I was so excited to be going to Squeezed, having heard such good things about it. Unfortunately the experience was bad and the food was inedible. The staff reminded me of the Keystone Cops (look it up). Lots of yelling, lots of chaos, not much actually getting done. I understand they're hiring, but I wouldn't recommend working there to anyone I like. The special of the day was something with avocado - don't even remember what - and they had run out by 1pm. Instead of offering to cancel our order,the chicken-avocado-hummus sandwich, or substitute some fruit salad, or something, the kitchen added cold limp pathetic strips of bacon. No consideration of non-bacon eaters whatsoever. The sandwich was supposed to be chicken breast but appeared to be a sad version of extra-thin extra-cheap supermarket meat. Over an inch of green leaf lettuce stacked up. One bite in, my husband said "The turkey tastes fishy." His peach-pear-apricot smoothie was very nice/ My strawberry smoothie tasted of unripe strawberries mixed with gray, fuzzy strawberries. One sip was too much. The food and smoothies here are great but man the customer service could use some help. We came in way before closing, around 530, and were treated as if we were a bother. The guy taking our order kept talking so fast we couldn't understand him and had to ask him to clarify and he got rude with us because we kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Then when he brought our food out he yelled it out and slammed the boxes on the counter. Had there been a manager there I would've complained right away. Don't work in customer service if you can't be polite!! Only reason I'm giving it 3 start is because the food and smoothies are delicious. However I won't be going back due to the service. read more

Ordered a big apple from here yesterday and they gave me an apple that was so old you didn't need teeth to chew it. Needless to say I threw the whole thing away. Obviously the person who cut it knew that it was extremely old but gave it to me anyway. I didn't notice until I got home that it was not edible or I would have gone back. A simple day spent training your staff well will hurry along so many miscommunications... saw four granola bowls almost done, only needing cream or yogurt poured, stay undone for 10 minutes. My simple shot of ginger took 10 minutes to get to. Two ladies waited for their smoothies for over 20... listening to the staff, it's clear they just need a day or two of good training. read more

Squeezed is one of my favorite places to get shakes. My favorite treat is their strawberries and cream. Recently, I went in to this local business and was excited to get strawberries and cream. As I ordered, the cashier politely told me they had no strawberries. No big deal. But every time I've gone there since then, there's never any strawberries. I feel like management isn't on top of their game. Such a shame that one of my favorite places has become a place I avoid. read more

I am sad. When we came to Squeezed before, it was at the gas station. We would stop and and get smoothies and salads and they were really quite lovely. So, when I saw there was still a Squeezed in Yuma we happily headed right over. (Eating vegan is difficult in Yuma) Anyways, we ordered a large juice which was good, a pico de gallo fruit salad and a sandwich. Now, I have eaten my fair share of pico de gallo fruit salads and this was lacking. It was lots and lots of apple, some pineapple, some cucumber, some cantaloupe and a chunk of honeydew.....where's the jicama? the papaya? The watermelon? So, with the juice and the pico I would have still given them 4 stars. The sandwich though, let me tell you, it was so pitiful! They put nasty old avocado on it that was brownish/greenish/blackish. Yuck! And for the amount of money paid, it should have had a decent amount of veggies, it was chintzy. If you are out of some veggies, put more of other veggies, don't make people feel like they are being ripped off. We also used the restroom there. Not good. I always feel like the upkeep on the restroom reflects cleanliness in the kitchen. The toilet seat literally fell off, no toilet paper and no hand towels. Thanks for having soap! Lame. read more

While visiting at the hospital for a week and trying to find something healthy to eat this was the only place I could find! Not only was it the only healthy place that I could find and wanted to eat. I had heard about this place for a while now and since I am an avid clean eater (I'm talking no fast food whatsoever, only drink water, weigh my food...that kind of stuff) I greatly enjoy finding the few places in Yuma that offer healthy options. Now, I make my own great smoothies and fruit bowls at home, but I thought I would see what the hype was about and give it a try. I will say that it has a great atmosphere and vibe, which is great for hanging out, but when I went up to order I saw the worst thing possible, which was bottled juices being poured into the drinks. If you are not a nutritionist you don't know that bottled juices are some of the worst things for you and just made your healthy smoothie completely unhealthy. If you are trying to lose that weight that hangs on your belly stay away from this!! I decided on a simple fruit bowl, no granola, nothing else but a little honey. Unfortunately it took 15 minutes to get it and the fruit was not very fresh... so bad that someone standing near me after I got it commented on how bad the apples looked. I admit that I am very picky and strict with what I put in my body, however, just because it's "fruit smoothies" doesn't always mean healthy. So, I was disappointed, I will just stick to making my own smoothies at home with real fruit and protein and no unnecessary additions. read more

Good food and smoothies but they suck at keeping their doors open. I have been by there 5 times in the last 3 weeks during their "business hours" and they were only open 2 of those 5 times. Suggestion, be open when you say you are. You'll have much happier returning customers!! read more

You can get some tasty items in here but don't expect a healthy, fresh squeezed juice drink; most of their juice is processed somewhere else and comes to them in a bottle. read more
