Never in my life have I waited 45 mins for a sub! There were only 4 people ahead of us and it was a single sub for each of them. There was enough staff to multitask and only one girl was doing it all meanwhile on girl was taking her sweet time organizing the tomato's on each sub. Never again will I come to this location! Also, cross contamination. One girl had her gloves on to slice the meats and used other hand to brush off any bread crumbs from the counter. Then smashes her hand onto the other subs on the side. Just gross af who knows when was the last time that surface was cleaned. I would suggest order ahead but even the Uber Eats and pick up order had to wait. Made no sense! I have ordered from this store the last three days in a row. Ordered the same thing with a couple variations, but nothing to change the overall sandwich. I am baffled about how I ended up with three very different sandwiches. The first was perfect, what you know and loved. The second, chewy, bagel like bread, barely any lettuce, what seemed like double ham, and a different order in way the veggies were layered. Weird. This one was good but missing that lettuce we love, soaked in oil and vinegar. Third day, better bread than second day but not as good as day one, way more onions than any other day and frankly too many. Slightly more lettuce than day two but still lacking from "normal " this one also had more tomato than both previous days. I ordered all online for pickup in store. I went in at 8 o'clock in the evening. It was terrible, they were out of bread to make a sandwich. I bought two subs they were wrapped in tortillas. It equal to of a regular sub the size. For $16, the manager came out after I had already talked to a rep and he said no if they're wrapped in tortillas is gonna be a three dollar extra charge. Times call I didn't run out of bread. That should've even been a choice. What a travesty to go to a sandwich shop and expect a nice sandwich more than willing to play the price and end up getting dealt a real bad hand. Great tasting subs! The restaurant is strategically located next to a major highway and gas stations, so if you are driving through Yuma make sure to stop here. Restaurant is not big but they recently added tables on the side of the building. I had the club supreme and it was delicious. Manager Josh and his staff are always courteous and happy to help patrons. They always give excellent recommendations when you want to try something different. I tried #44 thinking it sou ded interesting. It's a hot chicken sub with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. It was disgusting. I couldn't eat it. Instead of just a little hot sauce and dressing like seasoning they poured it on. The roll was so saturated it fell apart when I I ked it. It w a s a gloppy mess. We were there in March on drive from az to cali and there was a manager working hard to train some seemingly hopeless teens. Manager was great though and corrected all their errors so no complaints there. I'm writing now to say how much of an improvement I've noticed in the teens behind the counter. Staff was friendly but noticeably annoyed we were coming in so close to closing (they close at 9pm) then we ordered and he told us we would have to eat outside so they could close up which made no sense because we literally ate in 5 minutes and then left. Just annoying having to eat outside when it's 104F right now outside. The food was excellent as usual. 5 stars on food quality. 3 stars on the food price, too expensive and no good deals to take advantage of at all. 3 stars on the customer service being sub par at best. When I'm craving a sandwich from Jersey Mike's, the picture that flashes in my head is of a roast beef sandwich made "Mike's Way" on Rosemary Parmesan bread :-) Their sandwiches are always fresh and each and every single bite tastes like Heaven to me. It's not just the sandwiches that are exceptional - the customer service at this location is awsome as well. Case in point - I came here with a coupon that would give me a free sandwich if purchsed with a drink and chips. The cashier rung it up wrong and the total ended up being higher than it would have been without the coupon. This manager figured out what had happened and made it totally right by giving me two vouchers for free sandwiches (any size) with no purchase required. It is absolutely unacceptable to be out of American cheese. Jersey Mike's should do a much better job planning for weekend sales and ensuring they have appropriate inventory when I ordered the sandwich. Three employees with one lounging around. Women's restroom was a mass according to the wife. No soap, soap dispenser was on the floor, paper on the floor.
