People are very friendly also The stars given are for all those things mentioned Now the issues is WIFI and Cable TV Wifi is unusable anywhere except at the resort facilities.The web site says cable is included but that is not true I went to the office to inquire and was told not cable is supplied period This is a very nice place to camp a bit far from all things shopping (12 miles) You get road noise from highway Perfect for 2-3 months stay (you can order your own cable and internet Not perfect if your just spending a week or 2 Apparently it's ok for workers to walk tru your campsite at 8:15 in morning for no apparent reasons(he took a shortcut to get back to his truck I informed him that he was breaking the rules and apologized. A few minutes later the ground manager came to defend his worker and argued with me ( I'm in my PJs) still) not impressed

I don't believe you can rent boats or jet skis, but if you have your own, take them! There are a couple boat launches and slips you can rent, or else lot of boats were tied to the "beach". Our friends have a fishing boat so we took it out on the river and back into a couple lakes that weren't heavily trafficked by the jet skiers or wakeboarders scaring off all the fish. Caught a few fish, only one being big enough to keep and eat (a delicious bass!) There's a store that seems to have plenty of supplies of you've forgotten anything. The pool is an ok size. There's a game room with ping pong tables and maybe something else but I can't remember. I'm not sure of it was still hidden shores property, but there are lots of trails out in the desert for ATV action. The restaurant was understaffed for such a busy weekend and usually only open fri-sun. Saturday night was all you can eat taco bar for 6.95 and nothing spectacular, but worth 7 bucks. Monday morning was all you can eat pancakes for 3 bucks, also nothing spectacular but worth the 3 bucks for the 2 pancakes I could actually finish.

Last but not least the reason why we can sit on the beach in the sand and order drink or food because beach is a public land never to be sold or profiting from it. There is only 1 place in the Hamptons New York that was grandfathered in 1908 and still operating today on the beach and the resort owns that area of Beach. So they have no right to control the beach or who's on it!!!

Dee and Dave took time to include our 9 year old grandson in conversations and would entertain him when he would randomly show up at the camp store. The RV lots differ dependent on where you park but this is the cleanest resort we have ever been to. We went to the February concerts, they were amazing. The pool and hot tubs are very clean. Lots of friendly neighbors, both owners and renters, lots of dog walking. The weather was spectacular, it only rained 1 time in 2 months, lots of shopping close by, and many good restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the Palms resort so much we booked for 6 months for the winter season in 2026. See you in October.
