhelmed by this place and don't really understand the constant lines. It's probably a solid 3.5 strictly on the food, but I'm rounding up because the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I ordered the El Sancho, their Mexican breakfast burrito, and while it was fine, it wasn't anything special or especially memorable. The filling was really unevenly distributed, so some bites were basically all beans while others were just tater tots, and the tots themselves weren't crispy at all. Combined with the untoasted tortilla, the whole thing ended up being a pretty mushy blob of one texture, which made it not that enjoyable to eat. The flavors were decent in general, but it really needed something like a salsa or hot sauce to brighten it up and give it some punch. I later realized (too late) that they do have salsas available after seeing someone go up and ask for them, so it felt like a miss by the staff not to even mention that when handing me my food (or to simply have them readily available tableside as so many taquerias do). I also tried the Spicy Mexican Mocha, which sounded interesting, but it ultimately tasted like a regular mocha to me as it was neither spicy nor did it have any distinct Mexican notes that I could detect. All in all, I think the place is okay but it seems like they could use some better QC on the burritos and definitely not somewhere I'd wait in line for.
4/5 Legit breakfast burrito with fun, crispy tater tots! Tia Maria is the vegetarian one and personally didn't like the sweet fried plantain in it. I would like to stick it to savory in terms of flavor. And wish they toast or grill the tortilla so that it doesn't get mushy and too soft near the end. Great little neighborhood spot with a bunch of breakfast items! Tots look good and might try next time! Reasonable prices for the size! Service was ordinary:)
My boyfriend and I stopped here before heading out of SF. Wow, what a find. Their señorita latte was delicious, both iced and hot! The inside was crowded when we went, they have tables inside and outside but it's a small spot. Was very thankful they had a bathroom. I got the bad and boujee burrito. Love the fig jam and Brie! Paired perfectly with the chicken sausage! Tots inside were good too, a perfect burrito but not too filling or greasy! Would definitely come back to try something new!
Yay for Friday July 3rd off. Got to try something new. Go to yelp and discovered this place. 9 am, the place is busy, people go in and out. While looking at the display menu, the cashier offered to answer any questions. She did this to everyone who paused to decide. She also upsell, " would you like to add a drink something fresh juice...* she is good. They do orders fast but so many orders are pick up. A whole row of mopeds out in front. I got the boujee breakast burrito. This one had fig jam, tater tots, 2 eggs, sausage slices. A tiny sweet. Add the mild red sauce, we are in business. $12.48. Couldnt decide to eat there or not but ended up eating outside at their table. Tater tots were crunchy. Burrito was pan fried outside, nice and hot when you get it. It was delicious.

I've had this bookmarked for some time and decided to finally give it a try. You'd think it's just another breakfast sandwich, what could be so good about it? Boy was I in for a pleasant surprise. I ordered the OG, which has tater tots, your choice of bacon or sausage or BOTH, scrambled eggs and cheese, avocado optional and at an extra charge for $2.25 (which I was not aware of). First bite and I just knew this was a good breakfast burrito. All the flavors meshed so well together, nothing overpowering the other. The pictures and videos made it look small, but half filled me up! They pack the burrito, so I think for less than $15, it's pretty worth it. The service was quick and friendly. The exterior as well as the interior are very cute with the colorful entrance and blue seating. It's definitely giving The Mission! read more

A super busy spot in the Mission for casual on the go breakfast. Opened until 2:30pm on the weekdays and 3:00pm on the weekends. Be prepared to wait for your order, but trust that it will be tasty! We stopped by on a Sunday morning the few tables that were inside were full and there were people outside waiting for their orders. It's a fast moving environment, but it's so popular that it still takes a while. We waited about 45min for our order but were able to grab a table. They have a variety of breakfast burritos, toasts, Oatmeal, French toasts, along with other smaller breakfast options. They sell coffee and have a signature drink menu aswell. Prices are reasonable for San Francisco. OG Burrito - went with the sausage option and added avocado for a loaded burrito. The garlic aioli gave it a yummy flavor and brought it all together. El Sancho Burrito - I loved the tater tots and black bean combo in this one and the chorizo adds a great taste to it overall. Breakfast Little Sandwich - also went with the sausage option. The roll it was on was soft and fluffy. Pretty basic. I loved that all burritos included tater tots but weren't dry. They also had a green sauce and red sauce you can ask for that were great additions for more flavor and an added little kick. I will be going back to try their coffee and toasts since they had a lot of options. read more

I stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday and grabbed an el sancho burrito with chorizo to share with a friend. We weren't super hungry to opted to share one burrito which ended up being enough for our appetite. Loved that the eggs are soft scrambled and the crispy tots and chorizo add a great textural crunch to the otherwise soft burrito. Really enjoyed how flavorful the breakfast burrito was and for someone who isn't much of a burrito person, this really hit the spot and exceeded expectations for me! Luckily it wasn't very busy when we stopped by and we could order right away and got our food within 10 min. read more

On the recommendation of a friend, I finally enjoyed the OG breakfast burrito from breakfast little today. Although the cafe was busy (weekday morning), the staff was kind and efficient at managing takeout and in person orders. There were a few free tables when I arrived and they turned over frequently enough that it seemed like no one was waiting too long for a seat. The art and colorful mural on the front of the wall seal the ambience. Now to the burrito. I appreciated the balance of flavors and perfectly cooked eggs. What took the burrito to the next level for me was the tater tots that provided texture that enhanced the flavor. I have to admit that breakfast little might have my favorite breakfast burrito in the entire city! read more
Busy and lively on a weekend. Had variety of bfast burritos as well as other items. - El sancho (3.5/5) : decent breakfast burrito but in comparison to its neighbor, it isn't top tier. The tater tots are not crispy so everything is one texture, tortillas isn't grilled outside either. Did not have much chorizo and it didn't come with avocado, the add on had very little in the burrito. read more
I mean, I came back and just have to keep talking about this place. I always do phone orders - they're STILL fast even when they're busy. same as always, OG with sausage, tapatio and added avocado. I'm telling you as big backs, my boyfriend and I are full after eating this. I almost want to eat half of another but I also know good things have to also come to an end. I mean look at that cross section (also known as I was too hungry so I took a couple of bites first) can't wait to get this again :) read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a couple of years now, and I'm so glad I finally did. The breakfast burrito here is one of the best in the city! I stopped by this weekend at around 2:30pm, and luckily there was no line and no wait for a table. I tried the OG with sausage and the el Sancho breakfast burritos. Both were delicious, but I personally prefer the OG a bit more. I also got a strawberry pineapple agua fresca, which was light and refreshing. I can see myself coming back soon for another OG breakfast burrito! read more
Came around 11:20am and there was a line of around 15 people, but the line did move quite quickly. We waited around 20 minutes for our food (2 OG burritos). The burritos live up to the hype, I would try to order ahead if possible so you don't have to wait. I would say they are busy (worth the wait!), so be prepared to wait a bit. read more
I will admit I was the tiniest bit skeptical coming here after it had been hyped up so much for a year prior, but the food 100% exceeded my expectations. - The OG: ordered it with sausage and it also came with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy tater tots, and some cheese in a thin tortilla. Best part was the garlic aioli sauce mixed in the burrito which I LOVED, highly recommend getting cholula sauce in it too for a bit of extra kick - Classicos tots: very crispy and flavorful! Great bang for buck as well, especially for the burrito which was $10. It was pretty crowded when I went on a Sunday around 11am but was able to find a table to eat inside (there was more seating available than I expected). Line to order at the counter took around 10min. read more
Way too packed...can barely walk inside. If u wait long enough you'll be able to snag a small table. Not recommended for groups of more than 2-3. I was lucky and there was parking right in front at 11:30am on a Saturday. The OG Breakfast Burrito ($9.99 + $2.25 for avocado): Skip the avocado. The lady rushed and spoke so quickly..before I knew it I was charged way too much for a few slices of avocado. Very good breakfast burrito though. Needs more meat to make it saltier. Tator tots are a game changer. read more
This is a very popular "little" breakfast spot in The Mission, in San Francisco. It is a counter service restaurant with seating indoors and limited seats outside. The service is fairly fast and friendly My party ordered a variety of items...breakfast tacos, burritos and sandwiches. Also espresso beverages. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was good, but not great. The breakfast burritos are considered among the very best in The City! (Lesson learned- order what a place is famous for!) I also ordered the Senorita Latte (similar to Spanish latte, but not as sweet), which was very enjoyable It's a fun little spot, with the Mexican Fay of the Dead decor displayed in original artworks adorning the walls. WORTH. THE. HYPE. The breakfast burritos are so good!! Super flavorful. We got the OG with sausage and the bad and boujee. The bad and boujee was a good mix of sweet and salty with the fig jam, but my favorite was the OG. I didn't know you could order hot sauce until after we finished our meal but will have to do that next time. It's a small shop and it gets super crowded. We got there a little past 10am on a Sunday and there was no line, but by the time we finished eating it was super packed with people waiting for their orders and for doordash pickups as well. Good burrito, but interested in trying the OG if I come back! There was luckily no line around 9am on Saturday, but it started to get crowded shortly after. There are some tables with cushioned seats inside and some outside seating as well. I opted for the el sancho with avocado. It had a thin tortilla and was definitely on the saucier/wet side. Beans were good. It was a hearty and comforting burrito. It can get slightly messy towards the end. I don't quite remember tasting much chorizo though - it may have been overpowered by everything else. read more
If you were to place a savory dish or a sweet dessert in front of me and asked me to choose, more times than not, I'd choose savory. My life pahtner is the opposite. As our cousins drove us around downtown San Francisco Saturday morning, we were on a quest to experience popular Bay Area bakeries. I didn't think we'd have the belly capacity to grub on anything else after our initial two stops being bakeries and trying the confectionary delights. Our cousin-in-law (CIL) informed us about a Mexican eatery known for their breakfast burritos and since I had not eaten anything savory on this morning rendevous, I quickly said let's go knowing that I'd probably be eating something delish. Breakfast Little needs to be on your Must Visit restaurants if you're visiting The City. Instantly from my first bite of The OG breakfast burrito and the BL Tots, I was a fan of Breakfast Little and I know you'll be too. Breakfast Little is located in the Mission District specifically on 22nd Street. The spot is in between Spices and Groceries and Heung Yuen Restaurant. Parking consists of street parking and parking via an app. Breakfast Little can be found in a gray painted building with colorful artist depicted cacti and mosaic tiles surrounding the entryway. This is a popular eatery and when we visited on a Saturday, the restaurant was packed with diners. There are a few tables to dine outside and inside the restaurant, there are wooden tables and light blue metallic chairs. I really liked the decor inside Breakfast Little with the Marilyn Monroe artwork where she has her face covered in Dias de las Muertas makeup and another painting depicting Easy-E from Compton's N.W.A. There's also beautiful art pieces from Francisco Franco Studios depicting Mexican inspired images. Each staff member I interacted with was friendly and accommodating. When you pull up Breakfast Little on Google, it describes it as "a popular San Francisco cafe known for its breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and coffee." I didn't order their coffee, but I did order an agua fresca because I knew I was ordering something savory and wanted juice to wash it down. The agua fresca I got had a watermelon flavor, it was refreshing, and I thought it was one of the better agua frescas I drank. My CIL recommended that I order the OG Little, which I didn't hesitate to order and I also ordered their BL Tots. On their minimalistic menu, which is probably why their food is amazing, both the OG Little and the BL Tots are listed as best sellers. The OG Little breakfast burrito is served with two eggs, it comes with bacon or sausage (I chose bacon), comes with cheese, garlic aioli, and tater tots. My CIL was recording me as I took my first bite and I immediately could tell the cooks here make fresh and delectable food. It was tasty, savory, satisfying, and I enjoyed every single bite. The BL Tots come with egg, bacon, cheese, and garlic aioli on the perfectly fried tater tots. The Breakfast Little cooks are generous with the components of this dish. Instead of bacon, I asked for sausage and the tots were covered with this protein. We asked for sunny side egg and once we broke it, the yolk added to an already flavorful dish. There was plenty of cheese and chunks of avocado, which I don't remember if I paid extra, but make sure to add avocado. The garlic aioli ratcheted up the flavor and these tots were divine. Our CIL recommended B Patisserie and Breakfast Little on our personalized foodie tour and both choices were on point. Eating this savory breakfast at Breakfast Little will be a core memory for many years. read more

My favorite breakfast item is without a doubt a breakfast burrito. Breakfast little had very kind women who worked the cash register and highly recommended the green salsa and avocado in our burritos. I have to say my god this is a good breakfast burrito. Their tots are so crispy and make every bite perfect. Their habanero salsa is a MUST get! My new go-to for breakfast!! read more
Where is the yum button?!? This was a total unexpected find, and it's one of those moments where I'm so glad I listened to my instincts! During the week, I usually prefer something light for breakfast, but once I walked into breakfast little, I knew I needed a breakfast burrito. This is one of the best breakfast burritos that I've tried! The OG is that item you order and you don't think about the calories, because once you take a bite, calories don't count. The tortilla was perfectly heated, something that I find often overlooked, and the burrito was filled with everything. Crispy, tater tots, melted cheese, perfectly scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and yes, I needed to spice it up and added some Cholula. This was such a mouthwatering, delicious burrito, but it makes me regret not living in the area. The customer service was excellent, the food was excellent, and you should be asking yourself when you're going to make a trip to San Francisco to try this deliciousness! read more
We scored a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. It's a colorful neighborhood joint with a few seats and outdoor seating. Local families, homeless workers, police and trade workers are in and out, including the moped delivery guys hovering around. Service was friendly and quick, We ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee. Not cheap, $12 but we split it. The burrito was hot, moist, flavorful and tasty. You could taste all the components including the scrambled eggs. Their special fillings include fried tater tots for richness and texture. Not sure if it's something I'd order instead of a regular burrito but the vibe was nice. The place was tiny but busy by 9am and brings a sunny spot on a drab street. read more
