In between my commutes between Arizona and California, I usually stop by at this location for pizza (similar to Mod Pizza or Pizza Studio though I can't seem to recall the exact name at the moment) and was surprised to see that it was no longer in existence. I was about to settle for Subway, which was located less than a few minutes away, but decided to give "Subs N' Sips" a chance. Upon walking in, I felt slightly overwhelmed with so many options and not knowing what would be delicious. I decided to ask and order the employee's favorite sub and the way he likes to customize it. He ended up making some form of a "Spicy Italian" and I was not disappointed at all. It was so good that I decided to come back the second time on my return trip. I also ordered a detox, but it's nothing spectacular. Fresh ingredients though. Shout out to the employee with the ponytail/man bun that didn't mind obliging with my request of making his favorite sub for me. I failed to ask for the employee's name as I was in a rush the first time, and the second time on my return trip, it was minutes before closing. I will definitely be back again. read more

Came across this gem & decided to try it out on our way back to Vegas. We were starving for real food & decided to choose a healthier option outside of the fast food places. Glad we did! Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating inside. Delicious options & desserts. Our subs were delicious, the tomato basil soup was yummy, & the slim down smoothie. This is probably the cleanest place to get lunch in the area , the other places feel dirty and dated with slow service. This place was clean with quick service. There was lots to offer on their menu. Sandwiches, Indian, smoothies, cookies and ice cream. Unfortunately our sandwiches were just ok. We got ours with chips and a drink and then bought cookies. Pretty expensive at $37. read more

Stopped here on the way home from California a few weeks ago, and very happily surprised. Not a whole lot of choices in these tiny little towns, they greeted us as soon as we came in, and they were very personable the entire time. They had comfortable & clean tables (whole place was very clean) and chairs to sit at, TVs playing on both sides, kids program on one side and an adult program on the other. When I asked the owner if he could turn down the adult one because there was a lot of cussing he just turned it to a kids program (and was very nice about it). I really appreciated that. And the food was great. What you'd expect at a sub shop, but did not take any shortcuts, they had everything that they advertised, which was a large variety of sandwiches, & very large variety of drinks and chips. It was a great experience, and I'm glad we stopped there, and we would absolutely stop there again and highly recommend Subs n' Sips. read more

I decided to try their 6-inch sub filled with turkey and crispy bacon, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations--it was rather bland and lacked flavour. To round off my meal, I ordered a plain cheesecake, which was disappointing as well; it had a stale taste, making me question its freshness. We live locally and I've been eagerly waiting for them to open. We finally had it the other night. It was so delicious and the bread was really good. I had the Chicken Bacon and my husband had the pastrami. My only recommendation is the chicken was a little strange. It was dry chunks of dark meat and I wish they had avocado slices. I feel like the sandwich would be better with fresh rotisserie white meat chicken or even sliced chicken! My husband loved his pastrami and had no complaints. I wish I took pictures to put on their Yelp. They need to advertise their food/ menu so people can see what it looks like because the sandwiches were way better looking then I even expected! Had a delicious late lunch and smoothie here with the family and Esmeralda and Ashu were so helpful and answered all my questions about the menu so patiently. Ordered a large smoothie with pineapple, blueberry, banana, lime and raspberry with coconut milk. Again, Ashu and Esmeralda were so helpful in letting me know the size, milk options and ingredient recommendations when there was no mango in stock. Made a tuna sandwich with pepper jack cheese toasted with veggies and Esmeralda packed four pieces separately for me. The pizza was also so yummy-added mushrooms, olives, bell peppers and extra provolone on top. Everything we ate was worth it, especially the smoothie and pizza. I was worried the pizza would be too small when they said it was an 8 inch in 4 sliced but wow, so hearty and filling. They also keep the bathroom clean and there is a diaper changing table in the women's restroom and they have high chairs. I had a good feeling when I walked in and saw the lounge chair and chessboard. My only regret is not trying the fresh juice. So glad we find this great spot!
