Spent the night in Blythe on June 16 decided to try subs and sips for dinner! The people that work at this restaurant were extremely cordial knew exactly what they were doing and the one gentleman really knows how to build a sandwich. I had their four meat 6 inch sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches. I think I've ever had from a restaurant of this style. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody traveling through Blythe. It was clean pleasant food was absolutely delicious and the prices was surprisingly pretty good. Stop in and see for yourself. Service was great,; friendly, helpful and very patient. We bought the BLT and the man helping us (owner?), was more than ready to add anything we wanted, although we didn't add much. This was our first stop here, but they treated us like old friends/customers. Next time we drive through we will definitely stop by again. Oh, the sandwich? Everything about it was fresh and tasty. The bread and bacon had been warmed in the oven and everything else was cool and crunchy fresh.....delicious! Stopped here for lunch on the way to Arizona. Super easy to access right off the freeway and parking right in front. It's got Subway vibes with the counter filled with ingredients to choose what you want on your sandwich. I liked some of the options of pre-made sandwiches. Their jalapeño cheddar bread is really tasty. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor chairs are really low to the ground and not very comfortable, though. read more

Great experience! Staff was friendly & welcoming. Menu was easy to read. I split a 12 inch pastrami with my father. They were more than willing to put different toppings on the different sides. Bread was fresh & soft. I would recommend the horchata. It's not often I appreciate horchata out of a soda dispenser, but it was delicious. Inside was super clean. I stopped in here an hour or so before closing. I wanted a snack for now, and a sub for my work shift for the next day. I I got a hotdog and a cookie for now. It was very good. The cookie was one of the best I've ever eaten! Who barely done white chocolate macadamia nut just the way I like it. I got a sub for the next day and that did not disappoint. Driving to Arizona from California. Saw the 4.8 rating and decided to give it a try. Not sure how this place gets 5 star reviews! Must be under new ownership now. Dirty chairs and table needed a good cleaning and it was very loud with TV's blaring. Women's bathroom was dirty. They had only 3 flavors of Thrifty ice cream while advertising 10 flavors , only couple bag of chips on the rack and under stocked with drinks. No smoothies and juices. We ordered a 12" turkey bacon avocado to share. Literally 6 pieces of turkey on a 12" and raw bacon. FYI there is a Subway close by. Save yourself the time. Not a fan of Subway but 100 times better. read more

If you are a truck driver looking for homemade food this is your place to stop. I just had a 6" sub on jalapeño cheese bread. I asked if he could make a Philly cheese and they said they couldn't but we made an alternative sandwich. a hot chicken, provolone, bell peppers, purple onions and mushroom sub. After it came out of the oven, we added mayo and mustard.... soooo good. I bought one of their homemade soups (tomato basil) to add to my lunch. They have homemade desserts, and thrifty ice cream. I have eaten a lot of subs from many different places and I have a few that are my favorites. I was traveling for work headed to Phoenix AZ and decided to stop in. I got the Club and I will say this is the best sandwich! Got it on white bread and it was so soft and fresh. Meats and veggies tasted great. And it is pretty big for a 6 inch sub. You have to try them, you won't be disappointed! Oh and they have amazing desserts. I'm from Texas and it's a long ways to get a sandwich but it would be worth it. read more

I was cruising through the area on my way east checked Yelp for a great place to eat that was dog friendly and Subs N' Sips popped up. The sandwich was great. The service/people inside very friendly and professional. A couple big screen TVs inside, one playing sports one playing a movie. There was a nice little patio out front where the dog and I sat and enjoy the very tasty sandwich and a cool beverage and a side cup of meat for the dog. We stopped here on our way home from Sedona and absolutely loved our sandwiches! The food was fresh and tasty, then service was quick and friendly and the ambiance was very pleasant. While traveling through Blythe,, California on my way home. I was looking for an old liquor store that used to make sandwiches. Luckily for me, the liquor store is no longer in business, but I saw subs and sips across the street and decide to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I ordered the club sandwich which was made to order with quality ingredients. I was greeted immediately upon entering the business and was impressed with the interior and cleanliness of the location.. The sandwich looked so good. I ate half in the car and saved the other for dinner later at home. I have to say the sandwich was exceptional and much better than some of the chains that you see in many towns. Stopped here on the way home from California a few weeks ago, and very happily surprised. Not a whole lot of choices in these tiny little towns, they greeted us as soon as we came in, and they were very personable the entire time. They had comfortable & clean tables (whole place was very clean) and chairs to sit at, TVs playing on both sides, kids program on one side and an adult program on the other. When I asked the owner if he could turn down the adult one because there was a lot of cussing he just turned it to a kids program (and was very nice about it). I really appreciated that. And the food was great. What you'd expect at a sub shop, but did not take any shortcuts, they had everything that they advertised, which was a large variety of sandwiches, & very large variety of drinks and chips. It was a great experience, and I'm glad we stopped there, and we would absolutely stop there again and highly recommend Subs n' Sips. read more
