Loved this restaurant as it was nicely laid out with lots of seating. They even had yummy pies to make you start thinking of dessert. The menu is amazing. There are lots of great food items and most items are available no matter the time of day except for the baked potato, of course. We were seated right away, received menus and our drinks. Food was fast in coming. Food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed. The only hang-up was getting the server back to the table either for refills on the drinks or bringing the check. We ate here about 3 years ago and I'm happy to announce the food is still good! We ordered a house salad, calamari, and fish and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly! I love the seasoned fries, and the fish was crispy with the coating staying in tact. Our server, Michelle, was prompt and conscientious. My brother has dairy allergy & they have always been helpful in accommodating him. Today's meals were BAD. I had meatloaf with brown gravy. I've never had meatloaf cut so thin. It was way to salty and the gravy was worse. Do not, I repeat, not order this. I also had split pea soup it was okay. My husband had chicken fried steak. Worst he's ever had, the breading was crispy and about a half an inch thick on both sides while the steak was about a quarter inch thick, grisly and flavorless. So all in all we paid $46 with tip for lettuce (salad) and french fries. Their breakfasts are normally pretty good. We love our Sundays at Daybreakers. We usually went to the Daybreakers 2 until it closed. Jill and Angela are the best waitresses/servers and take such good care of us. Upon reviewing the bill with obnoxious young female at cash register, she said NO $6.00. I ordered biscuits and gravy, the bread was huge and not tasty by itself and they do not give you enough gravy to accommodate the amount of bread.
