We were staying in Yuma and my kids wanted to try Sushi. My first thought was, I'm not sure how good sushi in Yuma could be. To be honest, I should've went with my first thought and gone elsewhere. As soon as we walked in to the restaurant, you were hit with smell of sewage. The empty tables had pieces of food and crumbs on them and were not cleaned off. Not wanting to look elsewhere, we decided to stay and try the food. I ordered the Yogis Roll. The fish was definitely not fresh. Very fishy smell and taste, I only ate 2 pieces and threw the rest out. My son had the Hawaiian roll and had the same issues as my roll. My daughter ordered the teriyaki chicken with rice and it was good. Everything is prepared in takeout containers and they call out numbers to pick up your orders . Love yogi's grill in Phoenix so thought it would be a good road trip stop for me and my family. It was relatively clean and plenty of seating. I ordered a tofu cutlet bowl with half veggies and a side of avocado, my usual order! It took a bit for it to be ready. The avocado was fresh, a plus! The downsides were they served my mom gluten after she asked and confirmed multiple times if the item had gluten and that she was unable to have gluten. They fixed it when she asked but it took an incredibly long time to be prepared. My husband asked for all white meat in his bowl and they said it was all while meat when he asked but it definitely wasn't the chicken looked red. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Yogi's Grill through the Uber Eats app. They advertised a BOGO free deal on sushi rolls, but charged me full price, adding an unexpected $30 to my order. I didn't notice until it was too late to cancel. When I called, a kind staff member offered the owner's number, but the duty manager shut that down and told me to deal with Uber instead. They claimed the BOGO offer was only valid on their website, despite it being clearly listed on Uber Eats. A few months ago, I moved from California to Yuma and have since visited Pacific Yogis twice and Yogis in Foothills twice as well. The interior boasts high ceilings and an open space with modern decor, making it bright and clean. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Son, are incredibly friendly and wonderful people. The food is generally delicious, with generous portions that are great value for the price. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Bowl, Shrimp Tempura Udon, and Yakisoba, and I was very satisfied. I have had Grubhub delivery to my hotel (Hilton Garden inn if you're interested in getting food delivered) and it has been always a bit better than expected. Even if you beg they will only give you 5 soy sauce packets. Even if you get several dishes. Maybe I need to work on my begging game? Last delivery I got one of their Firecracker roll which was good but disappointing in some aspects. Good in that it was ridiculously huge, and deep fried perfectly. Disappointing because it legit tasted like Bell peppers were inside of it and not jalapeño. Seriously. Tasted just like bell pepper I'm convinced it was in fact bell pepper. So although good, it legit has zero firecracker quality at all. Zero. I also got a spicy tuna poke bowl with extra avocado. They totallllllly deliver on the extra avocado! Because I'm going Keto I subbed out the rice for veggies. The veggies were meh. K wish they had cauliflower rice to sub in, but I guess at least they have an option to sub out rice right?!? Found this place on yelp. Good reviews and healthy food. I got the spicy salmon bowl and not did it impress. I asked for the veggie option instead of rice. It was nicely steamed broccoli, zucchini, and cabbage. Definitely worth the upgrade of a mere 99 cents. I ordered take out, and drove over to pick up my food before returning to work. Place seemed busy. The menu is extensive. When I went on grubhub via the yelp app the prices were not $ (one dollars sign) signifies not a pricey. With the veggie substitute it was $12.98 my overall meal was $15.33 just for the bowl. I walk in and the price for the same bowl is $8.99 (I assume no veggie substitute). This is not against the shop by any means. It goes to show the price hike for GrubHub. I should have just called my order in and saved a few bucks. I know I am yelp elite and there is a partnership with yelp and grubhub. But people should know the up charge is about 40% either coming out of our pocket or the sushi place. She is more of a sushi fan than I am and thought the texture of the cream filling was too soft. The taste was good, so the overall experience was good. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bowl. A good sized portion of chicken on a rice base. Good teriyaki flavor on the chicken. I had the beef udon. Lots of thinly sliced beef, tasty broth, veggies, and udon noodles. I may not be able to find good sushi in Yuma :( I stopped by Yogi's to pick up a couple of my favorite sushi rolls. I always get a spicy tuna roll and a Philly roll. I was happy to see that they had it on the menu and I ordered those two rolls to go. I didn't pay super close attention to the contents of each roll but these are pretty basic/standard sushi rolls. The order took about 10ish minutes and was ready for me on time. They hooked me up with extra ginger as requested. Now to the sushi, the tuna roll was light on tuna and ,for me, didn't have that the usual heat. The roll also was falling apart as I tried to eat it with chopsticks. I'm used to a philly roll coming with smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber. The Yogi's version is crab meat inside and un-smoked salmon on top. They do have it posted on the menu description but it's not the philly roll I was looking for. The service was good. This is a pure sushi review, I haven't tried any of the other food and I'll give them another try for the non-sushi options. read more

Steep for Yuma for two, but we were both stuffed with leftovers. All in all, great food, prices are higher than i feel are reasonable, and expect to wait during the peak hours. However, Yuma has nothing like this. Fresh, tasty, flavorfull quality ingredients, great presentation, all in a to-go style restraunt. The opening week for a business can be rough. Coming here during peak lunch hour resulted in a 15 min wait to order, and 25 min until our food was ready.
