If you're wanting to take some beer from the casino cuz there's none in the gift shop the bar opens each one so be prepared to chug it down or have it go flat. There's no snacks in the vending machines on the hotel floor. The decor was very sad. Scratches gouged beat up. Floor tiles cracked and chipped and dirty grout. For the price paid I was expecting something better than a Motel 6 ambiance and customer service, which was ok. However, doesn't compare to other casino hotels Ive stayed. The best thing I can say it was close to the boarder and public transit was cheap and easy but didn't run on schedule. Happy to have my dental and ophthalmology services completed with this hotel being the closest. As for amenities the food at the sidewinder was good however, my prime rib and baked potato was cold. I did Send it back and they brought me the order back piping hot. The Café food was delicious. Unfortunately at the time I could only have soup. Which the cream of mushroom was fantastic! This has to be the worst casino for winning. Spending $1,000 on one machine and not hitting doesn't happen. I've been to many casinos, and this has to be the worst; not one machine around me won. This is the fifth time I've been to this casino, and every time I spent $1,000 to $2,000 with no wins. These slot machine games are rigged. This time we stayed at the casino resort. The resort is terrible; the rooms need to be updated as they are like a Motel 6 - uncomfortable beds, rough sheets, and pillows that smell. Two outlets weren't working, the makeup mirror was hanging off the wall, and the alarm charger doesn't charge quickly enough. It takes 11 hours to charge my iPhone. The A/C sounds like a rocket about to take off; it's so loud and hard to sleep. The TVs are old, not smart TVs. As I mentioned, this place needs to be updated. The pool area was not fully functional. There's no refill on soda when you purchase a fountain drink, and no free drinks while playing. Like I said, this has to be the worst casino I've been to. I shared in detail our experience with the hotel in hopes of improvement but if you have a choice, I wouldn't waste your hard earned money on this hotel. The staff lacks of proper training and manners, their computer system seems very slow or too complicated for them to do anything in a timely manner. The Pool view King Suite at $185/night had awful smell, lots of stains everywhere, the wood furniture was heavily damaged, falling apart, missing hardware, the leather chairs terribly worn and scratched, the windows so caked you couldn't see out. I don't gamble at all and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The food is top notch, my room was nice and the pool is un-be-lievable.

Food court was terrible. One of the worst Idian tacos I have ever had. Burger we had was like eating a hockey puck. Lesson learned.

Did not have a good experience at the cafe. My husbands order was screwed up and after waiting 20 min to correct order we decided to ask for a refund. Well, apparently the manager has not been properly trained because she could not give a refund. Upon checkout, they said we never showed up for the initial reservation (the one they lost) and charged us a cancellation fee. This little refuge is located at the USA Mexican border of Los Algodones. We have stopped by this casino many times after dental work and have won some and lost some but we did notice that this casino is smoke free and very clean. This Friday my husband needed dental work and we were not sure if it was going to be a two day trip so we took an overnight bag thank goodness because it was! I was able to book a room quickly online on the Quechan website. When we got to our room we noticed it had a great air conditioner it was 110 outside so we were thankful for that. The room was very clean, nothing fancy but it had a coffee maker and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. It's the little things that make us say "we will be coming back". They have a large pool and a lazy river. Oh, we also had a wonderful dinner at their steakhouse. We highly recommend this hotel read more

We stayed 4 nights because of the proximity to Algodones Mexico for dental work. Every employee from the front desk to the restaurants were both helpful & kind. The pool area was nice. We went in the jacuzzi a few times & actually had it to ourselves. The only downside to our stay would be that the rooms were a little "dated" but they were very clean & that's more important to me. read more

1st time visiting this casino, did not stay as long as we needed to drive back to San Diego. It is located a few miles before hitting the Arizona & California Border to Yuma... or on your way from Yuma to El Centro off Highway 8. Came to check out the amenities and do a little gambling. The inlaws come here a few times and it is kid friendly. You can get A-day pass for the pool and the pool is open until 10 PM. Only played about $20 didn't win. The inlaws ended up staying a little bit longer. It is a smaller casino compared to Vegas casinos. However the casino was very clean, there's no smoking or vaping, the bathrooms were very clean. Would come back to stay a little longer. They have a high roller room, a bar, a Cafe and a restaurant. Plenty of parking all around the casino with a couple different entrances/exits. read more

I DO NOT recommend this hotel! Booked one night and wanted to use pool but it was closed. Next day it is open but check out is 11am, got extended until 12 after calling to see if pool was open. Never did anyone say once you check out you can't use the pool. Went to breakfast and came back and they told me it would be $25, oh and then "that's per person" to use the pool, even when we could not use the pool the day before. Manager Maribel was no help, not willing to help out the customer or having any compassion just a bunch of BS excuses. Horrible customer service!!! read more

Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area for dental work in MX. The hotel is well equipped with a steak house, a nice casual restaurant and a grill. Staff were the most friendliest. The casino floor is lively and again staffed with very good and knowledgeable dealers. The pool is proper for the area. Overall we had a nice time, due to good food, good service and not many people in the pool. We hate overcrowded pools. The main reason why it did not get 5 stars was cleanliness! The lazy river pool was super dirty but the other pool was clean. The room was dirty as well and we even found someones old dunkin donuts bottle when we pulled out the sofa bed which was disgusting. We also paid for a toll away bed which i thought would be there by the time we got to our room but I had to call at night to have it delivered. We came to the Gila food court/Starbucks this afternoon for the clam chowder. It was delicious. The loaded nachos is a large portion with lots of meat and toppings. The salads are grab and go. Some of the sandwiches are also in the display case with sweets and drinks. We dined on the patio in view of the waterfall, lazy River and pool. Service: depended on the individual associate. Some were indifferent, others friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable and portion size generous. read more

This casino also has 2 other restaurants, but this is like a fast food choice. We stop here often our way to see dentists across the border into Mexico. We had stayed at Quechan in the past and had made reservations to stay there again. Circumstances beyond our control prevented us from making the trip so we contacted the casino to cancel our reservation only to be told it was there policy not to issue refunds on unused rooms. We suggested giving us a voucher for a future stay, but that wasn't their policy either. I believe that if they took better care of their "valued customers" that they would be able to keep them instead of having to spend more money on advertising to attract new customers. I would not recommend Staying at Quechan Casino. They could have very easily kept this customer happy, but it was against their policy. Don't let this happen to you. read more

Stayed here 2 nights on a business trip. Not a bad place to sleep in a short amount of time. Showers were hot but drained poorly. Ended up ankle high in water by the time I was finished. That explains the dirty tub so I just threw a towel on the bottom so I didn't have to touch anything gross. Beds long overdue for new mattresses. Everything else seems clean. No microwave, no mini fridge.... Couldn't find an ice machine for my lunch box... Food court was ok but well enough in a commercial vehicle as nothing else is around. Higher prices well worth it. Almost broke a tooth eating a southwestern chicken wrap. Had tortilla chips inside that were way passed stale. I mean I thought it was a chicken bone. Other than that it was good. Plenty of parking for RVs, trailers, buses, and big rigs... No gambling on company time so unknown about the casino. But lots of sad faces.... read more

We stayed in a deluxe suite at this resort this past weekend (Fri-Sun). It's a nice small little resort right off the 8 freeway. Check-in was easy, and the woman who helped us was pleasant. Upon heading to our rooms, you could tell the resort needed repairs. As we entered our suite, we were surprised it came with 2 bathrooms, one off the sitting area and one in the bedroom. We had a little one with us, so that was very helpful. We dined at Sidewinders for dinner; the service and the $3 margaritas were horrible. We had a large party of 10, and when the food came out, it was cold; they even forgot someone in our party's food. By the time they received their food, everyone else was almost done with their meal. After dinner, we headed out by the lazy river to relax and have a few drinks. It was nice because no one was outside, and we had the area to ourselves. A few hours later, we decided to call it a night and head to our room. I began to pull out and make up the sofa bed for the little one as she was sleepy. I grabbed some extra pillows from the closet, and a few minutes later, we saw a cockroach crawling on one of the pillows. I don't know if it came from the pillows or the sofa bed. I immediately grabbed the pillow and went to the sink to throw it in there. It did not want to go down the drain!! After a minute or two, it finally went down the drain. Something told me to recheck the sink, and what do you know, it crawled out and was on the counter. I grabbed a plastic cup to trap it and flushed it down the toilet. We told the front desk and showed them the picture, and they offered to move us that night to a regular room, or we could get a discount. It was late, and we had already unpacked, so we opted for a possible discount. They asked us to come back in the morning so they could talk to the manager. The next day they called us and said they could offer a 15% discount. We also had the smoke detector going off because the battery was dying. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance to replace the battery. Upon checking out, we saw they only discounted one night, and the other night was priced slightly higher than our original reservation stated. We were eager to go home, so I called the next day to inquire why we were charged extra for one night. The answer I received was when you make a reservation, you are given a median price. Since it was a Friday, the prices were slightly higher. That didn't make any sense because why would they not quote you the actual price so you know what you will be charged ahead of time? I booked two rooms, and the other room was charged accurately, as my reservation stated. The woman on the phone wasn't accommodating and didn't even offer to price match my reservation. I will never stay at this resort again and will be sure to tell my friends and family about this place. read more
