I ordered two breakfast orders using the app for pickup. They were ready on time with a bag of extra syrups and butters to boot! I want to give this 3 1/2 stars because the food was good and easy to order, the app is not the best when it comes to reward points and such. Located near Fortuna Rd and I-8 intersection, this Denny's is easily accessed off the frontage road. Busy location during Sunday lunch hour, but our group was seated quickly. Our server was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The dining area and restroom were clean and orderly. Our food was served hot and as ordered. Breakfast French crepes were delicious! (hope i have the right spelling) he was so kind and helpful. treated my rambunctious two year old with such kindness and understanding. was super informative and had everything out in an exceptionally timely manner. i am very happy to have had experienced service from such a kind hearted individual and i hope that this kind of service is searched for and found in all of their staff. truly deserves some praise! aside from that the food was delicious and everyone managed to get everything correct including special requests. the night shift team on 11/22 did an amazing job and i hope that management recognizes their efforts! read more

I ordered and my wife ordered a hamburger. Over $30 including tip. There promo would not work on the app on my phone they charged me $14.99 for a $8. Slam. $15.99 for a hamburger and additional 99 cents for onion rings. After breakfast I had to go home and eat. They are out of control. We go to Denny's frequently and are very pleased with the restaurant, food is very good and service is very good. One waitress we have been very pleased with is Yesenia, she is a very good waitress and goes out of her way to make us comfortable. She is a very hard worker and can handle days that are very busy. My husband and I never have any issues with this Denny's. It's one of our favorite restaurants. But tonight was the exception! We had no issues with being seated and having our order taken and being provided with our drinks. Our server, Vanessa was friendly and got our waters quickly. After we got our drinks, several other groups and one party of six arrived. We understand how crazy things can get when so many customers arrive on or about the same time, but, my complaint is the way our server, handled it. The couple who ordered immediately after us received their food first, in less than 10 minutes of ordering. (A perfect example of what we are accustomed to!) We assumed their food arrived sooner because they got something more simple than a cheeseburger and Philly Cheese Steak Omelet. Immediately after she served them, we saw the cook place our plates in the serving window. Then, our server proceeded to take the orders of another couple, a table of four and then the table of 6. She walked to the counter area where she saw our food sitting in the serving window. She moved the plates down onto a serving tray and then left them sitting there while she proceeded to enter all the orders from the 3 tables into the computer. Next, she leaned over the counter and asked the couple who she had just served, if everything was tasting good. She then proceeded to prepare two drinks and put them on the same tray. Then, she grabbed another plate of what appeared to be nachos from the serving window. She put that on the same serving tray and then went to the refrigerator to get a tub of sour cream. She put a scoop of sour cream on the nachos and put the sour cream tub back. Then, she carried the serving tray to the table where the couple who had arrived after we had already ordered and gave them their drinks and the nachos. It was then that she brought us our food. She could tell that my husband was not happy and asked if everything was okay. I told her that he was not happy with the fact that our food sat on the counter for as long as it did. Her response was that she was sorry, but she was very busy and should have been paying better attention. She then asked if we would prefer to have another server and asked if we wished to speak to a manager. My husband told her he wanted to speak to the manager. When she went to get the manager, I heard a portion of what she said to the manager and it consisted of, "I'm f#&*ing busy!" The manager didn't immediately come over to us. She stopped and did something at the computer first before she came to our table. She apologize and said that the server was just really busy and asked if our food was still warm and tasted okay. We told her it was warm(not hot) and tasted fine. She apologized again and just left. Our server still checked on us and also inquired as to whether my husband wanted to have his water refilled. He didn't want more water and told her no thank you. She returned a few minutes later with a glass of water and said she knew he said no, but just in case, she thought she should bring him another water. We asked for a box for my leftovers and the bill. When we left, the cashier was pleasant and asked how everything was. She got an abbreviated answer from my husband and she apologized for the bad experience. Luckily, Denny's offers a Military Discount, because no other discounts were offered for our troubles. Hopefully, that server can improve on her serving techniques! Our server's name was intentionally left out of this rant as I understand that everyone has their off days and she doesn't deserve to be humiliated publicly on the internet. I am totally at a loss As to what to say about the staff at this dennys I got stranded in Yuma with a pup I was transporting and my van died they allowed me to wait here with my pup for a ride. And Ashley N was an absolute dream of a waitress very attentive even tho she knew I was basically just gonna be sitting here drinking coffee (yes I did have breakfast lol) I would recommend this location whole heartedly. This was a great Denny's experience. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick considering how busy they were for the holiday weekend. The food came out hot and fresh with everything that we ordered being prepared to our specifications. Both my friend and I went with the build your own breakfast which allows you to pick 4 generous sized items for around 8 bucks. It was really easy and was more food than we could finish. Very welcoming, good staff, and lots of hustle with every member of the team I viewed on a busy Friday afternoon. But the absolute star of the day was our waitress, Ardhaloy. Sweet, knowledgeable, funny and spot on in every manner. We got immediate service. (Not a small thing considering we lucked out and walked in just before the afternoon rush.) We got seated very quickly, Ardhaloy met us almost at our table, offered us water and asked if we wanted anything to drink. (Another HUGE plus, Yuma AZ is HOT!) She made us feel at home, kept our drinks topped off, food showed up hot, and excellent portions. All in all, everyday lunch was a great experience. read more

It looks like it has been recently renovated and remodeled, the service was a little on the slow side but it seems we arrived on a rush of people. We would come to this location quite regularly, when we were back in Yuma. The service was great., particularly from the waitress, Marcella. She always makes a point of stopping by our table to say hello. We love the loaded veggie omelet and the tilapia ranchero. However, we stopped coming to this location when we noticed all the televisions had Fox News broadcasting. I'm sure there are other customers like ourselves that don't wish to see Fox News. Denny's is Denny's. I am not expecting a five star restaurant, but decent food, at a decent price, with decent service. My experience here proved the first two right, but when it came to service, I was very dissapointed. I came after the lunch rush, there was only three or four tables, all occupied by couples. My waiter took my order (milk shake and sandwich). It took about ten minutes to get my milkshake, but since two other tables ordered shakes, it took our waiter time to make them, grace was extended. My sandwich finally came, but my shake was already drunk. I ask again for a glass of water. After eating half my sandwich, I got up and ask for the third time for water. As this was going on a family of six came in for dinner. Three adults, three teens. They waited and waited, and finally walked out. No check. So I got up and walked to the cashier stand and there was my waiter leaning against a counter talking to a fellow employee. So, the family of six walked out costing Denny's lost income of 80-100 dollars. Our waiter probably lost 10-15 dollar tip. And I decided that I would eat elsewhere during my vacation. Never. Again. I wouldn't go into another Dennys if the food was free. First of all they won't allow firearms. They have a big sign at the front door that says 'No Firearms Allowed'. In Arizona? Please. Then there was long, unjustified waits for EVERYTHING from a table to coffee to food to service in general. I saw many cleared and empty tables but weren't seated for nearly thirty minutes. We waited at least ten minutes for first service, ten minutes for coffee and longer for our food. My wife ordered a dessert that although it was on the menu we found out fifteen minutes later was not prepared in time and was not available. My salmon was small and dry, we never got a single refill on our coffee and when we ordered water for four people (repeatedly) the waitress brought one single glass. The food sucked, the service sucked and the restaurant's anti gun policy sucked. I will never set foot in another Dennys. read more
