hot Pistachio latte

It's like hole in the wall type of coffee place in Yuma. I want to try locals and checked on this one. Going back to San Diego from Scottsdale, AZ, the best place for a rest. The place is clean, charming and the staff is very nice. He made the coffee with passion not like the Keurig-type coffee. I ordered the hot Pistachio latte and my husband hot Chai Tea. Not sweet... We both like what we ordered.... and the waffle... awesome!!! Highly recommended if in case you'll be around this town.

Innovative blend of two very different restaurants. This will be to Yumas benefit! A Bistro meets Baja Cuisine! Now open at 6 am for breakfast. A place for good food. It's been ages since I dined at The Press... the decor has changed. I remember well the mint infused cold pea soup I had last time! Today... Breakfast. avocado toast. ($8.00) the smashed avocado Feta cherry tomato's on toasted focaccia triangles. It was filling. Everyone else 4 customers were ordering iced Mexican Hot Cocoa. It must be yummy!! For me I was craving just a cup of coffee. The only way to achieve this was by opting for the Americano. Gulp ($6.00) Wait wait... hold the press... (haha) they do have a refillable Mug of coffee for ($4.00) that's a bit better considering it's likely to be made with the same roast as their espresso beverages. My Americano was good. However with no Whole Cream available Half and half had to suffice! I guess this explains why they do not serve a Cafe Breve. :( If you serve it we will order it). At the least you have whip it up as a topping for that delicious Mexican hot cocoa and other delicious sweet beverages and desserts! The avocado toast was tangy. A vinegary flavor permeated every bite. It was not in the herbed olive oil drizzle on the plate, and it was not the feta which I love. Hmmmm. The gentleman (perhaps Andrew whose name appeared on the receipt) who took my order took a few precious moments to secure my return by sharing which menu item Best represents his vision of Baja Cuisine! For this reason I look forward to coming back! The menus of the Baja Viches and The Press will fuse! I see many Tortas being served on the traditional Focaccia of The Press. The Hispanic influence on the Bistro cuisine is inevitable! It's liable to become a Fusion no one could have invisioned!

I've visited Yuma a handful of times and just heard of this place on my last visit, upset I didn't visit sooner! The have vegan options! The freeze isn't vegan but the owner made it vegan friendly for me, didn't know until he asked me about it. And the blueberry was delicious! (Visited last year and I'm trying to remember everything). And the sandwich is one of the best I've had! I remember trying to find another sandwich like this for a few months. The inside was quiet and clean, plenty of tables and chairs. Loved the decor and the bathrooms were clean. Don't know when is the next time I'll visit Yuma but this this place would be the first restaurant I will visit!

The Press Cafe did not disappoint, I was in the Yuma area and was craving Bisciuts and Gravy for breafast and obvioulsy I searched on my Yelp app and this place showed up. You order at the counter and they will bring your food to the table, I came at a very slow hour, 11:00 AM, only 3 othe rtables in the whole restaurant and since I was on a work trip it was perfect for me. The do have WiFi and I was able to get some work done while having some great coffee and food. I ordered the Biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage, and it was very yummy. The coffee was excellent, they have a self serve station for coffee, Iced Tea and water, so unlilited refills. The ambiance is Cafe Quiet, nothing too loud. Decore is great! The girl behind the register was super nice and helpful. they seem to have alot thingd on their menu and some great specials, the sandwiches looked mazing, I will definately be coming back next time am in town. Cheers!

You order first at the counter. Then sit down. It's super quiet in here and can hear other peoples conversations. Self serve area to get your own water, napkins, condiments. I ordered The Breakfast Burrito and half an order of biscuit and gravy. The burrito has three eggs, shredded meat, avocado and cheese. They press the burrito so it has these grill marks. Gives a bit of crunchiness. The sauce is a house made spicy sauce but it wasn't spicy to me. Good sauce though, so ask for extra. The gravy with sausage was really good but the biscuits could have been better. It wasn't soft or moist. I got the Mayan freeze tea. When you get the blended ice version, it's sweeter and they add whip cream. It has a chocolate earthy taste and 1.5mg caffeine.

Always amazing!! There food is memorable and beyond amazing. The breakfast options are all very different than the usual traditional breakfast. I love their rising sun breakfast, brisket and shrimp breakfast burrito, waffles and gravy with side of pork belly. My favorite coffee is the Mexican Mocha. The ambience of the place is wonderful very relaxing they have a wonderful playlist.

Order here.

So much potential! Most reviews I had seen were for breakfast items. The Salad was awesome. The soup should have been. This Chilled Mint Soup excited me on the special board. I should have gone with my first choice, the Roasted Tomato. Sadly the beautiful green soup overtly peppery and had a strange grainy texture. Fresh home made bread is a good thing of preparation doesn't toughen it as the top to my sandwich was. The sandwich was missing two ingredients listed in its description. It is possible that the onions were in fact present just cooked down in the caramelization process to a vague memory. I'll not lose hope, afterall, I do believe The Press has merit! I'll be happy to find reasons to Love and recommend it abundantly!

Simply an amazing sandwich place... had some wonderful food in Yuma AZ !! We had their Imperial and sandwiches. The prices were nominal and the quality and quantity were ..... aaaaa lot !!! I would definitely comeback here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Melt with sun dried tomatoes instead of fresh and added mushrooms. 10/10

I don't know how I've gone so long without reviewing this place. I seriously can't say enough good things. Food is always delicious, restaurant is always clean, service is always amazing no matter who is working. It's nearly impossible not to strike up a conversation with the owner if he's there when you come in. He's so personable and we always have good conversation. At this point we've had almost every sandwich here and you really can't go wrong. As someone who is currently pregnant and has a hard time eating out I love that they let me customize it to my liking and also let me try the soups or gravy before ordering so I can make sure I can eat it.

A little off the beaten path but worth the couple extra minutes when leaving the freeway. Small, modest, but delicious and fresh. Worth it.

Passing through Yuma and craving a deli sandwich. Found JT BROS and am still thinking about the…read moresandwich a week later! They serve a healthy menu with a variety of options sandwiches/wraps, breakfast options, vegan, kids menu, smoothies, lemonade, coffees, alcohol (after 4pm) etc. I ordered a BALT sandwich meal combo--included fries or chips + lemonade (w/flavor options). No big deal, I thought. But the sandwich was served up on fresh sourdough and the bacon was chopped up into tiny pieces so it was so easy to eat without tugging, and served with avocado slices, tomato, lettuce and the right amount of mayo ratio (which was important). The homemade lemonade was a treat. And I had the garlic fries--delicious! As mentioned, I'm still thinking about how good that sandwich was. The place isn't huge but they seat a lot of people. Try this sandwich shop--it will not disappoint!

The place is in an unassuming location, but as soon as you go through the door it's much nicer inside. We received an immediate friendly greeting but hadn't studied the menu enough to know just what we wanted. I decided on the Cuban and upgrade to fries option. Workmate ordered the chicken club with truffle fry upgrade. 2 sandos with fries and one canned soda.. $45. Not inexpensive so it'd better be fantastic and of decent proportions. Well it was neither. The bread was good but the inside of the sandwich was just weird. For me at least, it just didn't work. The meat was room temp at best and seemed a little past its prime. For the price point I feel it was lacking a proper amount of cheese, and could have had more pickle. While I've never seen tomatoes on a Cuban before, they didn't add or detract from the sandwich itself. The concept on the fries is great! Hand cut, I'm pretty sure, thick wedge style fries. I tried the workmate upgraded truff/parmesan fries and they were good too but I'm not on the truffle bandwagon like everyone else so the $4 option doesn't make sense. I feel that I paid too much for disappointing food. I most likely won't return but I do think I had great service and the employees there want to make sure you're happy with your service.

But what you'll find is a 5 star restaurant once you step inside. They have patio dining as well as tables inside. Each meal is prepared and plated with culinary skill. On this day, I had the curry shrimp and veggies. A sort of deconstructed Thai yellow curry dish. The plating made all the difference. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.
