Loved stopping in here before church. We were in and out in minutes. I forgot to snag a pic of our beverage, but we had "the Supreme." I loved it and my boyfriend wasn't a fan, but drank it all! He isn't a huge ginger fan, so that is on him. I love my vegan brownie that we found near the counter. I would definitely return and either get the same drink or try something new!

The "açaí bowl" is the worst I've had. The consistency was watery and not firm like other açaí bowls I've had. What I did like is that they out granola on the bottom and top. Go try the açaí bowl at Cafecito and tell me I'm wrong.

Went this morning about 11AM and it was fairly busy with for awhile only 1 girl working so things were taking awhile. She had darker hair and didn't seem very friendly at all. It was my first time and my grandmothers first time there and no help offered so didn't seem very pleasant. Finally another worker with blonde hair came out and she was just as rude. No smiles from either girls. It took about 15-20 minutes to receive 3 smoothies, I asked for 1 of them to be made later since it was to go and it was made right away and when I asked for it to be put it in a freezer I seemed to be a burden. When I had questions I was looked at and ignored for a bit. My grandma liked her PB & J. The kiwi strawberry was ok and my grandpa said the squeezed didn't really taste like pineapple. I won't be back just for the customer service.

This place is great! I stopped in today for a smoothie. They had a lot of great flavors & their menu makes me want to go back. The cashier was super friendly too. I got the strawberry kiwi and it was good! ~stopped in again today with my boyfriend, and we tried the sandwiches. They were delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Definitely not worth it. It tasted like I was just eating water with fruit slices. The açaí was way too blended, it was very liquid.

Customer services was a 4/10. Walk in first thing I smelled was oil. I ordered salsa verde bow with quinoa no rice chicken was drenched in oil. That's where the smell came from, by far not a healthy alternative. I give the girl credit for trying to explain the smoothies but they are seriously lacking in the "healthy heart" repayment.

The PB&J is my go to. The service is great and timely. The menu choices are great for a healthy meal or snack.

Had the acai bowl, there wasn't a lot of options for toppings and the smoothie base was not thick enough and you could use a straw.

I got the Pina Colada smoothie, it had pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut, non fat vanilla yogurt and cinnamon.

They serve a healthy menu with a variety of options sandwiches/wraps, breakfast options, vegan, kids menu, smoothies, lemonade, coffees, alcohol (after 4pm) etc. I ordered a BALT sandwich meal combo--included fries or chips + lemonade (w/flavor options). No big deal, I thought. But the sandwich was served up on fresh sourdough and the bacon was chopped up into tiny pieces so it was so easy to eat without tugging, and served with avocado slices, tomato, lettuce and the right amount of mayo ratio (which was important). The homemade lemonade was a treat. And I had the garlic fries--delicious! As mentioned, I'm still thinking about how good that sandwich was. The place isn't huge but they seat a lot of people. Try this sandwich shop--it will not disappoint!

The place is in an unassuming location, but as soon as you go through the door it's much nicer inside. We received an immediate friendly greeting but hadn't studied the menu enough to know just what we wanted. I decided on the Cuban and upgrade to fries option. Workmate ordered the chicken club with truffle fry upgrade. 2 sandos with fries and one canned soda.. $45. Not inexpensive so it'd better be fantastic and of decent proportions. Well it was neither. The bread was good but the inside of the sandwich was just weird. For me at least, it just didn't work. The meat was room temp at best and seemed a little past its prime. For the price point I feel it was lacking a proper amount of cheese, and could have had more pickle. While I've never seen tomatoes on a Cuban before, they didn't add or detract from the sandwich itself. The concept on the fries is great! Hand cut, I'm pretty sure, thick wedge style fries. I tried the workmate upgraded truff/parmesan fries and they were good too but I'm not on the truffle bandwagon like everyone else so the $4 option doesn't make sense. I feel that I paid too much for disappointing food. I most likely won't return but I do think I had great service and the employees there want to make sure you're happy with your service.

But what you'll find is a 5 star restaurant once you step inside. They have patio dining as well as tables inside. Each meal is prepared and plated with culinary skill. On this day, I had the curry shrimp and veggies. A sort of deconstructed Thai yellow curry dish. The plating made all the difference. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.

The restaurant is clean and has a nice feel. I gave the girl who seated us my credit card and asked her to charge us as it was our treat. (At the end of our dinner, our waitress handed our neighbors the bill with our credit card.... It was uncomfortable and awkward). We were given each a slice of bread (very good). We each ordered a cocktail and chatted for a bit. We ordered the following: a seafood gumbo, fettuccine seafood Alfredo, pesto pasta, and a pesto pasta with shrimp, a Cesar salad and a spinach salad. It took awhile to get our food. The spinach salad was good. I would have it again. We ate and talked more. Paid our bill and left. The server delivered two plates of pesto pasta which shrimp although we only ordered one with shrimp. Our friend said he'd keep it. My complaint: the pesto pasta was terrible, and I don't say that lightly. It was barely warm, dry with the pesto sauce as if it had been re-warmed, the shrimp was almost too salted to eat (and I like salt), and there was a small pile of veggies on top of it all to give it color but even these were wilted and looked/tasted old. The seafood gumbo and the seafood fettuccine were both liked and seemed freshly put together. Now-I really wanted to say something but chose not to because we were just meeting our new neighbors and didn't want to complain about the meal in front of them. But, when we got into the car-our new friends commented that his pesto pasta was not warm and really not good at all. His comment lead to my review. Two of us had the same opinion. The dinner was good, but nothing was great. River City Grill wasn't a gem of a place tonight. We most likely won't give it another try and I doubt our neighbors will be back.
