i thought I was ordering a sandwich, not a dinner for two! And what a wonderful surprise it was. The ribeye sandwich is definitely going to be a repeat order. Cold beer, fast service, and good food - a trifecta for a restaurant

Service: I'm deducting a star because I had to wait to be seated for almost 10 minutes. My actual Table Server was okay, but didn't check on me during my meal. Sorry. Drinks: Coffee was great! Much better than any bitter Starbucks coffee that you need to dilute with Mocha, chocolate, 1/2 and 1/2, syrups, or whatever the heck people add to black Coffee so they don't need to taste coffee. Entree: Prime Rib Breakfast Burrito ($$13.95). - Details for the Burrito from their menu: "Prime Rib Breakfast Burrito USDA Prime rib, breakfast sausage, eggs, onions, peppers and white cheddar in a chipotle tortilla. smothered with tomatillo stiss and meied white cheddar. Served with country potatoes." Taste: I never had a Prime Rib breakfast burrito--but I'm a FAN! Plus, the potatoes and side of bread was perfect! HOWEVER, I do like some condiments for meals (e.g. Salsa, extra butter and Jam for bread). Ambiance: Subdued, warm colors, and quiet. Nice for those of us trying to wake up and grab a decent breakfast before a flight. Overall: I will go back--but I will allow extra time for service delays. And I won't have high expectations.

They were open late before a red eye flight, so I stopped in. The beer was good. I ordered a BBQ burger. They were busy, so the burger took a bit to come out, but it was pretty standard and met expectations. The bar area was good and had a few TVs with the game on.

Hanna is the best server! "How are you doing on time?" This is a crucial question when dinning at the airport. I so appreciate that she takes the time to ask all of her clients. We arrived at 9:30am and the restaurant was busy but not too bad we got sat, ordered and had our food by 9:45am. We both ordered the same. Food was good. Nothing to rave about but it hits the spot. Hanna was nice enough to walk us through the digital check out process.

I wish I looked up other reviews before stopping in here. Like many others mentioned the service can be very slow and the host staff were not friendly. I did have a good experience with my server and she thanked me for being patient but the kitchen can be slow and I wouldn't recommend people eat here unless they have a very long layover. I got the bbq burger and it was over cooked. The food is also not what you would expect from a steakhouse and I think it's better to go to the food court across the hall and get similar quality for much less and faster.

While it is in the airport, a chop house should be a bit upscale in my mind. The most puzzling part of our visit was the checkout by using your phone. I watched many patrons get frustrated with the process. While we had no issues, it is worth pointing out that you scan your qr code on the table and enter credit card info to pay. We ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and she had the chop chop salad. While the sald was delicious, the cheeseburger was very average. Our waitress seemed like she may have had too many tables or helping people pay was taking much time away from her. My guess is the value of the qr code pay is not worth what you are paying for the system.

Great tuna starter and nice cocktail during my short layover. Service was good, and it's very easy to pay and go with the QR code system. Don't spend a ton of time in the A terminal but always stop here when I do.

I had a layover in Denver on the way to Indianapolis and I had a good 2 hours to spare. Hungry as I am, I looked for the what I thought was the best option. First off, I had to wait 15 mins for the waitress to notice me and give me a menu. Next, I had to wait another 20 mins for service. By the time my order is in, I already lost my appetite. The food took another 30 mins to come, so I've waited a lil more than an hour just to eat. Luckily, I'm a quick eater and I'm able to devour my whole bbq cheeseburger, fries, and ipa in an epic time of 20 mins - or else I would probably would have missed my flight and stay at the chophouse for breakfast... Overall, the food is mediocre and the service is very slow. Come here only if you have a lot of time to kill!

Melanie was excellent as our server and the host was super friendly too. The place wasn't overly busy when we got there and our holiday lunch could proceed with little drama. The restaurant was so festive and put us in the holiday spirit. I decided on the ahi tuna steak frites after a challenging decision making process. The seasoning was a little salty for me but the ahi inside was fine and with the salad, the taste balanced out. The salad was a huge portion for a side. Lots of fries with my dish as well. I shared them with my friend. I would return because I would like to try some other dishes and the service was amazing.

I can understand some of the bad reviews, but when your at DIA this is one of the best options for food. There is usually a line when I pass by on my way to a flight and today we were able to walk in. I thought the prices on the menu were reasonable and the staff prompt and courteous. Tried the burger which was great and a nice break from the crowds in the concourse.

Service was great! Super quick, super sweet staff. Got the chicken burger without cheese. It was pretty decent. For a side of the house salad but for some reason they gave me a Caesar salad. I asked them to take off the cheese because I'm lactose intolerant, not realizing that I still can't have the dressing :/ ate it anyways haha Got a glass of white wine, the server definitely enabled my need for another class hence I ordered two full glasses of white wine. No complaints here-

So if you don't start off right it won't end up right from the sarcastic attitude of our hostess who wanted to seat us at a dirty table smh the to place our orders Caesar salad with sirloin steak medium not blue rare a chophouse cheeseburger well done not burnt what a organized catastrophe then you bring our food and 4 tables have no silverware omg stale bread cause this wasn't Brioche the was yet a epic fail but since travelers don't have many options they feel they are getting a better airport dining experience my answer is go fast foot at least you won't get bamboozled by the ambience bar and bustling pandemonium pass this place

Ordered breakfast. Eggs were out of a box or they added too much water to them. English muffin was like a frisbee. Hard! Potatoes were ok. Sausage was sausage. Service was ok. Will not return.

The vibe is upscale, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. For food, my wife and I shared the Filet Flight, which included samples of their prime, wagyu, and grass-fed 4 oz filets. Such a fun way to experience the different cuts, and every one of them was excellent. We also started with the Yellowtail Hamachi Sashimi, which was incredibly fresh. We also got the Oak-Grilled Broccolini and Duck Fat Fries, both of which were fantastic sides. There were also so many other side items on the menu that sounded amazing, including the Hand Made Gnocchi, Black Truffle Mac & Cheese, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Whipped Potatoes. Definitely a place you want to come back to and try them all. As a small extra touch for our anniversary, the staff gave us a handwritten card along with a few dessert bites, which was really thoughtful and helped make the night feel even more special. An easy 5 stars and a perfect spot for a celebration or date night.

Lots of professionals seemed to hang out here after work. They offer a great selection of steaks, half size portions of sides (which is amazing) and an array of cocktails and wine. I got grass fed New York and my friend got filet. Hers was slightly under but nothing she couldn't eat. The best thing on the menu... black truffle Mac and cheese!! Wow! The octopus was also tender and had great wood fire flavor. Our server was a bit all over the place and when we needed something, I had to track down someone else. Didn't love that. Would definitely come back again!

Celebrated a big business success recently and decided to go whole hog (is that even a saying these…read moredays?:) on a dining-extravaganza. Decided on A5 because 1) it's got some great appetizers / starters, 2) love the servers there, and 3) was in the mood to chow down on a hunka-chunka serious steak, and for the first time get a tomahawk slab o' beef that I had seen before on the A5 menu. Came in early on a Thursday night (6:15 pm) so the place was losing its happy hour crowd and had not yet been swooped down on by the hip dinner crowd. A great time to go. Could not have been better. Started with their crab and shrimp dip app and Japanese milk bread, both of which are stand-out non-steak items on their menu. Ordered the tomahawk steak which is ridiculously large (over 40 ounces (10 of which is from the large rib bone)) and ridiculously good (and ridiculously expensive . . . as in like over $225), along with an order of asparagus. Loved it all. Of course, we split the steak and had no room for dessert. Brought home probably 10 ounces of meat along with some other leftovers which will give us another night of good at-home eating. Bottom line . . . wonderful experience. Pricey but they made it a true celebration for us and it was well worth it. Go. You'll have a great time there, and if you don't want to blow a bundle and its your first time at A5, check them out at happy hour. It's probably the best deal for the best HH food in Denver.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that. It was tender but maybe a bit dryer than I like for a filet. The peppercorn crust was amazing! The Saratoga chips are made in house and they are very good as well. Super crispy with the right amount of salt. We got a history lesson from one of the servers, about 10min worth of backstory about the restaurant and it was almost like dinner and a show. This was by far the worst part of our trip to Denver... be warned. Parking: There is free parking in the back of the building. When we first walked in we were greeted and brought to our reserved tables upstairs. If you decide to try this place, get a reservation and do downstairs. There is so much more to look at downstairs! Instead, we were brought to a backroom that was much cooler(in temp) and had way less to look at... we felt "put into the corner." It was busy, and it appeared they were short staffed. It took a long time for our server to get to us. She was very sweet and I definitely felt for her, she was really trying! However, it took awhile to get our drinks, the complimentary bread came out after our appetizer and house salads... anything complimentary should come out right away. The food: We got the Rocky Mountain oysters and I actually thought they were good! The cocktail sauce is very tomato forward and the "horseradish sauce" was a joke! There was absolutely no flavor and I am convinced it was just sour cream! If you do order these, ask for their ranch- it was dill flavored and delicious! The house salad was good But wet... like I had water on my plate. If you want a Caesar Salad it will cost an extra 7.50!!!!!!!!! Why!? That doesn't make any sense! The complimentary sourdough was good but the whipped butter had no taste at all... we had to sprinkle some salt on it for it to actually taste decent. We got the New York strip 16oz and the Elk steaks. The New York strip was the worst steak we have ever had! It was supposed to be cooked to a medium but was definitely closer to a medium rare. The butter on top did not have any flavor and was pointless. It had a fair amount of fat on it and the crust tasted "ashy" to us. It was expensive so we ate it, but terrible! The mashed potatoes were not mashed well! I had a whole potato in it! The veggies were mushy and overcooked. The elk steaks were actually very good! I would recommend that! The wild rice was brown rice with a few wild rice pieces... and again mushy veggies! The total price for one alcoholic drink, one bottled soda, a half order of Rocky Mountain oysters, the New York strip and elk steaks was over $200 with tip. We went to the restrooms afterwards and they were disgusting and dirty! If we are spending over $200 on a meal it better be great service, food and ambiance! This missed the mark HEAVILY! If you do feel the need to go here, get a table downstairs, make a reservation, get the Rocky Mountain oysters with the dill ranch and the elk steaks.

Jason greeted us warmly and followed this with soft, warm bread with Anaheim-spiced garlic butter that we could have filled up on and left happy. It's stellar. Drinks arrived quickly: my Great Divide farmhouse ale and a potent White Russian that had mom in silly mode. Mom took her salad to the woodshed. My cup of green Chile corn chowder hit the spot. We were stoked when our server from my last birthday brought our entrees. It felt like home. While the "Sugar Steak" is their calling card and a number of topping combos are available, we went for straight up beef. No regrets. Medium rare? Perfect. Mom's filet mignon torched the one I had at Gallagher's in Las Vegas a week ago--at a much better price. I tried the wagyu coulette (picanha). Unbelievably tender, it's my new Bastien's fave. Side and soup or salad come with your steak--none of the a la carte nickel-and-diming found at most steakhouses nowadays. This sets Bastien's apart. We enjoyed the twice-baked potato and white cheddar mashers. I can vouch for the loaded baked potato and French onion soup, as well. The visit started off rocky but she sure knew how to make it a memorable experience. She is definitely the right person in her position. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, & the gal (she has short brownish blondish hair & a smile and attitude to remember... she genuinely cared both times) who melted our butter not only this time but last time was such a wonderful cherry on top. We will return to this establishment and definitely recommend.

They timed our pre-ordered apps perfectly and cleared the table right on cue for the tomahawk steaks and sides. Our birthday girl had a great time. We brought a cake, but since it's $5 per person to cut and serve, we boxed it up instead. The restaurant is definitely a vibe perfect for a girls night out and not too far to walk down market street (or uber/lyft) to the bars. For larger groups, the "private" open seating area requires a $2,000 minimum spend with a $1,000 deposit to book. Parking is easy with garage validation next door or valet available. Keep in mind valet will end when the restaurant closes so if you plan to stay out later, let valet know and you can pay so that you have your key to take your car at the end of the night. Super kind guy by the way!

After reading other reviews and checking out photos beforehand, I knew the Colorado lamb was a must-order. It's not something I usually go for, but it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Absolutely worth the hype. We also ordered the birria short rib and hickory smoked picanha, and both were solid choices. The shrimp and corn grits were amazing, and I really loved the aged cheddar mac and cheese. Other dishes like the chickpea croquettes and the chili relleno were also pretty good and rounded out the meal nicely. The wait staff was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has a cool, lively vibe. The only minor downside was that the outdoor heaters were a bit too hot, but that's a very small nitpick. Overall, an easy 5 out of 5 stars. Great food, great service, and a place I'd happily come back to.

The lamb was excellent, but the sweet mashed potatoes absolutely stole the show and easily the best thing we ate all night. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. For an appetizer, two meats, two sides, and dessert, our total came out to $88, which felt like a great value for the quality. Overall, it left a really good impression and we'd definitely come back again.
