I came here for breakfast with my mom since they were right next to our hotel. We got seated immediately even though the place was busy. I ordered the honey jalapeno slam but replaced the pancakes with a waffle. It came with the waffle, 2 eggs your way, 2 sausages, and 2 honey jalapeno bacon strips. The bacon strips were a nice surprise! Good job trying to jazz up the menu a bit. The bacon was crispy and had a light honey jalapeno flavor. It had slight heat but was definitely something everyone could probably eat. It's not the best jalapeno bacon I've ever had, but very good effort. I would definitely replace my regular bacon for it. The waffle was fluffy wih a nice crispy crust, which is my favorite way to eat them. Egg whites and sausages were good but nothing special. My mom had the senior veggie omelette. It came with a bowl of fruit and an English muffin. The veggies in her omelette looked really fresh and she said it was good. The fruit was definitely fresh as well. Worst dining experience in a long time! We were shopping in the Foothills and decided to eat at Denny's as we hadn't tried it, yet. Bad idea! There was almost no one there, yet the "hostess" was sullen and unfriendly. She seated us right next to the only other people in the restaurant. She came back 10 minutes later to take our orders. We waited for 50 minutes to receive our order. The food was overcooked and cold. The hash browns were cooked in some cheap, gross oil. My friends bread was stale. Her fried chicken was a deep, deep brown- so overcooked she could only eat the very center. A passing waitress had to be asked to bring us refills. She didn't. Another waitress was asked, but she brought only the tea (10 minutes later) but no refill for the water. We were there for a total of one hour and 40 minutes! It was awful! Food and service this bad should not have to be paid for in full. Denny's employees really take the 'don't work too hard' mantra to heart. read more

Francisco the restaurant manager at Denny's here on Yuma 16th St is a great manager! Though it was a bit rough in the beginning he did a good job in managing a calm atmosphere. We were being told to wait outside but it was uncomfortably warm and politely refused as we kept being pushed he stepped in and warned his employee to allow us to wait inside. He did amazing in taking our order and making sure everything came out well. He is much appreciated! We definitely need more people like him in customer service. Also our server Alexis is soooo sweet! She was super quick, helpful and all around the best server by far!! She was smiley bubbly and brought exactly what we needed when we needed it! read more

I had a late breakfast and was waited on by Marcie. While I always get good food and service at this location, Marcie was especially courteous, friendly, efficient, and eager to give a positive experience. My Senior Omelet was made exactly as requested, the sides were fresh fruit and a gluten-free English muffin, all of which were served hot, and Marcie even let me take my iced tea "to go" after I finished. This location is lucky to have Marcie on staff and should be sure to treat her well. read more

Do not eat here unless you want to wait 50 minutes for food. My fiancé and I have been waiting to be served our food for 50 minutes now. We saw people come in and get served and ate and left. I love Dennys food most of it is good and consistent the place is always clean and city to city it is the same so you don't know what your waiter is going to look like but you know what the food is going to look like place is clean parking lot is kind of big. We always decide to go to Denny's because of their delicious coffee, today we had our coffee and it was water down, we let our server Brian know and he made a new fresh pot for us. Unfortunately it still tasted the same and he noticed and he let us know he was going to try one more time to ensure we had our delicious coffee and the third time we did. For many other people they might think oh the coffee should of been good the first time but for us it was more of how our server Brian went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. We stayed nearby so we went here for breakfast. We were seated promptly. The place seemed busy but the host said it was average, nothing like when they get slammed. Still it took a while till our wait person showed up. We were ready and we ordered as soon as she came. Breakfast showed up in a reasonable time. But everything was cold. Cold oatmeal - yuk. My wife had cold scrambled eggs and cold English muffins. I don't send food back - they spit on it and make you wait longer. So we just ate what we could stomach, paid and left. Well I came last week ordered the French toast slam. It was good but the eggs were bad they smell like they cooked it in fish oil. That was my only problem and the service was great the French toast was good the sausage was a little cold but the eggs the eggs smelled really bad.. My overall experience was great other than the eggs. This time I got the chicken strip dinner.. Ordered food for mobile pick up. Says to call the number and they will bring it out to you, which we did, but there was no answer for over 5 minutes on the phone. Finally we went inside to get the food. The first person told us it wasn't ready, the second guy said it was all right here. The whole point was MOBILE pick up, to pick up in the car so we don't have to get out. What's the point if they don't answer the phone when we get there. This is the second bad experience we have had at this location. The last time we went to dine in and ir took over an hour to get our food. 2 plates of food. Regular breakfast items. Eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Shouldnt have taken so long. I understand we are going through a pandemic, but thats not an excuse. Other places have it together. Dennys needs to step it up. If I could give no stars I would. First off we came in and a waiter sat us on tables where little black bugs were present. We had to move ourselves to other tables. Second they took forever to come around to take orders, the waitress came and asked what drinks we wanted. She then took forever to bring drinks. She left and came back(took forever) and took our orders. It took more than 30 minutes to get our food! (I was timing her) then she comes plate by plate, she brought my daughters soup and by the time she was done with soup... here comes another plate and on. We were a party of 9. Food was cold. Slow cooked pork is what I always ask at Denny's everywhere, so I know what to expect, my goshhhh first they didn't have the brown gravy and asked if they can give me the white one, I said ok. But when I got my plate the portions were superrrr small dry and cold. She kept forgetting for things that we asked. My hubbys plate was served so small it looked like it was a plate for a small kid, it was more plate than food lol. One of my brothers salad was so plain, small served and full of dressing. My other brother asked for celery for his dry wings and they didn't have any nor they offered anything else to accompany it. My kids plates.... oh why go there. But one of them got her grapes and 20 minutes later she got her dry cold corn dogs. We were just poorly served. There was separate checks and she kept messing up and coming back to ask same questions, in the end we just got up and paid up in the cashier cause no one would come, did I mention they didn't even ask if we wanted dessert? Nope. I would've still said no but u expect an attentive waitress. My hubby got coffee and she never bothered to come ask if he wanted more. She was so careless about our tables but freakin smart money hungry when charging us. She didn't even give us the option to tip her the way she served us. She included the tip upon paying! Same happened to my brothers check! She added 18 PERCENT!! We didn't notice till we were on the road!!!! Unreal. Also when we paid there was a skanky friend of them all over the kitchen and all over the working space with her curly hair flying all over the kitchen, so unprofessional and skanky looking. She saw me staring at her she stopped and went to her table to keep sucking on her shake. The waitress that "took care of us, I mean of our money" is a Latina looking woman with lots of tattoos on her arms and hands, not sure if they were real cuz It looked like henna tattoos. Her service was a whole definition of trash and whose hiring these bitches? Dam thieves. Don't go here! Save yourself big trouble and head to the next Denny's!!! Good breakfasts 24 hours a day. Nice friendly place. Clean and convenient to Motel 6 in Yuma. Very nice staff.

Food is usually good. Service is usually slow. It seems like they don't have enough staff on. It takes a while to get drink refills.

Service was atrocious. Greeted well enough, seated promptly and quickly abandoned, ignored and forgotten. We were able to look over the entire menu multiple times, and never even approached for drinks. We had enough time to then scan our apps for another restaurant and headed out. read more
