Dee and Dave were fantastic hosts. Because we were staying 3 weeks, Dee made sure we got a site with afternoon shade. We were there to take care of family business and needed the names of a trustworthy realtor and estate auctioneer and Dave provided excellent recommendations. Dee and Dave took time to include our 9 year old grandson in conversations and would entertain him when he would randomly show up at the camp store. Was looking for a quick 1-night stay and saw KOA and booked it. While on the road looked at the reviews and was very worried. It's newly under the KOA brand and they are making great progress. Most of the reviews prior to 2026 are no longer an issue. Easy clean level spaces, restroom very clean. nicely located near old town. Talked to Manager and the plans coming. They are cleaning up beach access next week and planning a lagoon, boat ramp, pool and pickle ball courts between now and spring 2027. read more

Pretty plane and level. NO river access. quite smelly and the campsite that we reserved had bird poop all over the picnic bench. It hadn't been cleaned in days. The least they could do when people reserve a site is clean the bird crap off the picnic benches. Fine for very quick over night. read more

Ok place if you're staying overnight. On the outskirts of town so not much to do here. No real amenities. Expensive place for an overnight stay if that's what you're looking for. Probably better off boondocking if you don't need utilities. read more

The old lady that tries to run the place has evidently lost her mind , she is over charging on electricity per kilowatt at .20.5 cents per Aps electric Co. Says Nobody in Yuma area is charged that much flat out . It may take her days for her to be able to figure out your rent and electric bill as one month it wasn't until the 10th before she finally was able , she is a very confused and wicked old lady that will snap at you for just anything !​ read more

It's inexpensive and the people seem to be very nice. You just wanna make sure you stay in the park because it's kind of on the outskirts.. my relatives love to ride their bikes on the paths that they have down to the water. read more

We were very pleased with this RV park. It's an older park but worked perfectly for us. Our reservations were only for three nights but everything was just as expected. The sites are good sized with a concrete patio and room for your vehicle. The park is close to just about everything including a state park with lots of trails next door. The only complaint I would say we had is we were directed to our site for backing in on the passenger side instead of the driver's side. Usually directions are given for the site to be on the drivers side for easier backing in but all worked fine. This park also backs the Colorado River. I'm not sure if any kayaking or river activities are available but it was nice checking out the flowing river. We would definitely consider staying here again should we return to the area. read more

We stayed at Riverfront for two years. We liked the location. The second year we had a problem with the 50 amp service to our RV. The old lady who owns (owned?) the place came and fixed the outlet herself. We left shortly after and when we returned the next fall she gave us the same spot. When I plugged in to the outlet it fried my charger and inverter. We checked into the situation and found she had left the neutral line loose and it had came out. We had to drive 150 miles to San Diego to get the charger repaired at a cost of $350. We then had to drive the 300 mile round-trip back to San Diego to pick up the charger when it was repaired. She refused to give any compensation and told me my repair was my fault because I did not have a good enough monitor on our bus. We left and will never go back. read more

West side of Yuma, AZ. There two nites. Huge park! Office is in the middle. Fit our 40 ft coach in, a little snug. We had a view of the CO River from the front of our rig. Pretty cool. Longterm neighbors around us were friendly. You have to get tokens from the office for washer/dryers. read more

Not much good to say about this place. Small, dusty, crowded sites. Lots of antiques & ancient vehicles used as decoration. Trying to look like an old western town. Looks like mostly full timers. Small laundry room. Cash only. read more

Nice location right on the Colorado River and next to West Wetlands Park. Lots of nice people and fairly relaxed atmosphere and shade from Ficus trees is good in some spots. Laundry works and is cheap and the clubhouse is rustic and okay. But the place is kind of run-down and maintenance and upkeep are lagging. Electrical system is shoddy and owner does not care. Many sewer lines are loose and strangely angled and need help. Gravel throughout except the main roads. No dog park except the West Wetlands park next door so many folks walk their dogs there and many do not pick up after their pets. Dogs are restricted to the front spaces so at least they are not always right around. Wide area by the river is wasted space and should be used for pets but is just dirt. Owner quotes different prices on different days so do not be surprised when quoted price is not what you get on rent or electricity. read more

Talked to owner today. She is an interesting friendly person who I would love to become her friend. She is so knowledgeable of Yuma and will make you feel welcome to the area. Cool place to camp. Nice clean sites. Will be back to camp. read more

This is a lovely older park. Lots of antiques decor and access to old Yuma and I-8 is wonderful I love being near the water, parks and the miles and miles of hiking and bike trails I feel anyone interested in the history of the area this park is for you It does not have a pool nor planned activities but as I mentioned above to walk or bike along beautiful water canals and the Colorado River is wonderful Also the owner Jean is very knowledgeable on Yuma and the other campers are very friendly and interesting read more

I had to jiggle the electric plug before it finally made the proper connection. The park greeter turned out to be the neighborhood busy body who gave me detailed parking instructions contrary to what the manager approved. This from a woman who spends the day walking her dog in a park that says absolutely no dogs in the park. It's a funky place. You get what you pay for. read more

After 3 months in Vegas Oc-Mid Jan, arriving in Yuma was like getting out of Jail.. I found River Front RV Park on line with only 1 review. We like older established parks and we like QUIET. River Front was a breath of fresh air. We stayed from Jan 17, 2014 to April 27. Every one we met was friendly and we made several friends we will look forward to seeing again this coming Oct when we will head back there for the winter. Quirky older park, office and clubhouse full of roadside sign and antiques Great place for overnight stay. Rate is $25 for a level gravel pull thru with a slab. Everybody is very friendly I called ahead and told them I would be arriving after dark and they had somebody meet us and help get us into our spot. I think it is really 3 1/2 just for the fact it is pretty basic. Yet the place is fine. Restrooms were locked up by 8 pm maybe before. That would be a problem if you wanted to use showers. Small restroom and showers I believe for overnight use by office, but sign said no water we were able to use, but would not be able to find in dark. Place is close to downtown and very quite with no hwy or air plane noise. Even with proximity to river there is no access from their grounds.GPS will hey you close after you drive thru a neighborhood over canal and not very used tracks make a left before entrance to county park. In dark very hard to find along canal. They have a light over sign but does not work. read more
