I really enjoyed the seating here since it wasn't cramped with so many tables. I came here with my sister to enjoy a meal out and the food is fresh. They have a great selection on their menu too. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Haven't been here in like forever and I have to say was pretty happy with my lunch. I had the triple cheeseburger with seasoned fries. My wife had a simple breakfast. My burger was meaty and had a good flavor. The fries hot and crispy. The breakfast was satisfying to my wife. Our server was nice and friendly. She always had our drinks topped off. The price was right on point it was around $15 for mine and about $7 for breakfast. So I think I'll be back for another burger. It had an easy going music and was too loud.

Cam hungry, left full without spending a bunch of money. It's clean and easy to get in and out of. Thanks Berniece for the excellent service!

I came to this Denny's location one Saturday evening, after concluding my winter getaway. I had just crossed the border at San Luis, and I had a five-hour drive ahead of me. I was famished, so here I came to eat and have coffee. I walked in, and was immediately seated. I ordered some hot coffee and a glass of water. I went with the grilled salmon, with brown rice and brocolli. My food was delicious as it was healthy. The coffee was smooth, yet packed a good amount of caffeine to keep me going the five hours of driving I had ahead of me. The waiter was very attentive, friendly, and made sure I was taken cared of. This restaurant is clean and efficiently run. The other patrons were pleasant locals, and everyone here was polite. This is honestly one of the better Denny's locations that I've been to. I hope some locations back home in LA take notes.

The double Bourbon Bacon Burger, seasoned fries and chocolate milkshake. All damn good.

I went to Denny's at 8:00 at night by myself and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't eaten at a Denny's in a minute. I had been craving a good hamburger and I ordered the bourbon burger double patty with seasoned fries and a chocolate milkshake. The burger arrived and it was huge and loaded. It was excellent and I couldn't finish it. The fries were good and similar to Rallies. The milkshake came in a big metal cup like the ol days. The service was good and the place and bathroom were clean. I'll be back to this Denny's. Good job.

I wish it was sausage gravy but it is just a good white gravy no sausage. But you can get some on the side. It's huge and we all shared from it. The chicken fried steak was good n crispy. I'll definitely go back when I am in Yuma. Pretty big portions too.

It was another 15 minutes before the "fish and chips "was brought to the table.. having replaced the french fries with a cup of chili, I checked it to see if it was hot it was!!! Was the coleslaw called?? it was!!! But as I looked at the three planks of fish, my heart sink. Greasy glisten of the tempera like batter concerned me.. the batter was tough and I was unable to cut it with a fork. The tartar sauce was tasty and with a squeeze of lemon on the fish I was delighted to finally have food. I was only able to eat halfway through the first piece of fish before I started peeling away the batter once all three were released from their tough greasy death shrouds... I was able to enjoy about three ounces of fish! The server was attentive and offered a fresh decaf coffee cup to go! I have no idea what was going on at Black Bear last night . Absolutely not what we have experienced previously. The chili was spicy. The coleslaw was fresh.. the 1st cup of decaf was deplorable! Better days ahead I'm hoping !

But what you'll find is a 5 star restaurant once you step inside. They have patio dining as well as tables inside. Each meal is prepared and plated with culinary skill. On this day, I had the curry shrimp and veggies. A sort of deconstructed Thai yellow curry dish. The plating made all the difference. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.

We are new to Yuma and took…read moreour new neighbors out to dinner to get to know them better and thank them for all their recent help. There were 4 of us. The restaurant is clean and has a nice feel. I gave the girl who seated us my credit card and asked her to charge us as it was our treat. (At the end of our dinner, our waitress handed our neighbors the bill with our credit card.... It was uncomfortable and awkward). We were given each a slice of bread (very good). We each ordered a cocktail and chatted for a bit. We ordered the following: a seafood gumbo, fettuccine seafood Alfredo, pesto pasta, and a pesto pasta with shrimp, a Cesar salad and a spinach salad. It took awhile to get our food. The spinach salad was good. I would have it again. We ate and talked more. Paid our bill and left. The server delivered two plates of pesto pasta which shrimp although we only ordered one with shrimp. Our friend said he'd keep it. My complaint: the pesto pasta was terrible, and I don't say that lightly. It was barely warm, dry with the pesto sauce as if it had been re-warmed, the shrimp was almost too salted to eat (and I like salt), and there was a small pile of veggies on top of it all to give it color but even these were wilted and looked/tasted old. The seafood gumbo and the seafood fettuccine were both liked and seemed freshly put together. Now-I really wanted to say something but chose not to because we were just meeting our new neighbors and didn't want to complain about the meal in front of them. But, when we got into the car-our new friends commented that his pesto pasta was not warm and really not good at all. His comment lead to my review. Two of us had the same opinion. The dinner was good, but nothing was great. River City Grill wasn't a gem of a place tonight. We most likely won't give it another try and I doubt our neighbors will be back.

Yep it's back by popular demand but it's now called egg in a nest. What the heck? Anyway every one ordered something different and we ate to our hearts content and had no complaints whatsoever about the food, the ambiance or the cleanliness. Chicken fried chicken dinner evaporated from his plate. The burger and onion petals seemed to have delighted the nephew. One of the ladies in our party seemed happy with her chicken strips, which were more than abundant! Another ordered a diet plate of some sort with cottage cheese and sliced tomatoes and was especially happy. A new item on the menu appealed to another. Louisiana shrimp skillet. Was flavorful, and those who tasted the nice portion of shrimp agreed that it was surprisingly delicious. The side, dishes of okra, and greens are always favorites. All of us commented on the new menu. Although we missed the old format, this one is easier to hold, and the print is bold enough that you're not needing to use your flashlight if you're older like we are. We are thankful that the menu has the old favorites, something new and that Cracker Barrel values its customers. It's such a nice thing to be able to travel and dine at any location and feel like your unfamiliar surroundings. But I wonder why is that there are so many locals who freely admit that they have never yet dined here? One maintenance issue... the latch on the ladies handicap stall door is STILL needing to be fixed! One issue with our visit. Not once were we offered refills on beverages.

I've only ever passed through Yuma traveling around the Southwest, but never stopped to check it…read moreout. I've definitely been missing out. Prison Hill is the classic brewery serving a great variety of beers and food. Lineup for the night: Chango Malo (stout), Crimin Ale (cream ale), Peanut Butter Stout. Each beer was phenomenal in mouth feel as I like the richer, creamier beers. Chango malo had a lovely cocoa flavor. Peanut Butter stout actually tasted like peanut butter without being offensive. You can taste the peanuts behind the butter. The Crimin ale had a good mouth feel but pro tip - don't have a lighter beer between two heavier ones with spicy food. It gets a bit overpowered. On the topic of food, I had the Wrecker sandwich. Soft roll, smoked meat, and crunchy slaw made for a good dichotomy of texture in the sandwich. When you see smoke rings in a bbq sandwich, you know you're eating some primo shit. I'm not a big fan of spicy though but this was the right amount between the slaw and the fresh jalapeños. I felt like deviating from the usual burger and it was a good choice. Looking around at some of the other plates, I don't think I couldve gone wrong. Solid venue, good food, good beer, great staff. Usually I'm not into chains and handcuffs but if it means ending up at Prison Hill, lock me up baby.
