    Fried mushrooms

I've always been one to taste my steak and if it doesn't have flavor, I drown it in A1 Sauce. But, that wasn't the case at The Crossing Bar and Grill, I ordered their ribeye medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. I also added sauteed onions and mushrooms, which we cooked beautifully. I asked for a bottle of A1 just in case, but never used it. I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were insanely good. As always service was top notch, our server Ashley was observant, attentive polite and friendly. The eatery is known for its wings, but they have so much more to offer.

Been coming to this place ever since I was kid I mainly order there chicken wings and the fresh house made Squaw bread it's a great place to catch sports or just get a good bite to eat .

The food was good. The fried mushrooms are the best! But, their service really lacks. I had heard that before and experienced it this time. We ordered three appetizers and they were brought out at the same time as our meals. Like they don't understand what an appetizer is and to delay the meal for the appetizers to be enjoyed.

Went for happy hour but by the time we finally get seated even though there was plenty of tables available it was almost over. Then the server said no we have to be seated on the other side of the restaurant for happy hour but they would serve us beer just not the specials. What a crock, last time I go there.horrible management.server was nice, food was ok.that was not why we went there. Asked about the happy hour specials before we were seated btw.

Yuma staple. The Crossing has an extensive menu and everyone should be able to find something. Server was really good and food came out fairly fast. The beef stroganoff was really good. The flavors were not what I expected and I will definitely get it again.

I'll definitely go back when I am in Yuma. Pretty big portions too.

It was another 15 minutes before the "fish and chips "was brought to the table.. having replaced the french fries with a cup of chili, I checked it to see if it was hot it was!!! Was the coleslaw called?? it was!!! But as I looked at the three planks of fish, my heart sink. Greasy glisten of the tempera like batter concerned me.. the batter was tough and I was unable to cut it with a fork. The tartar sauce was tasty and with a squeeze of lemon on the fish I was delighted to finally have food. I was only able to eat halfway through the first piece of fish before I started peeling away the batter once all three were released from their tough greasy death shrouds... I was able to enjoy about three ounces of fish! The server was attentive and offered a fresh decaf coffee cup to go! I have no idea what was going on at Black Bear last night . Absolutely not what we have experienced previously. The chili was spicy. The coleslaw was fresh.. the 1st cup of decaf was deplorable! Better days ahead I'm hoping !

But what you'll find is a 5 star restaurant once you step inside. They have patio dining as well as tables inside. Each meal is prepared and plated with culinary skill. On this day, I had the curry shrimp and veggies. A sort of deconstructed Thai yellow curry dish. The plating made all the difference. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.

The restaurant is clean and has a nice feel. I gave the girl who seated us my credit card and asked her to charge us as it was our treat. (At the end of our dinner, our waitress handed our neighbors the bill with our credit card.... It was uncomfortable and awkward). We were given each a slice of bread (very good). We each ordered a cocktail and chatted for a bit. We ordered the following: a seafood gumbo, fettuccine seafood Alfredo, pesto pasta, and a pesto pasta with shrimp, a Cesar salad and a spinach salad. It took awhile to get our food. The spinach salad was good. I would have it again. We ate and talked more. Paid our bill and left. The server delivered two plates of pesto pasta which shrimp although we only ordered one with shrimp. Our friend said he'd keep it. My complaint: the pesto pasta was terrible, and I don't say that lightly. It was barely warm, dry with the pesto sauce as if it had been re-warmed, the shrimp was almost too salted to eat (and I like salt), and there was a small pile of veggies on top of it all to give it color but even these were wilted and looked/tasted old. The seafood gumbo and the seafood fettuccine were both liked and seemed freshly put together. Now-I really wanted to say something but chose not to because we were just meeting our new neighbors and didn't want to complain about the meal in front of them. But, when we got into the car-our new friends commented that his pesto pasta was not warm and really not good at all. His comment lead to my review. Two of us had the same opinion. The dinner was good, but nothing was great. River City Grill wasn't a gem of a place tonight. We most likely won't give it another try and I doubt our neighbors will be back.

And living out here in Arizona right now, any sort of Nashville Hot style is hard to come by. (KFC ain't it, y'all.) This chicken is good. It's not exactly the taste of home, but it's close. They tried, so I'll give them credit for that, and the food was tasty even if the flavor isn't quite what I would equate to Nashville style hot. It definitely ain't 400 Degrees or Prince's or even Hattie's. And there was no bread served underneath to sop up all of the greasy, dripping spicy goodness like a true Nashville hot chicken would have... but it was closer than some other places that have tried to make a Nashville Hot. We got the tenders. Also fries, tots, and cole slaw. A THC slider, as well. The tenders were my favorite of the meal we had. The fries and tots were as expected- nothing extraordinary but not bad either. The cole slaw was only alright. The slider was good and came on Hawaiian style rolls. The miso ranch and garlic aioli were also good. The biggest thing I wanted to say about this restaurant... it's located INSIDE of Dog Haus. I had no idea until I was driving around trying to find it and had to call the business number to locate them... so if you do delivery, you'd never even know, but if you pick up like I did, be advised. I didn't see any signage in the parking lot, on the road, or on the building itself... or really even inside of Dog Haus except for the menu item they have that's also named the Bad Mutha Clucka. So it wasn't super easy to find. But now you know, so that should remedy any future confusion.
