It's a quaint little place that's great for small groups or a quiet meal with someone. We stopped in for the lunch special, which comes with soup, your choice of entrée, and either white or fried rice. I ordered the sesame chicken, while my partner had the beef and broccoli. My sesame chicken was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and not overly crispy or hard like it can sometimes be. It was just right. The only thing that missed the mark for me was the fried rice. The peas and carrots tasted a little cold, which threw off the texture and flavor. Next time I'll probably stick with the white rice like my husband always does. Service was prompt, and we never felt forgotten. A gentleman, who I assume was the owner or manager, stopped by to check on us, and I noticed they greeted customers as they came in, which always leaves a good impression. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Even though the restaurant was busy, it wasn't crowded or noisy, making it easy to enjoy a nice lunch and conversation. The food was decent--nothing bad, but not particularly memorable either. Everything was served hot, which I appreciated, and it was plated very nicely and looked great. Absolutely the best Asian food I've had in Yuma! We got chicken lo mien, egg drop soup and fried rice. It was so good I purchased an order of vegetable chicken to take home I'd had since leaving California. The egg drop soup was flavorful and pleasant texture and lots of egg ribbons, fried rice was also flavorful and a good texture. My companion and I agreed to make this a regular visit from now on, service was prompt and pleasant. Not busy on a Saturday lunch time, I have no complaints about this place, plenty of parking, good prices, calm and pleasant decor, good food, pleasant staff, even the drinks (a soda and an unsweetened ice tea) were great and reasonably priced and quick service. Simply awesome! We always stop in for lunch when we do our monthly grocery shopping. The owner usually greets us and the rest of the staff is friendly and attentive. The lunch specials are very affordable, and the selection is good. Food is always steaming hot and freshly prepared. If you're stopping by for a business lunch they can get you in and out fast so you don't miss any work. My wife and I love this place. read more

Not authentic. Owned by Asian but I wonder which country they are from? Definitely not Thai because Tom yum soup wasn't Tom yum soup. And their noodle didn't go with it. Nice and clean restaurant and the friendly people but it's funny they forgot to put noodle in my Tom Yum noodles and forgot to put soup in my husband's soup noodle. A wonderful experience for our dine in party for 10. Great, friendly service even as the restaurant continued filling up. Very fair prices. Plenty of options to choose from. Once brought to the table, the dishes looked as good in person as they were portrayed in their menu. We were surprised by the large portions and you will likely need to ask for a takeout box. My husband , who normally does not care for Asian food, loved it. We were waited on by the owner, who made us comfortable,and not feeling inadequate with our lack of knowledge of Asian food. Ambiance: I know a lot of people will roll their eyes at this, but as an aquarium enthusiast, the koi fish tank was in very poor condition. The tank would be good for a few smaller fish (like a few of the black gold fish already in there) but it's just way too small for a koi to thrive, let alone that whole school of koi. The 2 biggest koi had large wounds that the other fish were eating at--they kept trying to swim away, but the tank is too small for them to have their own space so they just swam from one fish eating them to another fish eating them. I suspect the overcrowding is also impacting their ability to breathe. Some of the fish had visible fin rot, this is caused by poor water quality. The tank either isn't being cleaned enough, or there isn't enough beneficial bacteria to help establish a healthy nitrogen cycle (or both could be true). It would be easier to keep the water within healthy parameters if there were fewer fish producing waste, and if there were substrate and decorations for beneficial bacteria to grow on. Live planta likewise help water quality. Some people will roll their eyes, but these are living creatures, not decorations. There are probably aquariums or fish stores that would want to adopt the big koi. Koi are beautiful, peaceful fish, they're smart enough for people to train, but they need more space and more care in order to be able to thrive. These ones are needlessly in pain. As for the rest: Service was very polite and good. Food wasn't my favorite. We got teriyaki bowls, the sauce was alright but the chicken was gummy/rubbery. I'm sorry read more

This is a particular Asian restaurant in a good way. We went on a Sunday and they were busy but we got our orders taken quickly. Very friendly stuff. I like that they have Chinese and Thai food, there are times I have to go hunting for a Thai restaurant because some people in my group might want Chinese others Thai etc, and here you have both. I order the kung pao shrimp it was a bit too sweet for me in my opinion the flavor was good thou. My husband ordered the shrimp chop-suey very tasty too. Is a good place and good for kids too. I have been eating at this restaurant for years! Service is always 5 star, and I visit there at least twice a week. I know everyone that works there and their server Joe knows all my favorite foods! Large portions and I never have to ask for drink refills. This is the only Chinese restaurant that gets my business. I hated everything we ordered! First service is not the best. Ok now for food, I've had bad chinese food this was worse. They had a fusion thing going on different ethnicities, maybe they shouldn't. The tom yum soup was fake imitation crab muscles from a can and tasted nothing like Tom yum soup I've had at many other locations not in yuma... the Mongolian beef was swimming in a sweet sauce with only a few pieces of meat. The fried rice was flavorless and also had the same type of meat as the mongolian beef and it was just weird. Finally the only passable thing was the orange chicken, but still not great. They give you small portions and small bowl of rice instead of the usual family style containers, we are used to in all other places we've been to. Possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. I spent $120 here and the portions were so small. All that money and only enough food for maybe 5 adults. I got the spicy shrimp and there were literally only 3 shrimp in there!!! The rest was the celery and peanut mix they cook it with. I called them so they could give me another order and I asked for extra shrimp. Well my second order only had 4 shrimp!! Out of the 10 people that I bought food for, nobody liked the flavor of anything. Please don't believe the hype of this place!! First time here, I ordered the mushu pork with fried rice, an egg roll app and a small egg drop soup. All were delicious. I didn't expect the mushu pork to come rolled like tacos. It says served with crepes but these were flour tortillas. I'm Mexican so I know a flour tortilla when I see one! The mushu pork inside the tortillas was good. The egg roll was one of the better egg rolls I've had in a while as was the egg drop soup. I give this place 4 stars cause of the flour tortilla but all in all I would eat here again. I'll something different next time. They really have an extensive menu. read more

We just started eating our order and realized we ordered Julianne crispy fried noodles that come with chicken and shrimp. All we got was the crispy noodles! Paid 11.95 for that! Crispy Cheese Wontons were very good. Egg Drop Soup was flavorless. Spring Rolls were crispy but seemed to be filled with the contents of a salad that spent the day in the food processor - mushy and flavorless. Salad - dressing was WAY too sweet. Tasted like a bottle of honey diluted with soy sauce. Veggies were fresh and a nice assortment. Hot Tea - handle of pot was sticky bit pot seemed clean so ignored it. Same food as Highway 95 Cafe but (and it's been a while since I was out there) not as good as my last visit there. There are much better places in town and won't be back. read more

I hadn't visited Yuma in a long time. I recently went to town and my friend brought me here. We ordered Singapore style noodles, 4th ave rolls & Miami rolls. The noodles were incredibly flavorful, I loved them. The 4th ave rolls were also really good. The Miami rolls were interesting, they weren't bad but just too sweet for my taste. This was the worse Chinese food I have ever had. The BBQ pork was all fat and gristle. The Won Ton soup was like I have never seen. There were spaghetti like noodles in it and the pork was inedible. The 'broth' was red. Not like any Won Ton soup I have ever had. I ordered the cashew chicken and the chicken was indescribable. The egg rolls were flavorless. I agree with VV that the fusion thing was horrible. I didn't expect that. The BBQ pork came in some kind of sauce. Save your money. Go somewhere else. read more

This is a lovely place with some really decently priced lunch specials. My father LOVES this place and goes often. They always remember his order perfectly seeing as he's very particular. He always gets the kung pao and it comes highly recommended. I really love the chicken rendang. It's not a lunch special, so it's a bit more pricey, but very worth it! This is a traditional Malaysian dish, and they do it so well here. The curry flavor is always amazing and so well balanced with all the other spices. I've recently gotten their BBQ pork appetizer and it was delicious as well. Nice cuts of pork with a delicious sweet sauce. My very picky 4 year old loves this, without the sauce actually. 2nd time being here. First time I ordered the Mongolian beef. It wasn't bad but I asked for them to make it spicy. They did not. Very bland. Today, I ordered the "spicy crispy beef". I got sweet and sour beef that was over fried and covered in sweet and sour sauce to soften it up. Nothing spicy about it. Way too hard to chew. Tastes like it's been sitting out for quite some time and not fresh. I called to complain. I took it to go. Should have tasted it first. I don't recommend this place. Try another Asian restaurant. They literally have false advertising. Menu says "crispy beef, spicy". I got sweet and sour beef. I know because I use sweet and sour sauce to cook for my son. They just said "Oooohhhh".
