Was told this was a must try when visiting Denver. Party of 4 arrived for late weekday breakfast. Was seated immediately. Service was great, we ordered a Cinnamon roll biscuit to share. It was good but very doughy, almost like it wasn't cooked all the way through? My breakfast was delicious and the biscuits are HUGE! So we were stuffed. A little bummed they didn't have merch in my size (wanted to buy a tshirt) but cute spot and must try when in Denver. This location shares a spot with a pizza place as well so it did start getting a bit crowded closer to lunch time.
So don't be fooled this place is in atomic pizza. I guess it triples as atomic pizza, fat Sully's, and Denver biscuit company. We walked in and was instantly hit with a strong vinegar smell. We ordered the half cinnamon roll. The dough is flavored good, and over all taste is very good. My wife and I decided to share the three run double with a side of sausage gravy and ham steak. If you know us you know we have lots of places to eat at today so we need to pace ourselves dang I'm glad we shared because it was a lot of food. I enjoyed the gravy it was a little spicy and different than a typical gravy for biscuits. My wife thought it was just alright. The eggs were fluffy and the homemade jam was good. Not sweet. Overall I would come back.
When researching Denver, before our visit, I knew we had to visit Denver Biscuit Company. We stopped in on our first morning for breakfast and returned a few days later. For our party of three we had the 3 run double and biscuits & gravy, with sides of eggs, hash browns, cheese grits and a sausage patty. Drinks included a mimosa, champagne margarita and coffee. The food was excellent. I especially loved the biscuits & gravy. Some of the best I've had. The champagne margarita was also very good. Two of us returned a few days later and I got the biscuits & gravy again, hubby had the 3 run double and we shared the strawberry shortcake. It was sooooo good. Leftovers were taken both days, including the great strawberry jam. Service was excellent both visits. Our server told us of a farmers market a short walk away, which was perfect after our breakfast. If we visit Denver again, I'll absolutely be back.
The biscuit sandwich was delicious but the hash browns were just okay and a bit cold. Our server was very nice. Good environment inside.
This was the 1st place we went after landing from LA. Our stewardess even cosigned it! We were not disappointed! You will not leave hungry, cuz these are some BIG ASS BISCUITS! Make sure you get the sausage gravy and add an over easy egg! The service was great and quick. Will definitely be back if I'm in Denver again
I recently visited Denver for a brief weekend trip and this was the only restaurant I ate at for the 3 meals I had here-- there was just so much I wanted to try, we kept coming back to Atomic Cowboy. The burger is a damn good burger. The pizza slices were so big and customizable. The biscuits were huge and tasty, but so heavy, I don't think I can look at biscuits anymore. The beer is good, the cocktails are good, the vibes were good. I really enjoyed my experience here and would definitely recommend this place!

Oldies playing just hits differently Ordered the Franklin and it was decent maybe a 7. Service was decent The bad Coffee was luke warm The ugly. Holy shit where do I start? I ordered the hamburger and it came with Velvetta slices oh wait they put this shit on the fried chicken (the Franklin). They do make their pickles. However, they are not dill so don't get all excited. They are more like a sweet pickle and on the hamburger it only add to the Fukery. Oh and no fries or side comes with the hamburger. Save yourself the ekg and time and eat at Red Robin or pal out with the homeless guy outside and see if he will share his food
My crowd descended on the DBS in Colfax just before a horrendous hailstorm for some good food to take our minds off the imminent destruction of our vehicle. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, the Missus ordered the French toast biscuit and my daughter ordered the Lola. All entrees got high marks. The service was good and the food was tasty. Their biscuits were very fluffy and complimented whatever we had added to them. My sausage gravy and biscuits was oniony and very savory without being too salty. The French toast biscuits were good and the plate was cleaned. The Lola disappeared in short order too. Ordering the Lola with syrup on the side makes for a tidier dining experience, fyi. The ambience was very chill despite the pea-sized armageddon happening outside. If anything, the meal took our minds off what was going on elsewhere. The only downside is that the meals are big portions, so come hungry!
Listen anyone that knows me already knows I LOVE biscuits. I'm also extra particular lol they must be soft, tasty and have a bit of a crunch. This place really delivered on all that. The flavor of the biscuits was soo damn good! I wanted another. I wish this place was close enough for me to go on a random weekend. Sadly I don't live in Colorado so I'll have to wait until I get my next fix! Lol the place has a pool tale which I thought was cool. It's a bit small so come early or get on the waitlist. Also you can pick and refill your own mug! They have syrups and different creamers for you to create own concoction. The coffee however was cold.... Seems like the type of thermos they keep it in doesn't keep the coffee hot enough. They did bring out a fresh one but that was luke warm so when you add your creamer it's now cold. On a bright side they have great mimosas which is what I had instead of the coffee!
Finally got to check out this place. It's located in a food hall in an old airplane hanger. Super dope vibe, other great places to eat and shops there as well. They had 2 people call in sick but service was still fast, friendly and great! Tried the shrimps and grits over a biscuit and the pot pie biscuit. Both were tasty, the biscuits are yummy, moist & fluffy. Sweet tea was also nice!
Returned to this location and it still continues to hold up. The staff were friendly, checked in on us - and wanted us to have a great experience - and we did! The food was amazing! Everything was flavorful, and their portions were huge - which is great because you get your money's worth! The place was clean, they have music going - and it's comfortable overall! Definitely a must go to when you have people in town!

I stopped by Denver Biscuit Company because of the rave reviews on Yelp and I can say that it is definitely worth the hype...it was so good we actually came twice during our 4 day Denver trip. Over the 2 days, we ordered the Winona (twice), biscuit pot pie, the tomahawk, and fries. All of these were sooooo delicious! They're known for their biscuits and I can definitely see why but the combination of flavors for everything also needs to be recognized as well. Also, the fries were some of the best waffle fries I've had. They have unique hot sauces here too which is a +1 in my book. I heard that there's usually a wait here, but during the times I came, there was no wait and I was seated immediately. Service here is super friendly and our server went out of her way to make a lot conversation with us. The ambiance here is casual.

We placed a to-go order shortly after arriving in Denver and tried a variety of their biscuit sandwiches, including the Bacon, Egg & Cheese, Chicken Honey Butter Biscuit, The Dahlia, and the Ham, Egg & Cheese. My favorite was the Chicken Honey Butter Biscuit with its perfectly crispy chicken, but honestly, every sandwich was delicious. We decided to order it for pick up since I know this place is also busy, and it was still great by the time we got back to our Airbnb. One biscuit sandwich is good enough to share. They are huge. We ordered the following biscuit sandwiches. The Franklin- Buttermilk fried chicken with bacon and cheddar cheese smothered in house sausage gravy. This was very hearty and delicious. Visiting from out of town. Novel idea to use biscuits as burger buns that don't disappoint. I got The Beeler sandwich. It was definitely worth it and was quite large. My kids aren't very sophisticated so they just got a biscuit, hash brown, and fruit. They enjoyed each part of the meal and the hash browns were delicious! We came middle of the week during the daytime so there was no wait for a table and service was excellent. I believe they had a special for half off meals for my kids which was also awesome. read more

Best food we had in Denver!! Colorado is just so beautiful. On the way back to the airport we took a detour to eat here and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. Waitress was so kind and patient. We had a large group and she was very attentive! Highly recommend this place! read more
A friend of mine suggested we meet here for brunch. I thought, "biscuits? How many dishes could they make with biscuits besides topping it with gravy?" Jokes on me. They have an entire menu revolving around biscuits and every item sounded enticing. I got the K-Mack sandwich: Korean fried chicken topped with pickled radishes, slaw, green onions and sesame mayo. While it isn't a typical breakfast, I loved every single bite. It was an incredible medley of fresh, vibrant flavors. The restaurant was pretty quiet on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away and our server Billy was very attentive. A quirky and much-appreciated addition: they have a DIY coffee bar. Instead of waiting for the waitstaff to refill your coffee, you can refill as often as you like. There was an abundance of syrups and such to add to your coffee. read more

Went there bc I had heard so much about DBC so had to make a stop on our visit to Denver. We went to the one at Stanley Market. It was very busy on a Saturday at 11am. After a 45min wait we got a table. The Nashville chicken was thin and dry and wasn't spicy as advertised. The biscuit was good but nothing great. All in all too much hype and not much soul. read more

Came here for lunch around noon before heading over to the nearby park to explore the museums. There was a massive wait outside, but luckily, I was a solo traveler, so I was able to be seated at the bar, squeezed in between two parties. Luckily they made space for me. Sitting at the bar was nice because I got to watch everybody make drinks and walked around. The vibe of the store is lively. Instead of getting my own coffee, I decided to go for a Bloody Mary. They have seasonal drinks, and it was hard to choose between that and the pumpkin pie espresso martini. I wish I got a second drink, but I felt faded after the Bloody Mary LOL. The person next to me ordered one as well after he saw me order. My idea of a biscuit is the one from KFC: thick, dense, and hard on the outside. thus, I did not want a sandwich. It was hard to pick between a sandwich or just biscuits and gravy because the sandwiches looked beautiful. Looking back, when the biscuits came out, they were actually a lot softer than I anticipated! I asked for half vegetarian gravy in half sausage gravy. Personally I liked the sausage gravy better. The vegetarian mushroom gravy had a strong mushroom taste. This was delicious, some of the best biscuits I have ever had. I thought I could keep going, but I got full after just one biscuit. If I could come back, I would bring friends and come earlier so that I could beat the long wait. I would love to try a sandwich. It's clear of why people love this spot so much. Although I don't gravitate towards heavy American food, this spot deserves its reputation for its delicious biscuits! read more

Best place for biscuits in Denver. I stopped during my last day in Denver on my way to the farmers market (a 12-15 nice walk with vintage shops!) and the food was amazing! The biscuits are big and dense with the right ingredients making them a perfect match with the honey butter. The bacon was really good, the eggs were okay, maybe a little more salt/seasoning, but not bad. Coffee was good, essentially since it's not a coffee shop. The service was good, very attentive and knowledgeable. I'll definitely go back next time I visit Denver. read more

Service was nice and friendly. The location is really cute. They already decorated for Christmas. The Franklin was delicious. It was probably our favorite. The Winona was good. But our favorite was the Franklin. The seasoned hash browns were delicious. Not pictured but their coffee is delicious. I love that it's self serve. The giant cinnamon roll was really good except for the side pieces that were a little hard. But the inside was 10/10 and the frosted tasted sooo good. This is definitely a must try if you're in the area. read more

My best friend and I went here since she's in town, and I wanted her to have the Denver experience. The biscuits are amazing! They taste so fresh. The bottomless coffee bar is adorable and has plenty of sweeteners. The hot chicken was delicious and warm and couldn't be better. The house made ranch was a great bonus, too. A solid brunch experience. We each had a biscuit breakfast place with fried chicken. The chicken was fried well, it was a chicken cutlet so it read a bit dry but was tasty! The eggs were a little sus. I asked for soft scramble but I think they use powder eggs(?) so I didn't get soft scramble. I'm not sure if it was powdered eggs but they didn't taste like regular eggs at all. A bit odd. The biscuit was the best thing on the plate so it lived up to it's name. Food - I ordered the biscuit pot pie, Franklin, and mchashbrowns. Food was heavy but good. I honestly could only have a few bites of everything. 3.7/5. There was a hair that I found in my pot pie but the staff was super nice and immediately made me a new one. Additionally, staff comped my food. Staff - super nice and friendly. Server brought us additional water on a hot day. Ambiance - restaurant theme is on point. read more
OMG Denver Biscuit Company (also falls under the name of Atomic Cowboy) is absolutely fantastic! Their biscuits are some of the butteriest, moistest, flakiest biscuits I've ever had! I'm glad there are a handful of DBC locations throughout the city of Denver so the wealth is well spread. We came here for breakfast and I like that this DBC in particular is housed in the same space as two other restaurants, so that there's food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a wide variety of it all as well. Given that it was breakfast though, we all ordered the biscuits and what a hearty breakfast it was! These biscuits are massive - frankly, everything here comes in massive proportions including the largest cinnamon roll I've ever seen! Not only are the biscuits massive, but they're essentially sandwiches and come piled on with a ton of ingredients as well! I ordered the K-Mack biscuit sandwich, which had a Korean spin on all of it. It was Korean fried buttermilk chicken (so tender and flavorful!), toasted sesame seeds, sesame mayo, pickled daikon (the perfect burst of tart freshness - could've done with even more given how heavy all the other ingredients are), shredded cabbage, and green onions. The chicken was perfect, the biscuit was perfect, my belly was wildly happy! On top of it all, I added a side of McHashbrowns because I had to try what these were, given that I do really enjoy the McDonald's hashbrowns. These ended up being some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. Twice the thickness of a McDonald's hashbrown and in a triangle shape, perfectly crispy on the outside and potato-y on the inside! It was way too much food and easily split into two full meals, but it was so worth it! The giant biscuit cinnamon roll that my friends and I ordered was so good as well. Like I said earlier in this review, it was truly massive and we also added the option of the bacon bits on top because we wanted to try that out. The result was delicious - salty and sweet! And even among the three of us, we couldn't finish the cinnamon roll given that we each had ordered biscuit sandwiches as well. We all ended up taking leftovers home for another meal in addition to not even being hungry by the time dinner rolled around that same day, even after a ton of hiking and exploring! Denver Biscuit Co. is worth all of it and then some! You won't regret coming here and are sure to leave SUPER satisfied! read more

One of my coworkers suggested this place and boy my husband and I were not disappointed. It's interesting as it's three businesses in one restaurant, they are all owned by the same person I believe. If you love chicken biscuits, this place is your go to. They have plenty of places around the Denver area! read more
