No room service no in room fridge or microwave. If you're wanting to take some beer from the casino cuz there's none in the gift shop the bar opens each one so be prepared to chug it down or have it go flat. There's no snacks in the vending machines on the hotel floor. The decor was very sad. Scratches gouged beat up. Floor tiles cracked and chipped and dirty grout. For the price paid I was expecting something better than a Motel 6 ambiance and customer service, which was ok. However, doesn't compare to other casino hotels Ive stayed. The best thing I can say it was close to the boarder and public transit was cheap and easy but didn't run on schedule. Happy to have my dental and ophthalmology services completed with this hotel being the closest. As for amenities the food at the sidewinder was good however, my prime rib and baked potato was cold. I did Send it back and they brought me the order back piping hot. The Café food was delicious. Unfortunately at the time I could only have soup. Which the cream of mushroom was fantastic! The slot machines were average, maybe if I had won a jackpot my rating would be higher. I didn't win big but won enough to pay for my meals and pathetic hotel. read more

I have to say that I wasn't surprised when I went on Yelp and saw that the Quechan casino had a 2.4 rating out of almost 300 ratings. Pretty bad I imagine most of the complaints are the casino itself however mine is for the border parking lot that they operate right adjacent to their casino at the Algodones Mexico border entry. I went down for some dental work, parked there and paid the $15 per day for overnight and when I departed even a day early, I realized I had left my hand carved cane at the hotel right across the border. The gentleman at the hotel rushed over to bring me my cane on the American side however, they would not let me pull back into the parking area without paying an additional $10 just to get a cane from this guy. I mean I'm handicapped and I cannot walk very far but they were real rude about it and it was just like sorry you gotta pay the extra 10 bucks even though I was departing a day early. I turned around and went out to the main road where you can be fine for stopping, and the guy met me there and then one of the parking lot attendance came out and in a very rude way that you need to move now even though there was no traffic and I was just recovering my cane from the hotel person. You can tell by the way that employees behave that it comes from the top and the culture. It's instilled by upper management. What a shame so if you can find another place to park, which is probably pretty tough to do I would recommend it or drive in which I wished I would have because waiting for a while would've been better than paying $15 a day and then have to deal with rudeness on top of it. read more

One of the worst places I ever stayed. From the moment you walk in to to not be greeted by staff but to be interrogated about checking in. Once situated, food wasn't the best but at least not over priced. Security follows you around watching your every move for no apparent reason. Altercation with Security taking our drinks at 1:45am after they were served to us at 1:30am . Literally stood there waiting for us to hand them our drinks. Bugs in the room. Hallway on 1st floor all tore up and rooms close with caution tape. Will never return. read more

This has to be the worst casino for winning. Spending $1,000 on one machine and not hitting doesn't happen. I've been to many casinos, and this has to be the worst; not one machine around me won. This is the fifth time I've been to this casino, and every time I spent $1,000 to $2,000 with no wins. These slot machine games are rigged. This time we stayed at the casino resort. The resort is terrible; the rooms need to be updated as they are like a Motel 6 - uncomfortable beds, rough sheets, and pillows that smell. Two outlets weren't working, the makeup mirror was hanging off the wall, and the alarm charger doesn't charge quickly enough. It takes 11 hours to charge my iPhone. The A/C sounds like a rocket about to take off; it's so loud and hard to sleep. The TVs are old, not smart TVs. As I mentioned, this place needs to be updated. The pool area was not fully functional. There's no refill on soda when you purchase a fountain drink, and no free drinks while playing. Like I said, this has to be the worst casino I've been to. The only good thing was the lady at check-in, Harley; she was very polite and professional. read more

We came to the hotel early and paid the extra money for early check -up. Hotel was booked maybe for 60%. We got a dirty room which been infested with bugs. I called to front desk and finally after 1,5 hours somebody came and vacuumed the room to get reed from the bugs which did not work. Later I came down and asked to change the room but in 1,5 hour because we have a toddler who been sleeping in the room at this time. The front desk clerk (Lesley) did not pay attention to my word . She gave us new room and 30 minutes to move out our staff. I am long time after 70 years old and not able to move anything and been waiting for my husband and son to come back and take care. I had to find a manager who asked to cancel the new room reservation which allowed to us to change the room for our convenience. I told to the front desk lady to give me a minute to call my son and make the decision. At this time she was already angry and furious and did not listen to me.She canceled again the room. I would like to ask the management of the hotel why they sell dirty room with bugs and why their front desk staff are not trained properly. I will not recommend this hotel. read more

I shared in detail our experience with the hotel in hopes of improvement but if you have a choice, I wouldn't waste your hard earned money on this hotel. The staff lacks of proper training and manners, their computer system seems very slow or too complicated for them to do anything in a timely manner. The Pool view King Suite at $185/night had awful smell, lots of stains everywhere, the wood furniture was heavily damaged, falling apart, missing hardware, the leather chairs terribly worn and scratched, the windows so caked you couldn't see out. I stayed at the Q they require a $100 deposit and of course your Visa has to be used and I had had some hair dye bleed off of my hair that I had already died and they charged me $200 for a couple towels and I talked to him about it and they said if there's any stains at all on any of the towels or Linens they throw them away and charge you they don't wash them so nope don't recommend it they ripped me off and I didn't win read more

Did not have a good experience at the cafe. My husbands order was screwed up and after waiting 20 min to correct order we decided to ask for a refund. Well, apparently the manager has not been properly trained because she could not give a refund. This little refuge is located at the USA Mexican border of Los Algodones. We have stopped by this casino many times after dental work and have won some and lost some but we did notice that this casino is smoke free and very clean. This Friday my husband needed dental work and we were not sure if it was going to be a two day trip so we took an overnight bag thank goodness because it was! I was able to book a room quickly online on the Quechan website. When we got to our room we noticed it had a great air conditioner it was 110 outside so we were thankful for that. The room was very clean, nothing fancy but it had a coffee maker and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. It's the little things that make us say "we will be coming back". They have a large pool and a lazy river. Oh, we also had a wonderful dinner at their steakhouse. We highly recommend this hotel read more

Horrible customer service, particularly at the front desk/hotel check in. After mixing up our reservation, we were forced to book a new room. Upon checkout, they said we never showed up for the initial reservation (the one they lost) and charged us a cancellation fee. We stayed 4 nights because of the proximity to Algodones Mexico for dental work. Every employee from the front desk to the restaurants were both helpful & kind. The pool area was nice. We went in the jacuzzi a few times & actually had it to ourselves. The only downside to our stay would be that the rooms were a little "dated" but they were very clean & that's more important to me. read more

1st time visiting this casino, did not stay as long as we needed to drive back to San Diego. It is located a few miles before hitting the Arizona & California Border to Yuma... or on your way from Yuma to El Centro off Highway 8. Came to check out the amenities and do a little gambling. The inlaws come here a few times and it is kid friendly. You can get A-day pass for the pool and the pool is open until 10 PM. Only played about $20 didn't win. The inlaws ended up staying a little bit longer. It is a smaller casino compared to Vegas casinos. However the casino was very clean, there's no smoking or vaping, the bathrooms were very clean. Would come back to stay a little longer. They have a high roller room, a bar, a Cafe and a restaurant. Plenty of parking all around the casino with a couple different entrances/exits. read more

Overall we had a nice time, due to good food, good service and not many people in the pool. We hate overcrowded pools. The main reason why it did not get 5 stars was cleanliness! The lazy river pool was super dirty but the other pool was clean. The room was dirty as well and we even found someones old dunkin donuts bottle when we pulled out the sofa bed which was disgusting. We also paid for a toll away bed which i thought would be there by the time we got to our room but I had to call at night to have it delivered. We were also so confused with the time since they never updated their clocks. We were running a hour early but it really was an an hour ahead of what real time was. read more

I DO NOT recommend this hotel! Booked one night and wanted to use pool but it was closed. Next day it is open but check out is 11am, got extended until 12 after calling to see if pool was open. Never did anyone say once you check out you can't use the pool. Went to breakfast and came back and they told me it would be $25, oh and then "that's per person" to use the pool, even when we could not use the pool the day before. Manager Maribel was no help, not willing to help out the customer or having any compassion just a bunch of BS excuses. Horrible customer service!!! read more

Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area for dental work in MX. The hotel is well equipped with a steak house, a nice casual restaurant and a grill. Staff were the most friendliest. The casino floor is lively and again staffed with very good and knowledgeable dealers. The pool is proper for the area. The rooms however area. bit dated and need to be updated. But otherwise, couldn't recommend a better place to stay for dental work in Algodones. read more

We came to the Gila food court/Starbucks this afternoon for the clam chowder. It was delicious. The loaded nachos is a large portion with lots of meat and toppings. The salads are grab and go. Some of the sandwiches are also in the display case with sweets and drinks. We dined on the patio in view of the waterfall, lazy River and pool. Service: depended on the individual associate. Some were indifferent, others friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable and portion size generous. read more

This review is for the lower level food court at the casino. Starbucks coffee and baked treats plus quick breakfasts to go or to eat in their small indoor area. Food is excellently priced and tasty. This casino also has 2 other restaurants, but this is like a fast food choice. We stop here often our way to see dentists across the border into Mexico.
