First impression- the place was clean. Even the bathroom was clean - clean bathroom clean kitchen?? I was not fond of the four sports TVs or the loud music ( I don't get it, why are restaurants playing such loud music so one can't even have a conversation with fellow dinners). It's really one of my pet peeves. I had pork dumplings - okay and beef ramen also okay. Waitress was pleasant and the food came out fast and was hot. I'll be back and try a couple other dishes. Which was a good thing. Inside, you can see the basic plans from the previous restaurants but it's all in good taste. Think of a Denny's mixed with Blade Runner-ish city eatery ambience, without the futuristic stuff, city grime or replicants and your get what I mean...I guess? We were seated and ordered the "Family Dinner For 4" that was served plate by plate in 10 minute increments, and Melissa our server kept our drinks filled. The loot : - Potstickers: 4 stars! Nothing to write home about, but maybe a text...? - Wonton Soup: 5 stars! An all around great taste... - Orange Chicken: 5 stars! Better than most, the sauce & chicken; yes! - Chicken Lo Mein: 4 stars! Good and not TOO spicy... - Beef Fried Rice: 4 stars! Your typical fried rice...yes. My wife mentioned she didn't like the fact the food arrived warm and not hot; I didn't notice. I noticed the staff was on top of their game, handling take-out orders as well as dine-ins. After looking at the local Chinese food restaurants, I decided to give oriental house a try! I try not to get Chinese food often but when I do I get everything I want! We ordered, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, pork lo main and wonton soup! Everything was really good but my only complaint is the beef they used for the beef and broccoli, it was a lot smaller and thinner pieces then what I am used to getting. It wasn't over flavored, personally could of been a little bit more, but all In all was good! The prices are better then what I am used to and maybe that reflects the local restaurant prices but everything with tip was under $45.00! The portion sizes were generous and the service was good. We ordered a "regular" sushi special and some veggie dumplings to share and I think it was just the right amount of food for lunch for two. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and kept our waters topped off, while adding a bit of humor. I'd be excited to try some of their other dishes! It's a neat spot for this place, I've washed this building change through a variety of restaurants and I love the old fashioned (totally 70's style) booths along a wall of windows in the front. Ordered two sushi rolls. The salmon sushi roll had rice and seaweed and salmon inside only there wasn't actually any salmon inside. It was all HARD rice with clearly OLD sea weed and the tiniest "spec" of salmon. Absolutely inedible. I mean honestly. Threw it in the trash. Also ordered some dragon roll or something. Over fried is an understatement. It was so gross. Swimming in eel sauce which was gross. Nothing fresh about it. They clearly make their sushi and refrigerate it for delivery and take out orders. Won't be ordering again. Not sure how they have so many good reviews. People here must have no taste buds or have never had actual sushi. read more

They are one of the few places that deliver and they let you order online which is a huge plus given that I was on Yuma for work and just wanted an easy ordering experience. The food came warm, and with the added things I asked for like extra hot chili oil and such. Usually a request of this nature is forgotten. The portions are pretty huge! I just wished that the flavors weren't so sweet. I have found this to be an issue at other Chinese restaurants in Yuma. When I order something spicy I want it spicy! I'm likely going to order again because my laziness tends to make me more optimistic about my chances for a great delivered meal. read more

Loved it. Tried it for the first time tonight. Wish they opened up for dine in and not just take out. Everything had great flavor especially the sauces. This is one of your cool traditional Chinese food places. The potstickers seemed to have been homemade, I recommend trying it once. This is our first time here and we were very pleased. My husband got his usual chicken egg foo yung and was happy to see something as close to home as he's seen since moving here 12 yrs. ago. I tried their Thai curry shrimp and house special rice noodle. Both were excellent. I was not a fan of the spring roll, the filling was mushy and the skin was greasy. I didn't try the crab Rangoon that I ordered because it came out with sweet sauce drizzled over all of them. It looked nice but again, not a fan of sweet sauce and not having the choice. Today was my first visit to Oriental House and it was great! My server was so nice and helpful. Very accommodating. I ordered early, for a friend that wasn't there yet, because they get an hour lunch. She was worried about his soup getting cold and asked when she should bring it. So thoughtful. The "bread" on the table was a nice touch: wonton strips, peanuts, and kimchi. My second time trying kimchi, pretty good. Not so strong and overpowering like another I've tried. Lunch specials are very well priced and offer more than enough food. I had the pad thai, fried rice, and hot & sour soup. One of the best soups I've had, big hot & sour fan! I wanted to know what was in their garden chicken and he happily listed it all. Then recommended their tasty brown sauce over the others. I happily placed my order for doordash delivery on the app after a pleasant phone call! We went with the wonton soup, house special fried rice, chicken lo mein, and that yummy garden chicken in brown sauce! The wonton soup wasn't my favorite but my brother lives here and loves it so that ended up being his! So, no loss! Haha their noodles are on the sweeter side but cooked well, good pieces of chicken, their veggies are fresh and crisp! Bonus points from me for non canned mushrooms in the garden chicken and hella crisp snap peas! Their house fried rice is freaking amazing and their food is extremely affordable! I am glad they got a new building. I don't feel grossed out here. I'm also glad that it looks like they aren't cycling out servers every so often. I am simple when it comes to the food here: a big bowl of hot and sour soup and an order of mapo tofu with extra spice and some rice. I don't go for the orange chicken or beef and brocolli or the typical stuff; they have some actual Chinese food you just have to ask. Love places like this (unfortunately this location seem to change restaurants every year or two so get it while it's still here). Came here and got pretty much what I expected. From the mediocre service to the sticky bathroom floors. I've only have one thing here (Kung pao triple delight) and the serving was plenty. A bit bland though. But I can't do any better myself and I tried to eat it all so I'm not complaining, just giving my 'review' of it. One of our favorite spots! Everything we've had was great and the servers are excellent! Our favorites are the ramen soup, not your average ramen, this has everything but the kitchen sink! Just the right amount of spice, meat, veggies and even topped with an egg! So good! Orange and sesame chicken are hands down the best! The breading is crunchy and the chicken is tender, and all the sauces are delicious. Our kids I've their lo mein noodles and even like all the veggies mixed in! General sos is just the right amount of spice, and the mango shrimp was one of the best I've tried! Great little place for lunch. I ordered the bbq Pork with fried rice and miso soup from the lunch special. Fried rice was your typical and the pork had an amazing flavor. This would have been the best bbq pork I had in years if it wasn't for the fact that was little hard and too fried. Remind me of the one panda express had long time ago. The miso was good, better than Asian stars but warmed not hot. The food was also warmed. The servers were always walking by and asking how I were which is good. I was setting by the "bar" area.
