Some of us went through the drive thru for a quick snack attack of cones; 4 Orange dipped and 1 Sprinkled, to be exact. Mine had a weird look to it but no matter; I had it thrown into a cup and it went down just the same. The service was as quick as it could be with reduced staff. Girl kept coming outside to constantly get more and more money from us saying she said the wrong number. Then when we came up to the window and got the receipt it had addons we didn't order. They fixed it gave us the change then slammed the window in our face. Asked for ranch cause they didn't give us any with the poppers and they wanted to charge for it. No byes or thankyou have a good days were given. Definitely need better customer service training. read more

Placed and order Friday afternoon in the drive through. I ordered the $15 meal. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to large fries, yes I do thank you, and then I finished my order of food with 2 shakes and 2 rootbeer floats because the car in front of me got a root beer float because it's the Friday special for $3 and it sounded good. She says, I will have the total at the windows, I say ok. I got food and checked to see it it was all there because the few trips they have always forgotten something. All the food was there but the fries seemed to be the same size. I asked if these were a large fry that I paid extra, she stumbled her words and said yes. I said ok. She hands me 2 rootbeer floats and one shake and said have a good day and slams the windows closed as I started to say wait. I sat there for a minute, she open the windows, I said what about my other shake? She says, I got you a strawberry shake, I said I know, but what about the reeses shake i paid for on my receipt. She stumbled her words again and says let me get that for you. I get the shake and asked isnt the rootbeer float a special on Friday's for $3?​ Why was i charged $4.08 each for a $3 friday special. She stumbed out some words that was not making sense and i said nevermind and left. I guess only the elite people get the special and dont ask all these questions about my order if all its going to do is mess it up. Now fastfood workers want more money for their job that they cannot do. What is the world coming to. I guess i will drive all the way across town to go to the original weinerschnitzel. This was excellent fast food ! A combination of Two old school fast food joints DerWeinerschnitzel & Tastee Freeze menu items makes for a value priced hot dog and buger buffet! All the menu options are fairly inexpensive.... Even a deluxe "polish sandwich" with a grilled sausage& deli pickle on rye is less than 4 bucks . The corn dog was deep Fried , cooked to order , therefore, basically perfect, & crunchy. We also tried pthe burgers .... I had a "deluxe burger",,,, so many fresh veggies for the under $2,price . My hubby ordered a "garbage burger" & really enjoyed it . The combination of chili cheese & French fries as a topping was very savory and satisfying. Their chili has great flavor. The cashier was also exceptionally friendly & the dining room was very clean . We choose to eat on their covered and wind sheltered patio . This would be a great stop for anyone traveling with PETS because of that convenient semi outdoor dining shelter . We agreed that coming here anytime would be an affordable treat. read more

So we googled somewhere open to eat tonight and this place showed up. Stating it closed at midnight and so we rolled our bobtail rig there. Walked up to the door and the doors were locked :-(. Hours for the dining room close at 2300. Girl cleaning the floors said we're closed inside but the drive thru was open. So I motioned her asking if we could walk up to the drive thru and she said yeah. We walked to the drive thru after looking at the menu and once I got her attention she motioned us towards the front and said we could come on inside. So we were able to go inside the closed store and order our food tonight outta the cool air!!! We ordered about $40 and some so worth of food and let me tell ya it was a crazy order but the order was PERFECT!!! The food was exactly how we wanted, what we wanted and the size we wanted. I also noticed the girl working the front check every single item off the screen and made sure it was in the bag before she handed us our food. Needless to say BEST "Fast Food Experience and service ever" !!!! THANK YOU BURGER STAND !!! It would be a zero if you had one they give the worst service and give you the worst food. They were so rude when I told the manager that she forgot the meat on my hamburger she started to yell at me and tell me off I have proof of the food and she refused to fix it and refused to give me my money back. She looked like if she was on drugs just looking at her eyes. Wow they are a bunch of ripoffs. I took my kids and they had to see this. This place is not for families and kids. They were cussing and yelling at me when all I wanted to do is enjoy me meal with my kids. I do not recommend this place at all. I am so mad and frustrated with what happened. read more

i want to say this first. I gave this place a couple tries before writing this review. The first time the workers took FOREVER while i was at the drive thru, they were just standing there and talking while i was looking at the waiting for my order. There dip cones suck. They dont even dip the cone all the way to the bottom and the ice cream end up melting! The second time i came here i ordered another dipped cone, which it was a mistake. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and only got the sandwich instead of the combo! The lady didn't even ask if i wanted the sandwich or combo and when i told her about it she said that I didn't tell her. It's your job to freaking ask what i want not mine. Horrendous. My wife and I went here New Year's Day for the first time ever. First of all, ordering from the drive-thru requires a degree in linguistics. Normally, I'd chalk it up to an inexperienced worker, but having talked to 2 different employees, I realized they don't take the care in training their employees. But the idiocy has only begun, as we waited for 5 minutes AT THE WINDOW, before ANY employee even addressed us. Which--by the way--was in the form of handing us the order that the car BEHIND us in line had ordered. We told them we hadn't paid yet and that this wasn't our order. we handed the bags back, and FINALLY, after another 7 minutes, we got our CORRECT order and left. Only to discover that the burger patties were half-thawed and the fries were room-temp, unsalted, and limp as a 68 year old man. read more

I stopped going to the one in El Centro because the manager. Vicki, is rude, obnoxious, and seems to enjoy belittling her employees and I have even seen her cuss out a customer.
