Asian buffet is a cheaper alternative to Lin's. The steam tables are smaller. Your choices are not as elaborate as Lins. But the food is adequate and reasonably fresh. The weight staff is friendly. And as I said, before the price point makes it an attractive choice. read more

Well, we were hoping buffets would come back after COVID but these buffets can only survive if they provide fresh food at all times and that can't happen unless u have tremendous traffic in your restaurant. The only plate we enjoyed was the freshly made Mongolian stir fry of your choice of meats and vegetables. The rest of the foods in the warming trays were not fresh and sometimes warm vs hot. Service was ok since the focus was to give u drinks and clear ur table of dirty dishes. This restaurant needs a complete makeover and modernization. The resteraunt was clean, the service was fine. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. Even my kids who will eat just about anything didn't like it. Post-COVID buffet options are less bountiful and generally less quality. The food here was OK. The sushi rice was not so fresh and the raw fish was bland but fairly fresh. The Mongolian BBQ was odd as there was no sauces to select. No bowl either, just put items on plate. Both chicken and beef were marginal. The food is cooked on a regular grill, not the traditional round grill. The seafood mix had plenty of shrimp but they were tasteless. Ice cream and apple tarts were good to cap off the very mediocre meal. That said, it is an AYCE joint, filled my stomach, and didn't make me ill. This review is a two in One! One of us ended up with gastric issues for three days after eating lots of dishes with Broccoli and green beans. The other of us passed on those dishes with meat sauce and crunchy vegetables BUT enjoyed the sushi, Rangoon, noodles and even a slice of pizza. The hot tea was Liptonish. And we were both underwhelmed with the mushy content of the egg roll or fried spring roll. There is a lot of room for improvement at this establishment! I love their salmon, the sushi bar, salad bar and ice cream bar. They keep me coming back for more. That is, when ever i'm in town. The staffit's always friendly and attentive. The restrooms are clean and restaurant is clean. The cold food is cold like it should and the hot food is hot like it should and very delicious. I highly recommend this place. read more

Well here I sit in Yuma Az, trying out this "Super Asian Buffet"! At $13.90 Its really small in comparison. Mostly non meat offerings, no orange chicken! But the few Chicken dishes were ok. First time eating here. I found the restaurant clean and well staffed. There was so much food to choose from. I didn't care for the beef in the beef broccoli, but the broccoli was perfect which is hard to get right. The staff was attentive to our needs always. They don't serve coke, but Pepsi. -worst buffet I've ever seen -overcooked and old food -no orange chicken -poor excuse for sushi First place I've seen with Asian food that didn't have Kikkoman soy sauce. The food was just absolutely disgusting. The only thing that was remotely good tasting was the chow mein and it was too oily. The meat was tough and dry. The greeter was talking on his cell phone the entire time I was there, seating people in a hurry, not paying attention to anything but his phone call like we were bothering him. A couple asked a waitress if they could sit somewhere else and the greeter completely missed that and continued to place their utensils and ticket on the table he picked. So far this is my favorite Asian buffet in town. It's lower priced than the others and the food is on par with the others. It's fun the have a sushi (or sushi like) made fresh through the the day. They have a whole park roast that you have to carve yourself which I find highly entertaining. Like all buffets you have to eat what is freshest put of the kitchen or chance that it will be dry or not as tasty. The service is always good. And they gave pudding. Which is delicious. read more

If this review was for the sushi and cocktail shrimp alone, it would get four stars. The sushi master obviously had some experience under her belt- she kept everything stocked with anything from your basic California rolls to unagi (eel) and an aesthetically creative crispy-tempura tuna roll. The variety was really good for a buffet... especially in Yuma. I didn't expect an Asian Buffet in Yuma to have a better variety than many in Southern California. Most of the rolls were on target as far as taste goes, but a couple of them were on the stronger rather than sweet side (I think some rice-vinegar was missing). Perhaps some pieces were not as sweet as the restaurant seemed to have a stronger Chinese influence. I say all this as someone who has had a good amount of sushi from here to Hong Kong to Japan and back again. There was a good variety overall as well, with about seven buffet tables to choose from. They mostly had asian-themed dishes such as breaded and orange chicken, short ribs, mongolian beef, etc. They also had "non-Asian" items like cocktail shrimps, steaks, salad, chicken quesadillas, pizza, fruits, desserts, etc. The variety was outweighed by the quality of the entrees though. Most items were either lukewarm or a bit tough, and sometimes both. I've definitely had better food at asian buffets in those areas. Overall, to conclude on a positive note, you can get a good amount of sushi for around $10 (lunch is even less with a military discount)! Not bad!
