I am extremely disappointed. I had been waiting to come check this place out as I live in Tempe. It was a Sunday evening last week ( 3/30). I thought it would be closed but decided to call and make sure. When I called at 7:54pm they told me today was the first Sunday they were open, I guess usually they close Sunday... We were So looking forward to getting a Delicious Raspado or SOMETHING. We arrived at 8:04pm, and the doors were still open, a couple was even eating at the tables outside. We walked in with a big smile ready to order and a young man stated "I'm Sorry we are closed".... I told him , "But I just called" He said, "Yeah I did say we were closing in a few"...Which I did not hear when I had called only minutes earlier...(Aaaand Why was your Door not CLOSED??!, Aaaand where is your Customer Service at???) So this place has a great selection but I can't say I'll be back. First off it's expensive, especially for Yuma. The smoothie was good though, but more like $5 good - not $9 good. All this could've been forgiven if they weren't so rude! Said hello, nothing, thank you, nothing. Asked a question about the drink size and got a short and rude response. Multiple employees too. So weird. Funny and true story, we went to a place down the street and got some food from a known place with good service and someone had just come in with the same story from the same smoothie place we just came from so I guess we are not alone ha. read more

I have been to Squeezed several times, and I love it! The first time I heard of this place I was excited since they were selling smoothies, and Mexican chips. When I first entered the building, I was amazed by the design! The colors of the walls, the furniture, and electronics are modern and in touch with the theme, which, in that time, did not have all the healthy smoothies and recipes they now have. The employees and owners have been incredibly nice to me. I have no negative feeling to share about them at all. I have been interested in eating healthy and clean about two years ago. I had been looking for healthy restaurants, but I did not find any that I really liked. When Squeezed's staff added the healthy menu, I was amazed again! They included Chia seeds, flax seeds, some new tropical fruits and other super-foods into their menu. I am in love with the Pitaya Bowl! I am guilty of trying to recreate such delicious foods at my house, but is never as good as their recipes. I totally recommend this place to people who desire to be healthier, or to anyone who wants something new, refreshing, and peaceful. read more

Came in at lunchtime. Arrived at 11:20. Waited 10 mins in line just to order. Then another 35 mins for 2 bowls. The girl running the register was the same one making food from the blenders. Another guy was in the back making hot food. They need more staff. Don't they know people don't have 45 mins just to wait for their food at lunchtime. I don't even have time to eat it now. I stopped in for a smoothie and was overcharged. I did not realize it until after I paid. I was the only person there and when I informed them that they overcharged me, they denied it and would do nothing to fix the situation. Beware of scams! Update: I emailed the company about my complaint and they refunded me the amount that was overcharged. The sign still does not reflect the correct prices, so ask before you order. I have been taking my family there since they first opened,and after waiting patiently for their sandwiches, all I can say is they did NOT disappoint! I had the ZAP, and being a veggie sandwich lover, i put it up there on my top 3 favorite veggie sandwiches ( I recommend getting it on foccacia). Aside from the sandwiches, their drinks are as unique as they are delicious. My kids LOVE their raspados, made with real fruit. my favorite is the twister, if you like really like unique! Now if you like good sandwiches, great smoothies, cute setting and really nice staff, seriously, go already! One of the very few the places I will miss profoundly the day I leave Yuma. read more

Ok, so I really enjoy coming to this place. Pros: Ambiance Nice Staff Good selection Good smoothies and sandwiches Cons: A little Pricey I've ordered the veggie sandwich on wheat and chips and it is really good, I love how they make it. The smoothies are also great, although I have wondered what kind of sweeteners they use since the smoothies are all fruit and veggies but still extremely sweet. If you are from another country other than Mexico and you order a churro you will not get the traditional churros that you might be thinking of, it's a cup full of Tajin (Which I love but was not expecting) and some cucumbers and some other stuff that I did not know what it was. It tasted alright and I got my check in the box for being adventurous and trying something different right? Overall the place is pretty great. read more

First time here and fell in love! My cousin told me I had to tried it before I left town and I was like oh kk I'll check it out. So we went in and right away I thought the place cute. They combined orange, green, white, and black together which in my head wouldn't seem to match but they blended the colors well. I love how their menu was on the wall. They had chalk paint on one side of the shop and hand wrote the menu. Got to say handwritting.... Beautiful! I wish my handwritting look like that. I admire nice handwritting. Service was good. Young man was nice and smiled! Which is a plus because that's just completes the 100% customer service in my book. They have a good variety. I had the 918. It was soooo good. Must try if you haven't. I asked them not to put clamato and chile because I felt that was too much. But perfectly fine with the other ingredients. If anything a little suggestion would be to do a little less on the chamoy because the tostitos were super soggy when I got to the bottom but don't get me wrong overall it was still good! The girls working were super friendly and very nice! I ordered the pitaya bowl and sadly was very disappointed. The size was huge which was nice but it so so runny I had to use a straw and drank most of it. The other unfortunate thing about this bowl was that it had no taste. I'm not sure if the apple juice was watered down but based on how liquidity it was it should have been super sweet...it was not. The granola was mush because of the liquid. I'm sorry to write a bad review but for a smoothie and a bowl @ $16 it was a very expensive disappointment. read more

With the juice craze going on right now this place is not going to satisfy that need for fresh pressed juice much of the menu items are already bottled and although the menu items might be fresh and have fresh fruits or veggies the Juice does not. We go to Squeezed because it's close to where we live, and they're open later than the other smoothie place in town. They have a great healthy menu with pretty good choices. There's lots of smoothies to choose from. They also have heathy salads and sandwiches. I'm giving it 3 stars because although their food and drinks are good, any time we've gone on there their customer service has been not to great. One of the times we were there in the evening, one of the young men in the back seemed VERY mad, annoyed, and frustrated. I mean, it was very obvious because he was throwing and banging things around. We could hear him mumbling. It made us and other customers there very uncomfortable. If you're going to be working with the public, you really should know how to leave your problems at home and think about how your attitude is going to make the customers feel. I really like the green squeeze smoothie, but it's pricey and out of a bottle. I have to think twice before driving over and getting myself one. I was very upset when I tried the vanilla raspado. I figured that because the owners and staff are Hispanic, and they have other Mexican candies and snacks, that the flavor would be good, but that was not the case! It tasted like vanilla extract straight out of the bottle, literally! You know how it smells good, but when you try it on it's own it's nasty? Yup that's what it tasted like! It was no where close to the normal vanilla raspado syrup. I had to return it and ask for something else. Did they offer me an exchange or a refund? Nope! Moved to Yuma from a Larger City where Juicing is "the thing to do" and was very lucky to find this place. The staff is great, the atmosphere is amazing & the Smoothies are to DIE for. A lot of people will say the prices are a big high. I say they are just about right. With the ingredients they put in each cup, the cup itself and paying the staff I believe they are doing GREAT and I do hope they stay in business. This town needs healthy options. read more

I am all about supporting local businesses so I wanted to like my first experience at this store. In short, I was overcharged, as a previous customer experienced. I ordered a small juice which is $3.75 if my memory serves me correctly. The board stated that you get a base consisting of either carrot juice, cucumber juice, or orange juice. The small drink option then says "pick three below" this implying what I believe to be three additional fruit/veggie options to mix into the drink. I ordered pineapple, mango, and kale with a cucumber base. They were out of papaya and strawberry. When she said I owed $6.07 I thought that she may have accidentally charged for a large drink which was around approximately $5.75 so I did not say anything. The sales receipt was promptly thrown after the purchase not asking me if I wanted the receipt. This was partially my fault for not speaking up at this point but I figured a large would better suit my appetite. When I got my drink it was only 16oz and not the large 32oz. I asked why my drink cost $6.07. She stated that it was because I added in extra items. I explained that the sign says to pick a base then three additional options not pick a base which is included in the three items you are allowed to pick below. Besides this, the four item 16oz drink only costs approximately $4.00. I should not have had $2.00 of sales tax. She then asked a co-worker why I was charged as much as I was when he stated that some of the items on the list cost more than others. The sign does not say anywhere that certain items cost more than others. They just said sorry and did not offer a solution. I only had a limited amount of time as I had less than 10 minutes to return to work so I left without bothering to complain. The drink itself was worthy of a 4 star review. The overall experience is what brought my grade down. If certain items truly do cost more there needs to be a disclaimer noting this or something that says "this item cost an extra..." The sign also needs to be clarified saying that you get a base and two extra items not three as the base is apparently included in the three items. I will not be returning to this store. Be cautious of their charging. read more

My co-workers and I tried this place yesterday and it was awesome. I had the veggie sandwich (zucchini, asparagus, roasted red peppers etc). The Cuban bread was soft and the veggies were perfectly roasted. I've lived in Yuma for 2 months and that sandwich was the best "meal" I've had since moving. My smoothie was just as good and huge. I can't recall the exact name but it had mangos, pineapple, orange juice and non fat vanilla yogurt. Honestly, it tasted too good to be healthy. I love this place. This is Yuma's version of a Jamba Juice and they fall short with a small variety of smoothies. They have sandwiches, fruit bowls and smoothies instead of just focusing on one specific genre. I think they would hit the mark closer if they would focus their talents in one direction instead of being all encompassing. For Yuma it's probably a 4 star rating but a real rating is a 3. The establishment lacks smoothie variety and the interior is a bit cheesy. It's easy to tell it's the old Blimpie sandwich shop. Invest some money and redo the counters. read more

Whenever I visit town I like checking out new places. I really liked the Brazilian smoothie. I'm not a coffee drinker and with this heat it's nice to have a healthy,cold, natural option other than a fructose syrup infused raspado. I was so excited to be going to Squeezed, having heard such good things about it. Unfortunately the experience was bad and the food was inedible. The staff reminded me of the Keystone Cops (look it up). Lots of yelling, lots of chaos, not much actually getting done. I understand they're hiring, but I wouldn't recommend working there to anyone I like. The special of the day was something with avocado - don't even remember what - and they had run out by 1pm. Instead of offering to cancel our order,the chicken-avocado-hummus sandwich, or substitute some fruit salad, or something, the kitchen added cold limp pathetic strips of bacon. No consideration of non-bacon eaters whatsoever. The sandwich was supposed to be chicken breast but appeared to be a sad version of extra-thin extra-cheap supermarket meat. Over an inch of green leaf lettuce stacked up. One bite in, my husband said "The turkey tastes fishy." His peach-pear-apricot smoothie was very nice/ My strawberry smoothie tasted of unripe strawberries mixed with gray, fuzzy strawberries. One sip was too much.
