The empty Kleenex box under the sink.

This used to be one of my favorite places to stay. It is going downhill. I had to ask for a tv remote. No Kleenex. Peeling wallpaper. And the tub plug is down and won't stay up. I had to use the shampoo to hold it up so it would drain. The clerk Alex is extremely helpful. Kudos to him. He made my stay better with his great attitude.

I should have checked yelp before staying here. Woke up at 12:30 a.m. to go to the bathroom and had this massive sewer roach with a large egg sack on the wall. Couldn't fall back asleep thinking I could feel things crawling on me. Disgusting.

Super nice staff! Clean room! Nice workout room and equipment is in good working order. Bottom floor smells like sewer backed up. Pool is open till 11pm but doesn't have working lights for night swimming. Was told pool is heated, but broken heater. Jacuzzi is also broken, not heated and jets don't work. Checking out the dining area tomorrow

We've stayed multiple times while visiting grandparents and have always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are affordable and you always get a good night sleep. The room is a bit outdated but we've never really minded that, it's clean which is most important. I am sad to see they no longer do the breakfast, though I had guessed that would be a possibility with COVID, I'll be crossing my fingers that eventually returns. Also - one of the big reasons we stay there is for the outdoor pool and it was in pretty bad shape, clearly hadn't been cleaned or shocked in a while with a solid green tint to it. So if you're like us & book rooms based on pool options for kids you may want to call ahead and ask if the pool was maintained.

It is a clean place. A little run down. Sign says newly refurbished but that must be an old sign. Our room was okay. The wallpaper was peeling at the seams. The staff wasn't overly friendly but not rude either. Just young kids that don't understand what a service industry is. The desk clerk did change our room for one with a balcony so my wife could smoke outside. We had to ask for more towels. Only one hand towel, one wash cloth and two bath towel in the room. No extra blankets. Lucky we brought our own. Very dog friendly. Big grass area with dog poop bags and trash cans to walk your dog. There is an extra fee for animals but they didn't charge us. Why? Don't know. Nice pool area, hot tub, sauna and steam room and exercise room. But didn't have time to try them. My big complaint is NO Breakfast not even lobby coffee. Not even vending machines to buy it. They offer the broken yoke down the street but it's not close enough to walk to. No cross walks to go across to Denny's. Nothing close for breakfast food. Must get dressed and drive. Morning coffee was from their little one cup coffee maker and they don't have a lot of coffee pods to give out. I don't think I'll stay again.

I now have Covid. I had the worse sleep on my life and some of the fountains were really dirty. No breakfast and beds were super uncomfortable. It's cheap, yes but not worth it. They had no water in stock down on the first floor.

Trim around sliding glass doors was just nasty!

I didn't expect too much from the small theater as far as the light show but they made do. And The Pig Balloon was bounced around by the crowd instead of floating; pretty cool (the band said that was unexpected). Also unexpected was when the power went out during the last song - but that was turned into a joyous al cappella of the song Comfortably Numb! The concert was very good. An opening act by a local artist when the main act, with an intermission and 2 song encore. I got teary eyed during the emotional song "Great Gig in the Sky" from the backup singers heartfelt singing and thinking about recent deaths to include an older family pet. I regret nothing; I knew they would play it! The band's from AZ. And I'll be sure to go again the next time they're in town. Worth it.

It was amazing. Spacious. Two queen beds, a chair, bureau, large flat screen TV, etc. We had a lot of space and a very quiet room. Decent size fridge and a microwave as well. We got breakfast cards with our stay and had terrific meals each morning from Burger Theory. A couple of days we took our meals to go so we could have them as lunch at the fair. This is clearly the premiere place to stay in Yuma. It was great to see several pilots and flight attendants checking in one night and several members of the Army or National Guard another night. It's a short shuttle trip from the hotel to the airport. As bustling as the hotel was at times, we were never neglected. The staff was always top notch - from the manager on duty to the ladies in the Burger Theory, to the cleaning staff. Highly recommend staying here the next time you're in the area.

Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, hotel shuttle to/from Yuma airport, free parking, and close to highway 8. Customer service at the front desk was excellent. I flew into Yuma airport and because many military personnel was flying in for a training with all their bags, several non military passengers didn't get our bags on the flight. I informed the front desk that my bag was delayed and didn't know when I will get it and if it was delivered and I'm out, could they just accept the delivery. The front desk said yes and they would keep it at the front desk until I get back. I was relieved to hear that cause I was only visiting for 3 days and wanted to spend as much time with my niece and her family who live in Yuma and not have to worry I needed to be back to get my luggage. When I booked my room I requested a room away from the elevator. Didn't think the hotel review the request but they did and I was given a room away from the elevator. My room faced the farms. It was really nice to wake up every morning to see some greenery. Breakfast was very basic. After day one, I never went back. My room was clean. Bed and pillows were nice and soft. I read a review about the a/c system turning off when no one was in the room. This was what I experienced as well but I didn't mind cause it didn't take long for the room to cool down once I'm back in the room. The a/c unit by the window is loud when it turned on. I got used to it after day 1 but wish it would not be so loud. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. You'll need to Uber/Lyft if you want options for food. The hotel shuttle will take you within 3 mile. The shuttle will take you to downtown Yuma as well. Would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Yuma again.

I had a One Key Rewards from Expedia/Hotels.com that I wanted to use for a complimentary stay at one of the hotels featured on their website, so I decided to take advantage of it. Travel Lodge, formerly the Baymont Inn & Suites, had it featured for $70.40, and since my rewards were worth $77.73, it pretty much covered the cost. I checked the fees and policies of Travel Lodge and saw that there was a refundable deposit of $50 per accommodation, per stay. No big deal, I thought, as I was only staying for one night. Upon check-in, the woman at the counter asked for my credit card for the deposit. Fortunately, I get credit card alerts and saw a $50 pending charge right away. Later that night, I woke up to a ping alert on my phone from my credit card, showing a charge of $16.08. I was baffled--Travel Lodge's website clearly stated a $50 deposit, so what was this $16.08 charge for? I decided to deal with it the next day when I checked out and went back to sleep. The next morning, I checked out and asked for a detailed receipt. The woman at the counter, who was in a bad mood, handed me the receipt. I noticed a charge of $66.08 on my credit card and asked why, since the refundable deposit was only $50. She became agitated and said it was the hotel charge for my stay. I explained that I had already paid for my stay using my rewards through the booking website. She claimed that Expedia charged me, not them. When I asked for a detailed receipt, she became angry and practically kicked me out of the premises--very unprofessional. Confused, I contacted One Key, the website that handles Expedia/Hotels.com, and the representative I spoke to said that I shouldn't have been charged. He assured me that he had contacted the hotel and that the charge should be removed. A few days later, I checked my credit card statement and noticed a charge of $66.08 from Baymont Inn & Suites which is now closed. Travel Lodge took over this hotel, and it seems like whoever is managing it is engaging in shady practices that need to be investigated. I have since contacted my credit card company to dispute this charge and requested an itemized bill. Let this be a warning to people staying here: Ask for an itemized bill and contact your credit card company immediately. This hotel has a restaurant next door, and I wouldn't be surprised if the staff are adding restaurant bills to customers' accounts for their own free meals. It's very shady!!!! I will not be letting this go, and will be writing to the better business bureau, consumer protection services, and the head of Wyndham properties. The woman working the front desk will steal your credit card information. She needs to be investigated, reported and fired! If you look at other review sites. Customers had the same issue with this hotel. The woman working there should be investigated and arrested.
