I wanted Birria tacos and decided to give this place a try. It was a bit away from my hotel (15 min drive) so I hopped it would be good. I got the sampler, 2 tacos, a quesabirria taco and come thing that looked more like a birria tostada. It came out fast k my about a 5 min wait become birria is all they offer on the menu. Don't go in looking for any beans rice or other items, ALL BIRRIA!! Got back to my hotel and have a taco a try. It was good but lacked flavor even with the consume. Went for the quesabirria taco and found it to be better. I think the cheese helped out. I saved the other taco and tostada for the morning. I tired to warm them up for breakfast but they did. It warm well so I ended up throwing them out. Not a next day food. The taco shell (corn tortillas) fell apart and again the meat did not have very strong flavoring. It was very bland. We had the sampler which was 2 tacos, 1 quesotaco, 1 other thing I can't remember the name but it was basically the meat with cheese in between to corn tortillas. The service was friendly; however not very knowledgable as they did not know what gluten was. I was just hoping they didn't use any flour in their corn tortillas, which would be highly unusually. They do have one item that uses flour tortillas and one that uses a torta. The meat was well seasoned and moist. The prices are extremely reasonable. Like wow, we stopped by on Thanksgiving to feed the whole family before dinner and wow, just wow. We ordered 2 of the party trays (20 tacos per tray) with quesabirria and goodness gracious were they so quick. They gave us 6 bowls with verde, a hot sauce I've seen other places call Diablo, onion, pickled onion, cilantro and cabbage. You need to get a bowl of consommé to go with the birria. It's $2 for a 12 or 16 ounce cup (I'm not good at guesstimating) and this stuff is awesome! Some of the best birria and consommé we've had. It's too bad Yuma is too too far away from where we live!
