This past weekend, my aunt did a catering order from there, wings. I picked up the wings. Everyone was very nice and helpful but when I got back to the house and I was putting them on the dish, they were the driest looking wings I have ever seen and my aunt lives like 30 minutes away from the restaurant. we had to get my other aunt to pick up some sauce. They were very nice about it but the fact that we had to do that was a little annoying. considering it was a catering food once we added the sauce that they gave us. But, that wasn't the case at The Crossing Bar and Grill, I ordered their ribeye medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. I also added sauteed onions and mushrooms, which we cooked beautifully. I asked for a bottle of A1 just in case, but never used it. I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were insanely good. I've only ever tried the wings and they were clearly frozen. The sauce was lackluster but the wings were quite big for what I paid . Unfortunately It's possible I did go an off day and did not try any of their other offerings that day. While I haven't been back in years I'll be going back for a second offering as their customer service is very obviously above par. They did give us a $15 gift card to cover the cost of a $17 Burger. Went, against my better judgmen, again last night. Fish tasted like disinfectant, returned it. They offered to comp the fish and replace it with a free Philly cheesesteak. since my wife was almost finished with her meal we opted to take the cheesesteak home. The bill came, the bill was over $55 because they didnt honor the gift card and didn't comp the cheesesteak. After some discussion with the manager with the server as a go between (manager must be a coward) we settled for $23 + a tip for my wife's meal and our drinks. Their ribeye steak meal is also one of my favorite dinners. The wait staff is always polite and helpful even when they're understaffed. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We ordered the mushroom appetizer and steak that is smothered in bleu cheese. Our server was prompt and friendly. She brought out some warm bread and soft butter that was delicious!
