It's been a while since we were last here. Returned recently as hubs was craving their breakfast sandwich. While there, we also picked up a Dirty Chai and creamy tomato soup (soup of the day). Hubs ordered the special breakfast sandwich. Waited about 10 mins for it to be ready. They are dense sandwiches and quite filling. The tomato soup was flavorful. Surprised at how much comes in the cup. As for the dirty chai, although spices came through, for me, it was on the watery side. Hubs said it just tasted like spicy water. read more

After years of experience with this place, I have to say the special breakfast sandwich is still the best in the city. BUT you need it with the salsa. The day they stop making the salsa condiment is the day I stop eating here. It's an essential component. The lemon bars used to be perfect but the last couple times I got them they were dry. Love this place! Sandwiches are good! Came here in 2020 when I was visiting my aunt. And she introduced this place to me. Finally, was able to come here with my fiancé and she loves this place too. Nice little bakery and you can eat outside in the benches. Just have to wait a little bit and find parking on the street. read more

Iconic biscuit breakfast sandwich spot located in Outer Sunset! The special sandwich is a must but if you're not a fan of sauces/aioli get the regular. It definitely makes for a heavy breakfast. The biscuits are made fresh and taste amazing! There's almost always a line here but it's so worth it! They also have amazing beignets and huge cookies. It's ok. It's a famed bakery in SF's outer sunset district, a block from the ocean and famous for their biscuits. Hard to miss - Blue awning, on the right as you're heading towards the ocean, there is always a line / a crowd out the door, as well as the sidewalk outdoor seatings. Overall casual environment with decent food. However our to-go biscuit and sandwich order today missed the mark. All 3 items were more or less wrapped / rolled into a ball.. So upon opening my sandwich which I very much looked forward to, it was a squished mess. :( The 2 biscuits were also squished and looked like a flat cookie. :( :( read more

Love this Outer Sunset breakfast biscuit joint. The Regular is my go to, and I take a few plain biscuits to go for later. The Regular is a fluffy, buttery biscuit overflowing with tender, creamy, cheesy eggs, and crispy bacon. Don't forget to grab their flavor town hot sauce to drench your breakfast sandwich in. Tried the impossible to resist chocolate chip cookie, wow what a treat and loved that there was no salt sprinkled on top like the fad is these days. All of there food looks top notch. Best breakfast sandwich in San Francisco! Or at least until I find another one that tops Devil's Teeth Baking Company. My husband was supposed to wait for me to try this spot out but ended up going without me a few months ago with a friend before going hiking at Lands End. I went out on Saturday hoping to order breakfast burritos and while on Yelp, I couldn't find a spot I was satisfied with and immediately jumped on Devil's Yelp page when it popped up in my following search of breakfast sandwich . Figured the wait times at the spot was going to be busy so I ordered on Yelp directly for pickup. Loved the continual updates, ordered far more than I would have online than I would've in person and I'm so glad I did because their carrot cake... phenomenal!!! It was so moist. I'm so upset thinking about how my husband finished it all without me . I'll be eating my next slice in the car before I get home next time haha. They've got a well oiled machine on ordering process. If you order in person, there's a dedicated line and orders are set outside on a table while they call your name. Pre-orders from Yelp or mobile orders are set for pickup inside the restaurant. Sandwiches appear small... but compacted inside is a mighty and fulfilling bite. Residential and metered parking available but tricky in the residential sides because of the garages. The breakfast sandwhich is very solid but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It's a pretty big sandwhich, the bacon is nice and salty, fluffy eggs, but the lemon aoili was really the standout to me. Great hint of acid and added much needed moisture to the sandwhich overall. The bacon also provided salt but I felt like the eggs could've been salted a bit more. Biscuit was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside but overall made the sandwhich a bit dry in my opinion. read more

A great spot to grab a breakfast sandwich. They make their buttermilk biscuits in house and stuff it. You have to get the special breakfast sandwich which has eggs, pepper jack cheese, lemon garlic aioli, and avocado! They also have an array of other baked goods I have yet to try. Just know that you may be waiting for a while on weekends. Be prepared to wait quite a long time even after placing your order. There's not much seating outside so I usually have to take it to go. Not sure what the hype is. From the pictures it looks good with quality ingredients (I got the special like everyone else) I had my first bite and all I tasted was biscuit. Half way through eating its still the taste of biscuit. I didn't taste any of the bacon, garlic sauce or cheese. If you love biscuit flavor then this is for you but to me it's a boring tasting sandwich that isn't worth the price. Sorry, I wouldn't come back. read more

Delicious breakfast sandwich that is worth all the hype! I ordered the special breakfast sandwich without cheese because I'm lactose intolerant. The buttermilk biscuit was so hot, steamy, and delicious, and the rest of the sandwich made the entire bite so moist and creamy. A good serving of egg despite the egg shortage! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night dreaming of this biscuit. I miss it so much. My friend asked for a bite and I regret giving in and saying yes, but I know she regrets not getting one. This is hands down one of the best breakfast biscuits I've ever had. Stacked to the gods. I traveled 30 minutes to get here and I'd do it again. The service was great, everyone was so kind. I have wanting to try Devil's Teeth for a while and finally made it out to outer sunset. We went in on a Saturday morning and there was a short line to order, but moved quickly. There is no indoor seating, but a cute parklet where everyone was sitting and enjoying their sandwich. After we ordered, the sandwich came out fresh and hot within 5-10 minutes! Special Breakfast Sandwich (5/5): This sandwich was so good! It was warm when it came out and freshly made to order. I loved the biscuit, which was buttery but not overly flaky or dense or dry, which are my personal pet peeves. The egg was fluffy, and the sauce was not overwhelming but complemented the sandwich as a whole. The only thing I regret was I added a sausage patty for extra, but I did not realize it would replace the bacon in the sandwich not add to the bacon. Regardless, I loved this sandwich and would definitely come back again for this breakfast sandwich. read more

They're not kidding about "Serving Outer San Francisco" because it doesn't get much "outer" than Noriega and 46th Avenue near Ocean Beach. I was in the area with the noble intent of walking across the city to SoMa. I can get obsessive about my step count. Every morning I find myself in the sunset, I love coming here for their special breakfast sandwich. I love that this location close to the beach so I can enjoy my sandwich with a view. I usually order via yelp for pickup when I am on my way there, and it takes about 20-30 minutes for it to be ready. I get the special breakfast sandwich (5/5) - it comes on a flaky biscuit with bacon, egg, avocado, and the aioli takes this sandwich to the next level. I recently bought a cinnamon bun at the devils teeth bakery at the Embarcadero center and it was not at good as I was expecting and too much cinnamon and the person behind the counter did not heat it up for me and there was no frosting on the cinnamon buns which would have made my experience much better!!! I think for the price it needs frosting and heated when needed!!!! read more

Came here on a Sunday morning and boy was the line long! I realized that the trick was to do a early pickup order online and it made it way easier. Good: - Wow the sandwich here was amazing! One of the best known bakeries out here in the Outer Sunset, and San Francisco, and even the Bay Area at large! There are crazy lines for their breakfast biscuits; since I'm local, I end up deciding to come back later or other days during times like that. On that note, I don't know if I am a little spoiled because I am so close, or there's a little bit of a psychological effect of having to travel and queue for their food, but they are definitely popular. Friendly service, and the set-up is very modern SF: small interior, and some outside seating. Parking is only OK because if there is not a lot else out there. read more

The special was satisfying and I love that their chai tea (with oatmilk) was subtly sweet (and not overly so) - perfect! Mr. Banh Mi is a small hole-in-the-wall with a pickup window and a tiny interior counter and kitchen. I ordered the BBQ Pork Banh Mi since the young man up front kindly recommended it, and my girlfriend ordered the Tofu Banh Mi. These sandwiches were super well-priced and came out fast, hot, and good-sized. They smelled amazing and had our mouths watering immediately. We ate half at the beginning of our walk and saved the other half for later in the day at Golden Gate Park. The BBQ pork had a great sauce on it and plenty of jalapeños and pickled veggies, mostly carrots, and not quite enough daikon for me personally, but it was absolutely loaded with meat and vegetables. It was delicious when fresh, but somehow even better a few hours later when I finished the second half. The sauce had soaked into the bread more, and the flavors really came together. I did miss the usual huge helping of buttery Vietnamese mayo, and there was no pâté, which was a slight disappointment for me. It did feel a little dry at first since the juicy marinated BBQ pork had to provide most of the moisture. That said, the bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and everything tasted super fresh. Overall, this was the perfect on-the-go meal, and I would definitely come back next time I'm heading to Golden Gate Park.

If I had an open morning, I'll go there occasionally to work (using my own hotspot) while having breakfast or we will go on the weekends for the happy hour and early dinner. Overall a great spot for coffee, wine, and pizza. All things I love.

Anyone who grew up with me knows my absolute hankering for sweets. But, since growing a bit older (hopefully wiser) and a bit more health conscious, I've suppressed a lot of my sugary habits... Until now. Oh Lord, forgive me for I have sinned. Even the thought of consuming sweets sends me into a guilt trip. That being said, I have heard so many great things about Devil's Teeth Baking Company and decided to make the trek from SOMA to the outer Sunset District just for this place. And with a name like Devil's Teeth, who wouldn't be slightly seduced? And like the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden, I knew I shouldn't have been anywhere near it. Oh well! Sometimes you just gotta YOLO it! *throws scruples to the wind* Upon arrival, as I opened my car door, I could immediately smell the aroma of delicious baked goods permeating through the air. It was like a delicate lullaby to my nose tempting me to come closer. God please help me to resist temptation as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. As I walked into the store, my heart skipped a beat. There they were. Cookies, croissants, cinnamon rolls, danishes and a plethora of other delightful delicacies sat behind the glass display ready to be devoured. I really really really really DO try hard to make healthy choices, but today was NOT going to be that day. The first thing my eyes settled on was a large peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The angel on my shoulder said not to, but the devil on my shoulder said come on, just try a little. The chocolate chips were so large and numerous throughout the cookie that I was convinced that maybe a small bite wouldn't hurt. Next my eyes shifted to the crumb cake. I grew up eating cheap ol' Little Debbie's and thought that even then, it was the greatest thing in the world. Since those Little Debbie days, I've learned a thing or two about quality and let's just say that this coffee crumb cake had it goin' on in all aspects! Soft, delicately sweet, with a bit of a tart flavor from the rhubarb. Sweet Lordy Jesus. By now I had no conscious at all. Just give me the goodz! I also purchased the cinnamon roll. Words cannot describe what I tasted and felt, but let me go ahead and try. Soft Gooey Sweet Cinnamony Crunchy. You name it. This forbidden "fruit" was better than I had ever imagined. I needed something to wash this all down before leaving, so I decided to go with one of their house made mango juices from the fridge. A perfect way to end such a sugary trip. Prices are a tad high, but for the quality and flavor you get, it is well worth the extra pennies. They have outdoor seating that is great for relaxing with your coffee or pastries, or to even just chatting with your friends. This place is kid friendly and has colorful chalk for children to draw on the city walkways with. They also serve savory dishes, sandwiches and sourdough bread. So, if you aren't in the mood for something sweet, there are plenty of other options to choose from at this bakery. The only excuse I have for going on such a sugar crazed frenzy is "The devil made me do it." Yeah, that's it. I want to start off by giving a heads up to the owners, who decided to open such a fantastic bakery on this street. It is exactly what the neighbor hood needed. The owners are wonderful, always very interested in who you are, and what your about- It makes one feel good to be asked questions- because it shows they truly want to get to know their customers. I have a lot to say about this place.. so hold on to your seats. The staff: About 95% of the staff are sweet, and overly attentive. But lately the same two young girls, have given me less than standard service.. For example, when I came in by myself to get a few things- the young Asian girl with glasses and black hair and another girl with brown hair and blue eyes- ignore me- especially if there is other young men in the bakery. Normally I wouldn't consider this a problem, but it has happened now more than a few times.. It doesn't make any sense to me, because EVERYONE ELSE is SOOO overly nice and polite!??!? BUT I still come here because I love the food and the location.. right by the beach. OK now for the food: In the latest issue of 7x7 magazine that frequents my office... there was an article about the "top 10 places to eat in the outer sunset". What made me SO happy, is that Devil's Teeth scored 2nd place out of 10 for their breakfast sandwich!!! The breakfast sandwich I have had it REALLY good- and then other time disappointing.. but hold on let me emphasize that when its GOOD- its REALLY GOOD. It's a home made fresh biscuit, cheddar cheese, bacon, and what they call their "two egg-er"- which is an enormously sized scrambled egg.. When it's "good" it's due to the perfection of the ratio portion of the bacon, egg, and cheese.. I read in the article that there is to be 3 strips of bacon when in fact... it is ONE piece of bacon folded over. Last time I brought one home for my wife, she opened it up and saw little else but a daunting 4 inch egg-er in the sandwich.. I hate to say this but she just threw the egg to our two labs.. they seemed to like it. it was way too much and over powered the rest of it. But either way I cant deny it is one of my favorite things on their menu. -Pie: The strawberry pie is by far my favorite. Lately they have been doing a strawberry and blueberry blend- which is alright, but my favorite is the plain strawberry! The banana creme pie is second to none and I dream of it often :) -Muffins: My favorite muffin- by far is the black berry muffin.. the blackberry banana is also great as well as the blueberry banana. I can woof down these heavenly muffins in a sitting- that's how good they are. I also highly enjoy the donut muffin, but the fruit muffins are by far the BEST, possibly that Ive ever had in my LIFE! - As far as the rest: The Cheese cake- is AMAZING. I love this little topping they put over it.. its almost like an extra creamy topping.. since cheesecake can b somewhat dry. I love the lemon cheesecake as well. The quiche is AMAZING, the crust is perfect buttery and flaky. Pretty much everything is wonderful. I highly recommend this place! read more

Definitely have to agree with everyone that Devil's Teeth Baking Company is very FRESH! I came in ready to start my morning off with one of their breakfast sammies and the banana blueberry muffins. I have a huge soft spot for breakfast sandwiches. When I saw that Devil's Teeth serves breakfast sammies, I was super excited to try one! I really appreciate that the sammies are made fresh - right after I placed my order I saw them crack the eggs into the skillet. The portions are also huge, but then again the breakfast sandwich was $5. So how did the food taste? Well...I was slightly underwhelmed by the breakfast sandwich. The biscuit was soft and flaky, but the sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. They should add some hot sauce or ketchup on the side. Also, I really wish they put sausage in the sandwich. There are 2 strips of bacon, cheese, and lots of fluffy scrambled eggs but where's the sausage?? The banana blueberry muffin comes topped with whole blueberries baked into a banana bread muffin. The texture of the muffin was a little too doughy and tasted a bit bland. Just an extra hint of banana flavor and these muffins would be perfect! Only got their ginger cookie because I went a little late in the afternoon and most pastries were gone. I wasn't hungry at that time so I decided on the cookie so I can save it for later. The ginger cookie was delicious!! I wasn't even hungry, but decided to try it anyways and it was yummy! It is about the size of your whole hand (pretty big cookie) for $2.50. There are actual soft ginger candy chunks in it that are sweet/very ginger-y and the cookie itself is a good blend of saltiness and sweetness. Very chewy cookie and did not turn hard or dry out after a day. The staff were very friendly and you can help yourself with some water if you'd like (located at where the sugar/creamer are). There are limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. They serve not just pastries/brownies/cookies/cakes but also breakfast/lunch sandwiches, lunch dishes..etc. Also have beignet Sundays for $1 a piece...too bad I went on a Saturday.
