This review is based on a pick up order. I had tried one of their irresistible bowls before and I absolutely loved it, this was at a previous location and inside the restaurant. I was craving it again so when I placed the order I did have a few changes to the bowl. When I arrived at the time stated it would be ready I waited and waited, after 10 minutes of waiting I called the restaurant and they sent someone out shortly after. So if I wouldn't have called who knows how long that would have taken. Then when I brought it home I saw that they didn't make the changes I requested. I had ordered through the app and I saw it on the receipt and they still didn't get it right. So not really sure what happened in the kitchen or staff. Either way I probably won't be back anytime soon. Hope they improve their service and see what's in the order. read more

Consistently conversed with male patrons as opposed to female. Males got priority in service using 'pet names' such as 'care bear'. Consistently asked if the males needed more drinks or food while females sat unattended for 20 minutes after meal and drink was completed. Never asked females if they wanted a refill, but were able to attend to every male beer consumed. Not my first experience here as it is a convenience to location. Same waitresses. Same experience. It's Applebees... best I can say is it is consistent. Food it decent and fresh out of the microwave quality. Never had bad service at this location. For some reason this location has a sewer smell if you sit too close to the bathrooms and if you have to use the bathroom... make sure you really have to use it. read more

I ordered all you can eat riblits. In a party of 8 I'm served last and I order a second order to prevent waiting. I finish my at best warm ribs. I have to ask where for the second order of ribs again. When served they are cold! Sent them back and they are hot but they lacked the sauce served with the first time. One in the group was served lemon aid with a dead fly in it..the fly was below the surface level.. manager replaced the drink. No offer to comp the drink, My second time there for all you can eat and both times I'm dissatisfied. I'm done eating there. read more

I have a new favorite at Applebee's! I try to order something different each time we go so the Quesadillas Burger was looking pretty good. Wow, is all I can say. The burger was seasoned to perfection! I loved all the different flavors of vegetables, sauces, cheese and that scrumptious burger. I may need to try it again just to make sure. I stopped in after a hot day and met the bartender Judy who had most of the bar area well under control spending time with regulares and just being a good bartender to everyone. 9 tables and a full bar and she didn't miss a beat. 5 stars from me for an amazing bartender. Monica was fantastic!!! The food was decent ribs were a bit dry and honestly not 5 stars. Monica completely stole the show. She was working hard and fast but somehow gave us her full and undivided attention with questions and ordering, and she was attentive, constantly checking in. Probably the best server I've had in a year plus. I have some food allergies and it's nice to feel listened too and like the server is listening. Gross. We ordered two 12 oz steaks and two 6 oz steaks for pick up. The website said pickup was 6:08pm. The food still wasn't done at 6:30pm so my partner had to just stand there and wait. When we opened the bags we could tell that the steaks were all overcooked (we ordered two medium and two medium well and ALL were grey inside). The broccoli was flavored well but not cooked all the way through. We ate everything because we were staying at a hotel and STARVING but I won't order from them again. read more

I brought my husband for all you can eat riblets and shrimp. The table next to us came in 15 minutes after we had ordered. They received their dinners long before we did. The portion of ribs and shrimp are small. Then, when you reorder, it takes forever to get the second plate. Management was apologetic, but didn't seem to mean it sincerely. You shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes between SMALL servings of riblets and six small shrimp. People who ordered, were served, and ate after we had ordered are already gone. Probably won't return. FOOD - I ordered the half rack of ribs with sauce on the side. It came with a small rack with almost no meat on the ribs. At first sight they looked burnt, and they were. and after tasing one they were badly over salted. I sent them back for a fresh 1/2 rack...The waitress said that the manager was cooking in the kitchen. Well, the second serving was little than the first. I also asked that with my order I get French fries, extra crispy, they were not. The meal was far from worth the $22 price tag. This was not my first visit to Applebee's and previous meals were about the same quality. SERVICE - the waitress was friendly and cooperative, but I did have to wait a while to flag her down to get a second drink. AMBIANCE - This is very ordinary, the place had a few booths on the wall areas, with tables filling in the floor area. Comfortable and clean but nothing to shout about. CONCLUSION - the prices are too high for the quality of food. The appetizers tasted out of a frozen package. On the upside the Happy Hour appetizers are half price and a good bargain if you are looking for volume over quality. The mixed and fancy drinks are slightly overpriced but good. After returning the ribs and letting the waitress know that the second was not much better than the first, I was not offered any compensation just a different meal. RECOMENDATION - Do NOT order meals off the menu, be there for happy hour (3-6 9-closing). I give it a 2 out of 5 read more

Since we're currently on the road traveling we're getting to experience several different places to eat and even chain restaurants are different in different places. We were actually looking for a diner for diner type food. This was about as close as we could find considering where we were at. My husband ordered a side of potatoes and gravy along with french onion soup .... delicious. The potatoes at Applebee's are REAL spuds and excellent. I had the small riblet plate. The one time we eat at Applebees as a last resort because we are on the road and it was horrid. Let me just say that the manager was exceptional in getting this situation resolved however, I wanted to warn others before they waste their time. Ordered the four cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken. Waited an hour, asked where our food was after which it was brought out with some plain chicken tenders thrown over the Mac and cheese. I immediately caught on to them trying to dupe me. Was not too happy with the food. I thought they forgot my lettuce on my burger, but it was hidden. The server was kind enough to bring me another piece of lettuce. The AMF I ordered was really good. Staff was cool though. Shout out to my server Danny! It was convenient, right by our hotel. My family enjoyed their meals, they didn't have any complaints. The restaurant was busy when we walked in. We decided to take a chance and sit at one of the hightop tables in the bar. Server was friendly and greeted us with a drink order within a couple minutes. I asked if it was too soon to place our order she smiled and said not at all. Took our drink order and food order. We got the 2/38 dinner with appetizer and a third meal. We haven't been to this Applebees before and weren't too excited since the reviews are so low. We were delightfully impressed. My husband's steak was good, our son's chicken mac n cheese turned out well, and I enjoyed the bourbon chicken and shrimp. Overall great experience. We will be back. Wish I remembered our waitresses name she was very attentive, drinks were always full, and was the Cutest little thing with silver streaks in her hair. Great job. read more

Worst place in Yuma to eat. Everything we ordered tasted frost burned. Nothing was cooked at temperature and what was cooked correctly had the flattest taste. Had a chicken oriental salad. The best that be said about it is that it had lettuce and chicken. Those things that make an oriental salad were for the most part missing, especially flavor. I cannot not recommend this Applebees. The tortilla soup was not good. It seemed old- so overcooked I could not even figure out was the ingredients were. Tasted weird- nothing Mexican about it. Same with the southwestern bowl. 75% rice, again very strange flavor- nothing southwestern about it. In fact it has a Brazilian chimichurri sauce on it, that just didn't mesh with the rest of the flavors. On top of everything, our server was good at first but ignored us after serving. We waited a good 30 min after asking for the check. We finally gave up and went to hostess station where she magically appeared asking if we wanted the check unreal. I will never return. read more

We ordered the 2-for-$20 on both the appetizer's and the main course, and I am sorry to say I can't remember the name of what we ordered because I threw out the wrong receipts before this review...however, the pictures below should explain it all... It was delish; the server professional and funny, the floor manager shiny and happy...at that late hour. We took the leftovers home, along with our full bellies. WIFI yes, military discount...didn't bother looking for online coupons because the 2-for deals seemed enough. Dining area, bathrooms clean...they probably were because...near closing. Super disappointed in our mean tonight. I usually love Applebee's but tonight was bad. We excused the dirty appetizer plate because we also got wings and hopped it was just from that. Ordered a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't even warm. My sons pizza was also completely black on the bottom. Maybe just don't go after 7? The Halloween drinks were delicious though. read more

Went there tonight for a family dinner . The waitress was nice food was gross . I ordered the chicken Alfredo right when I saw it I knew it was microwaved . The sauce no flavor and the chicken rubber . The breadstick was gross tasted like I ate a pure salt . My soda had no flavor as well . I would of rather ate a Mary calendar microwaved meal then what I ate ..... all struggle food read more
