We spent 2 months at the palms this winter (Jan - Feb) what an amazing place. It all starts with the gated security who are beyond friendly. Totally walled in facility. The RV lots differ dependent on where you park but this is the cleanest resort we have ever been to. We went to the February concerts, they were amazing. The pool and hot tubs are very clean. Lots of friendly neighbors, both owners and renters, lots of dog walking. The weather was spectacular, it only rained 1 time in 2 months, lots of shopping close by, and many good restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the Palms resort so much we booked for 6 months for the winter season in 2026. See you in October. read more

We have been coming to the Palms since 2015 , very spacious rv sites, nice pools and two spas, lots of things to do . Restaurant and cabana bar on site. You will fall in love with this place as soon as you drive in the gated resort. read more

Perfect if you are married, over 65 and like to walk your dog. It looks like a lot of activities but most of them require a $6 fee. Many houses are being built on the small lots. The pool felt chilly to me. Beautiful sunsets and glorious sunrises. I like the WalkFit video classes the most and the clean gym. read more

We were very upset with this facility. We had stayed there for one night a couple months ago. We didn't have time to utilize any of their amenities at that time. We called in the morning on our return trip to make reservations to stay for a couple nights to resource on our way home. They requested a photo of our 1992 Class C motorhome. This unit is in excellent condition and only has 85,000 miles on it. We sent the photo promptly and received confirmation of receipt. All of this was completed before 10:00am. Some time after 5:00pm we were notified that our unit was too old to be allowed to stay at their resort. By that time, offices at other parks were closed. It took quite some time to find a park that would answer the phone after hours. If you wish to be treated with respect, I would not suggest calling this facility read more

From first glance you found the nicest RV and Home resort in Yuma. Unfortunately the GM is extremely dishonest. Don't buy in this park and If you must don't use the GM as your builder. He will find another buyer at a higher price and break your contract. Other than him and his 40 years of dishonest business dealings, the park was ok. We stumbled upon this place after looking at several other places that were dumps. We are not rich nor do we have a new shiny RV. We checked in after hours with no reservations. Guard at the gate couldn't have been nicer and Murray helped us back into our spot in no time! Murray needs a raise, super happy guy. Front desk ladies were great as well. We decided to stay an extra week everything was so nice. Pool, spa, dog park and the whole thing is gated. Feels very safe. Not really sure about those negative reviews. Who cares about giving the dogs names? Our dogs are family, no problem giving the names. Anyway... you don't have to be a snob, just have to enjoy nice things at a good price. read more

My husband and I relocated our 43' diesel pusher from another RV park in Yuma. The Palms was absolutely the BEST RV park we ever stayed in. Gorgeous pools and jacuzzi's, huge ballroom, very well/equipped exercise room, and securely gated. We liked it so much, we bought a lot and had a small custom home built on it. It's a quick 15-minute drive to Los Algodones (Mexico) for shopping, cheap prescriptions, affordable dental, and great food and music. Literally -- 400 steps from the parking lot, and you're enjoying a mini-vacation in Mexico. The Palms only allows RV's less than 10-years old, so it's not a wrecking yard like some others in Yuma. Park is about 50% Americans and 50% Canadians in the winter. Great neighbors, great amenities, and the absolute Best place to spend winter! read more

Sharing my experience at the Palms. We were in contract to purchase a home. Several mistakes were made in the beginning of construction. The Palms forced us out of our contract and sold it for more money than what we were in contract for. It all makes sense now. If your looking to buy in AZ, be careful who you work with. read more

I'll start by saying that I don't live at the resort--but I do live in Yuma and the Palms R V Resort is a really good partner to the whole Yuma community. David and I have attended concerts here like Gordon Lightfoot--and most recently, the Palms was the site for the Humane Society of Yuma's casino fund-raiser night. Nice location, adequate acoustics, the women's restroom was clean and nicely appointed....so, yeah, good neighbors to the Yuma community and a good place to come. read more

I was planning to stay with about four other Airstreamers at the Palm after a Alumafiesta event in Tucson, AZ. I have an 80K vintage trailer that is absolutely gorgeous. They refused to let me camp with my friends because my trailer is older than 10 years. I was/am amazed at their lack of knowledge regarding classic vintage trailers which have made a resurgence and are flooding campgrounds across the USA. Don't support them by staying at this campground. read more

By far the best RV park in Yuma and the best I've stayed at in Arizona. It is in the class of Outdoor Resorts but they take a different approach in letting the lot owners stick build a villa. Lot's are oversized and facilities are first class with Las Vegas class shows. What's not to like? read more

Don't plan on cancelling for any reason. We paid for our 4 nights in full and when we had to change our plans 10 days out we were told that there would be NO REFUND. They will not refund for that few of nights....hmm... that is kinda crappy. I understand a percentage or possibly one night not being refunded, but the whole thing. What a racket.... we will never stay here and will pass it on to our many RVing friends to do the same. read more

First class park, large spaces. I believe Palms RV and Del Pueblo are the best RV parks in Yuma area. We have stayed at both. Palms is very expensive this (2015) Jan and Feb was $999 per month plus electricity. I won't mention the pluses because they are many check out their web site for details. The minuses are poor cable TV we had to use over the air antenna for better picture quality and as we have come to expect at most RV parks is poor Wi-Fi also no picnic table at site. I believe Yelp should remove the one star of a prior poster since the Palms RV web site if very clear that RVs over 10 years old are not welcome. We will stay here the next time we winter in Yuma. read more

We stayed at the Palms RV Resort in April, 2017. We made some great friends and decided to book 4 months for the 2018 season. We spent DAYS riding around the park with and map of available lots to rent for Jan-April of 2018. We finally made our decision (in April 2017) and put down a deposit. Now... in October 2017, I received a call from The Palms telling me that the lot that we so carefully selected had been sold and we only had ONE alternative lot to rent. This lot that they were offering us was a very primitive/undeveloped lot with nothing but gravel outdoor living space. The lot we reserved, had a nice paver type patio and some landscaping. I double checked with the The Palms and they confirmed THIS primitive lot was the only one available. I cancelled as I couldn't see us living in gravel for 4 months. This afternoon I was informed by The Palms that they will refund my deposit LESS $75.00 and we should expect to see it in 30 days. I asked if this could be considered an exception to their cancellation policy, since the "contract" had actually changed. Their response is below: Mr. XXXXX Per my GM,: "The only time we do not charge a deposit is when it is medically necessary therefore no exception. Your refund of $420 will be refunded within 30 nights." No apologies for this, nothing... just this is the way it is, and that's it! They could totally make a scam out of this, one $75 theft at a time. We will NOT be renting from The Palms in the future. read more

This was the worst customer service we have ever had..we have a class A motor home American Eagle with three slides, paying over $200,000.00... this not to brag by no means, but we tried to make reservations and they would NOT accommodate us unless we took a photo of our motor home and emailed it to them for approval. NEVER has this happened to us. I can see how they feel they want to keep out tent trailer types but they were NOT nice. First question they had was if we had pets...then I had to give each pet's name...WHY? I thought this was ridiculous but they were serious...we would NOT stay in this place if it was free now. Great facilities! Best in Yuma. Stayed in a unit - pool and band were great. Definitely will return later this winter.
