For our weekly breakfast get together we decided to try somewhere different. We heard (and it's probably common knowledge) casino food is a little more affordable than most places, so we headed over to The Cove at Paradise Casino. The food plates online looked decent enough! The dining area vibe was open and inviting. I ordered The Fort Yuma Big Breakfast and something to bring home for the fam off the under $5 menu. I ended up boxing up part of my main pick! The plate was had more food than I originally thought; more tastier, more enjoyable as well Our server Ramona was quick to refill our coffees and easy to have conversations with! I also renewed my HERO Rewards card for rewards, discounts and special offers! Regardless of casino usage, at The Cove's breakfast "the customer always wins!" read more

I recall going to PC for the fireworks during 4th of July. I'm forever grateful for the memories there. It became a family tradition to go there and see the fireworks. Also, I happen to know an awesome employee her name is Esmeralda and she works at Paradise so PC deserves 5 stars for choosing great people. read more

Had a lot of fun, would do it again . Like that it is a "no smoking" casino. I really like some of the new games. Now if I could just hit a jackpot! lol! read more

The good: the food is good and the wait staff tries to overcome lack of organization and training. Less than half of the tables are filled but they have a waiting list of up to an hour. The bar isn't any better, bartenders don't know what products are available, customers can't see what is available because of all the boxes, wine bottles, empty glasses, etc Lack of advertising is obvious as I had to ask about specials when I saw people being served items not on the menu read more

The Cove Restaurant: In all honesty I think I went here with higher expectations and was totally let down. It's our anniversary today, 1/1, and we had heard good things about this place so we tried it. I ended up being so disappointed that I just wanted to leave. Not sure if I'd recommend, but I won't be back. read more

It's getting pretty pricey to eat for a casino now. Foods good, but if you want them to play and eat use last yrs prices. Staff was nice and the no smoking was great. read more

Certain days the machines actually aren't the percentage RTP ( modify machines in their favor) .... Definitely needs to be audited by the gaming commission..... read more

The restaurant cooks can't cook very well. My prime rib was a skirt steak! Really!! Order something easy like salad. Oh and you won't get a refill on your drink because they are lazy to refill your drink. Just saying! read more

Went to The Cove restaurant for dinner last night. Staff is not friendly, server didn't check back on us, and food is mediocre. We have eaten at Sidewinders at their sister Casino, Quachan, several times and were expecting the same level of service and food. We were very disappointed. Their staff needs to be trained in customer service. We will not be going back. read more

Went to the Paradise casino restaurant, on a Wednesday afternoon. The wife ordered the ribeye steak. When it came, the steak was overdone (well vs medium) and both her asparagus and baked potato were Cold. My rib dinner was better, but the ribs were a bit overcooked. The waitress who took our order, Never came back. The kitchen staff delivers the meals.. that's fine, but when we needed salt and pepper, and go boxes, we had to snag a different, passing, girl. I was really surprised, at the poor service, and food quality, for a well established facility. read more

Horrible presentation the French dip i got was not even on the bread it was outside of it, and the bread was soggy right when I got like it had been setting under the heat lamp. I could outstand if the where busy but there super slow. NOT a great experience for me and I never write reviews but they earned this one read more

We stayed here in our camper van for $10/night. Overnight area is huge, flat, well lit, safe. NO SMOKING in the casino, what a relief. Get your camping pass in the gift shop. Staff was friendly. Dinner in the Cove restaurant was more than adequate, but think coffee shop, not high end, and you'll be fine. Only problem was a big rig parked right behind us late at night and ran their diesel engine all night. They could have parked anywhere else but chose to be near other campers, grrrr. Not the casinos fault but I doubt they would have or enforce quiet hours. read more

I only went with a friend to the Cove cafe. No gambling. Service was slow and food arrival the same. Got Fish & chips. Fish was OK but fries were not even warm. My friend got cheeseburger sliders. She asked for onion rings instead of fries. She ate one ring and no more. Said they were greasy. I tried one, and agreed. I've had better meals at Denny's. I will never return. It was also very noisy there. Not recomkmended. read more

This review is for the Paradise Cafe inside the casino. Arrived in a Thursday afternoon and ordered the Taco Salad .. it took forever to get our order .. there were 6 people in the restaurant at the time ... the cook left OUT the beans and ground beef. It was just the shell and lettuce with guacamole and sour cream. Needless to say that is the last time I will ever go there! To leave out the main ingredients is inaccessible!! This is definitely not the first bad meal I have had there but this will be the last!! read more

The casino is so loud you can't even have a conversation in there. I used to enjoy this place but I don't anymore.

Friendly people. A lady next to me won a jackpot. Love the lucky energy and service. People that lose their money give this casino bad reviews. I can debunk these biased reviews. Great, clean, functional casino. read more

The bar tender Cody was far from knowing what he was doing. He made myself and my wife a Bailey's and coffee with whipped cream. He served it to us without the whipped cream? I asked him why he said we are out, we could go take our cocktails to the kitchen and see if they had any? He had back up. We asked a floor person get us. Some creamer. They did. The second cocktail was a complete blunder. He attempted to make us a Cadillac margarita right now. The margarita came to us with far too much sweet-and-sour and lime. Enough to gag a maggot. The Grand Marnier was not floated on the top. He said he started in. I couldn't taste it. I asked if he has a premix margarita mix back there or do they make their own he stated he makes his own. Probably he should entertain tasting his product at some point. I let him know that I am a retired bartender, and he should probably learn the proper Mixology. There was no saving that margarita at all. He then told me that the sweet-and-sour and lime were pre-mixed? Not even the right way to make a margarita. They were disgusting and he was quite rude. Paradise this is not bringing back customers. Have a great day as your casino. This was March 21 at approximately 12:00 PM. He said he had no control over anything. PS by the way, the bar I ran was in San Diego on 6th and broadway called ON BROADWAY EVENT CENTER WITH A 2600 person head count and only open Friday & Saturday. I qualify for this review 100%. HE IS BEYOND BAD. read more

Been there 3 times, 2 of those times roulette table was closed. Bring a live roulette table to the Q since this one is closed all the time.

Place is ok the men that work taking money out of the machines for turning in the cash tickets and atm machines are rude

This is no paradise. Yeah they have some fune slits, but no vibe what's so ever of people winning. Other casinos you here someone yell with excitement ever so often when they win. At paradise the most I watched someone win was $13. So if you are good with burning your money, this is the place for you read more

Not the best casino in town. They could really use some fresh air being pumped in there. The fountain wasn't working. The front door is not be able to be gone through. You have to enter through the bar side. Also all the tables were shut down so there was no table playing that could be done. I hope this place can improve its operations. Just to reiterate it smells like a ash tray. Beware. read more

food is great and machines are not too bad but i want to make a bad statement here there was a little white dog running around outside probably got out of the owner's car and i came in here and told them and they're supposed to announce it but they have not done that that poor little dog is going to get run over and it's going to be there about they probably don't want to take someone away from them or slot machine it might lose some money read more

Smokey as hell is the first that comes to mind when I think about this casino. You better be prepared to tolerate the heavy cigarette smoke, I smelled like and felt like I smoked two packs after I left that place. As for the play experience it was actually a pretty good experience. I lost $80.00 dollars but I was entertained for over 3 hours with that amount. A person near me won $1,500.00 and had to wait an 1.5 hr to be paid! One word of caution, you better have at least three forms of I.D. If you hit it big. Better have your social security card too; don't give them a reason not to pay you. Because of that terrible smoke I am only going to give this place a two star rating. They also have very few machines compared to most other casinos read more

I've been here three separate times. During two of those visits, half of the table games were closed. Aside from the lack of real or virtual table games, the casino offers many different themed slot machines. The food is cheap but not worth it unless you're in the middle of your gambling bender, and down too much money to order some Postmates. If they put in a virtual roulette or blackjack machine, this casino would be much better. I've met a couple of the pit bosses here, and most of them are cool. Besides the short haired gentleman who was eyeing my buddy for hitting too many red snakes on roulette. I never thought I'd say this, but I wish Alex was running that roulette table tonight. read more

Still xharging to stay in there HUGE rv parking area.. Its sad to see it empty i guess they do not realize the income they are losing!!!!!

Well... what can I say... This is a divey casino...No frills...just booze, cigarettes and slots...We stayed at their sister hotel/casino, Quechan but we wanted to check this place out. It's kinda dark and depressing in there, but I did hit a mini-jackpot!! Whoo- Hoo!!! I'd say that if you are in the area and you want to gamble, then this would be a good place to try your luck. It's a really small casino. If you are looking for something fancy schmancy, skip this place... This place is for gamblers, drinkers and/or smokers only...Don't expect anything more and you should be ok... I'd return simply because my husband likes to gamble and I enjoy putting a few bucks in a machine here and there, myself. If I were out on my own, I'd probably skip it to be quite honest. I have to give it 3 stars simply because I won some dough...Fair, is fair. read more

I live very close to this place and well, I avoid it like the plague. Don't mind me though, I worked here for 3 years straight and I am not the biggest fan of coming home smelling like stale cigarette smoke and despair. There isn't a big choice of slot machines, no table games, but they have bingo... It is about one or two steps above being a bingo hall. There is a small dark bar and lounge on one side of the building, and a small restaurant on the same side. The restaurant is a bit on the dull side, being that they stick to a set menu and serve the same specials every week. It is an ok place to come when football season is in full motion because they do have deals on drinks. If you are looking for an exciting time go to the Quechan Resort Casino or even the Cocopah Casino. They need to bring excitement to this place other than the same bands and DJ's every week and weekend. read more

The manager of the restaurant (heavy young man with a 2-3' pony tail) saw us in line and ignored us for about 10 minutes, we noticed that he was repeatedly coughing in his hands. He escorted us to our table while continuing to cough in his hands, he then reached out for two cloth towel/cutlery and handled both with the hand he was repeatedly coughing into. Our meal was a patty melt - hamburger, it tasted ok, and was overly 'sauced' and the beef patty didn't taste very well, it tasted like a lot of additives were added to it. Fortunately the meal came with paper towels which we used because of the contaminated cloth napkin. After dinner we went into the gambling area, it was very smokey and unpleasant for us non-smokers. We will never return to this casino. read more

Two of us ordered the T-Bone special [$9.95 ]. Same salad dressing. The steaks, medium well & medium were done to perfection, flavorful, and tender. We asked for blue cheese dressing on the side salads..One came with ranch instead. Waitress was poor. Mixed up the salad dressing. I asked for extra dressing - didn't happen. We only saw her to take our order, the bill, and when we stopped her for the first/only drink refills. Never came by and checked on if everything was ok, etc. Thus only 4 stars. read more

Small Casino but the machines are pretty good if you bet $15 or more. My boyfriend walked in with $600 and left with $8,700. Most of the people inside only bet $0.40 to $1. So once my boyfriend tapped into the machines he consistently hit multiple jackpots. I would definitely recommend if you play high limit machines. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a star. I don't even know why this place is still functioning. When we first walked in, it smelled like straight up smoke and must. Very dark, no customer service, small slot area and it was just a mess. This is the most ghetto casino I have ever been in. I don't recommend this place. Just go to a different casino. read more

Well this is my experience I had a very very long stressful day and to be honest I am so I'm sitting in the parking lot right now and I am looking forward to going inside and just relaxing and being around people my age and not having to deal with anybody that's just you know not my age because I feel very stressed free when I come here and I appreciate it because this is exactly what I need even not even playing I don't even have to play honestly I literally just want to be in the casino and hear the noise and then just relax and I love your guys's fountain in the front is is very relaxing I appreciate it I'm so happy that you guys are open all the time now because sometimes I have nothing to do and maybe one day Walmart will open up 24 hours a day again but I do appreciate your guys's being open all the time thank you so much. read more

The Cove - renovated with less seating. On Xmas day the service was horrendous. I asked for horseradish & got mayo. They had a long line. We waited for 20 minutes on the single employee taking payment. The casino - cleaner after renovation. The gambling is a joke. There are no poker slots. Numerous slots were offline. Poker slot players like 3play 5play 10play / Multi-Strike Poker. Saw some of these sat aside in closed lounge type room. I LOVE to gamble but won't play here. Won't eat there. Won't go there. read more
