We love Lin's Grand Buffet. As a family we go there to celebrate just about every milestone in our young niece's life as it is her favorite place to eat. We go to the one in the Phoenix area for those occasions. We have been to this location in Yuma a couple of times now and it is right up there with our closer-to-home location. Is it often very busy? Yes, but that is just a sign of how popular the place is. Take it as a good sign. Their food selection is incredible, and everything is hot and ready. Grab a clean plate and load up. Love all of the meat options - Sweet and Sour Pork, General Tso's Chicken, Broccoli Beef, etc. Too many to name here. These are my weakness when at Lin's. We are here on a Monday afternoon in August, 20-25. The food is hot and fresh and quite tasty. There is more selection than I can sample without being a gluten. Lunch total for two was under $30. This is less than the cost at Golden corral, and about the same as the cost at the other Asian buffet in Yuma. If I had to choose between the two this one wins hands down. Well. Few things that really bothered me about this place. 1. Staff are absolutely rude. They act like the simple task of refilling drinks or assisting customers is a huge inconvenience to them. This also includes refilling silverware, namely spoons. Myself and my wife asked for spoons for our soups and got told that everything was dirty, go use plastic spoons. For the entirety of our meal, that issue was never taken care of. 2. Biggest concern. Food safety. Many of their cold food items are well outside of the temperature danger zones, and have been sitting out for extended periods of time without being replaced, including salads, and sushi. Shortly after leaving, my wife was puking on the side of the road the entire way back home after eating the sushi. This is the second time we have gone there in two years, and that's because the first time we had a similarly bad experience, but we thought we would give it another try. The server sat us down and gave us our drinks and then we never saw her again, the food was oily and dry and we were incredibly thirsty but the server just stayed at the drinks station and never came around to pick up our plates which were a lot considering it was four of us. We were there for an hour with pretty much no service. I wanted a refund since they made us have a horrible time and they told me that I needed to talk to my server if I had any issues with the service but how could I even talk to her if she never even came around to begin with. To call it an Asian buffet is actually a misnomer to me because the non-Asian food is as good as the Asian food. A large dining room means you can get in fairly quickly and the wait staff is right on top of making sure you get your drinks and taking away your empty plates so you can go get more food. Went for late lunch, early dinner. The buffet item items were quite good, hot, with a good selection. They also offer Mongolian grill, with a rather small selection. Had to wait, ring bell several times, and finally had to ask someone for help. The lady that came out took my selections and then tossed them on the grill. Then went over and mixed something up. When she finished she did not go to the hand washing sink, but to another sink, with no soap, renced her gloved hands, wiped them on her aperon, and came back to the grill. They observe social distancing, mask wearing, and sanitation. You even have to wear gloves in order to get your food at the buffet trays. They provide the gloves. Good selection of Chinese, Japanese, American, Mongolian, and even Mexican food! I didn't get to try the Mexican food as my stomach was full after 2 plates lol. A buffet of the highest order, for Yuma. The decor is nice, and they have specialty nights (Mongolian, etc). The food and presentation I rate it on a grade scale between B+-A. After our most recent trip there I reserved my review until the day after, to see if my wife and kids were okay (they have weak stomachs) but things were okay. I am sorry to say we were very, very disappointed. All of the food was cold, most of the vegies were hard - not even partially cooked. There was very little identification tags on any of the food trays. The few trays that were identified had the wrong food item placed in the tray. I find this especially disconcerting because I am allergic to all shell fish and didn't want to try anything that was not obvious shell fish. Most of the food was overcooked and dry. The egg rolls were cooked hard and dry, the chicken was unrecognizable because it was so overcooked and dry, most all the noodles were overcooked and tasteless. The restaurant was so uncomfortably cold we left soon after finishing our partially completed lunch. This was a very unacceptable meal. It was unpleasant and frustrating. A hugeeeee difference from the 1st Buffet I tried here in Yuma! Very friendly staff and unlike some other Buffets I have eaten at this one has a very tasty variety. Each individual item actually has its own destinct taste. Price wise kinda high but again given the vareity and fresh tasting food it makes the price worth it. I guess they stop refilling the buffet an hour before they close. When I got there, the pickings were pretty slim and they were out of nearly a quarter of the buffet and many of the other dishes were practically crumbs. During my whole meal, they didn't restock a single thing. Not even the rice, which I figured would be the one thing they'd keep full. And the cook that manned the grill disappeared. Maybe it's worth going during the early evening or afternoon, but I can only rate this experience. $16 was too much for the quality of food available. read more

For 10 dollars for all you can eat at lunch it's a pretty good deal..... The only problem I have with the 2 times I've been here is the food temperature. For the price, it was worth it. If you are a fan of seafood... shrimp, salmon & sushi....there was plenty... no crab legs though. If you are vegan, choose your veggies & they will stir-fry fresh for you. (Beware..ask for no butter!) We made the mistake of going on a Friday at 8:00. Not a great idea as staff is in a hurry to get home and items were limited. The hostess was the worst, partly because she wore a mask while giving instructions behind glass so I couldn't understand her. We were that last people to show up and she was annoyed that we were so late, they close at 9:00. She tried to seat us at a table when all the booths were empty. Even though no one else was waiting and the restaurant was nearly empty, she had to call out our " number" to seat us. I demanded a booth which she became annoyed at. Went here during the trip to Yuma and it wasn't bad food. Usually when you go to a buffet you get nasty food for the most part. I went and just wanted some vegetables and got exactly what I wanted. They were all fresh not over cooked not drenched in a sauce or anything like that. I can't eat meat or fried foods so a lot of things were off limits for me but what I did have was good. I'm not a big fan of buffets. I was with someone that wanted to go and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of choices and freshness of most of the offerings. The sushi is heavy on the rice and if you are a regular sushi eater you will probably stay in another area of the buffet. The steamer trays of Chinese style food were rotated and fresh. The pieces of fish were also fresh and the salmon was not mushy. Desert with fruit is something i would recommend saving some room. Simple pudding or soft serve with toppings. Kinda pricey if you are not going to binge on calories. The extra money they charge gives you more options and higher quality food than other buffets. Parking is out front and around the building.
