SOLID! So good I went back 2 days in a row for curbside pick up! LOL Seriously, I have such a great appreciation for all of these hard working employees that are working in such uncertain times. Without them, we would have no food on the table among other things. I also appreciate all restaurants offering curbside pick up. It makes things so much easier for us. Having underlying health issues, we take things very seriously. Since I've been living in the area, this was my first time at this location, I ordered online and our food was ready in a timely manner. I called when we arrived and they bought out our food immediately. Everything was made fresh and to our specifications. Either I was really hungry or my food was just that good! They actually pay attention to the notes when you order online, most places forget -__- . I have no complaints and super satisfied with our food and service! I ate at Denny's Restaurant on El Camino Real in Tustin CA. I lived close to this Denny's for 11 years, and ate there many times. The place was nice and clean. The server was nice and friendly. The nice manager allowed me to take photos. I had the All American Slam. It was good and tasty. I drank a fresh cup of coffee. For dessert; The New York Style Cheesecake; It was delicious. I took my car to get serviced at the Tustin Auto Center. My buddy wasn't around so I walked to here to get my STEPS. Pretty much the set up is the same as other locations. The host that seated me was also the person that took my order. Very personable. I went with one of the Slam breakfasts that had bacon, eggs (w/ cheese), hash browns, and toast. I like that the person came around while I was eating to make sure that I was okay. Do you notice that they always ask when you have food in your mouth (lol). My only complaint is that the cheese was just put on top of the eggs so some of it was not melted. read more

Your curbside pick up does not work! Your phone system was not working, anytime I tried to get through to the number listed for this location, the number would either disconnect or route through the main message. Not customer friendly at all. After several attempts, I finally decided to walk in and had to leave my dogs in the car in 85+ degree weather. Why would you offer a curbside pick up option when you're incapable of following through? You even had lawn signs at your location to call the number and no one was picking up the phone. Ridiculous. I wish I could rate this a zero, went around 9pm yesterday and the server was an Asian woman and she was very friendly at first but she became inattentive and very aloof. I could forgive all then but when I was talking to my friend, she asked us if we need boxes to which I said no thank you. All of a sudden she takes my plate away and I was thrown off because I wasn't finished and didn't indicate that I was. she came back with the check and honestly I was going to leave a very nice tip but once I got the check she lingered around and when I was trying to calculate the tip she goes "I can calculate it" which I felt was disrespectful. We left and she gave us a weird look as we left and can honestly say was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Not to mention the food was very mediocre at best. read more

My son is on the spectrum, each restaurant encounter for us is different. On this particular Sunday morning he was having quite a rough time and a bit of a meltdown. The staff and manager were so dang kind and thoughtful. They brought him a toy to help calm him, they tried goldfish after that didn't work, then offered him grapes, which happen to be his favorite. They were never bugged or annoyed if he started to fuss again. Always kind and patient and I can't wait to come back to THIS Dennys. I think I've written maybe 2-3 reviews before and this visit was about 3 weeks ago, but I had to take a moment to appreciate what a wonderful staff you have here: thank you for the love and for still exemplifying customer service in a world where not much of that is left. I, now as an adult, 23 years later continue to drive back to this particular Denny's because of the service, from Heriberto and the food. Heriberto, Eddie as my family knows him, is Dennys best server. He goes over and beyond. He makes sure we always have drinks and checks on us multiple times each visit, no matter how busy he is. I ordered and my food was suppose to get here at 2:28 am the website crashed I couldnt track my order I called 8 times and I never got a call through except the first time an Asian lady manager on duty answered for abruptly 45 seconds and said yes your foods on the way and hung up. I had to drive there to pick up my food which was cold and soggy. And it was lonely they had only 3 ppl no reason why she couldn't answer the phone. And she was just hanging out by the front desk smhh she should get fired I got home to a soggy burger buns and cold fries and the burgers top bun was a hard to bite into. Waste of my time and money. Came in with a party of four late Friday night/early Saturday morning. When we came in, we weren't greeted and the Denny's was about empty. We had to walk around to find someone working to seat us. Customer service was hot garbage. Food wasn't even half decent. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and the steak tasted like they battered it in salt lol. My friend ordered the Grand Slam Slugger and it didn't come with hashbrowns. We kept showing the lady on shift the menu where it clearly said "hashbrowns" and she kept saying "Oh no, that's a different grand slam." Doesn't all Grand slams come with hashbrown tho? My friends plate was so empty. His plate made me depressed lmao. Anyway, I'd stay away from here on late nights. Maybe service is different during the day. read more

Honestly one of the worst Denny's I've went to. I came in with a group of friends and we were all magicians who pulled out cards and started to hang out, then eventually order food. The manager had rudely asked a friend of mine if "we were going to order food?" And that "we can't hang out here." All of us did order, and of course I'm the one who had the bad end of the stick which is why I'm writing this damn review. I ordered a really simple cheese melt with no fries, should've been a simple order. They some how managed to get my order last. It came out 10 minutes after everyone else which made me really upset. When I got the food it came with fries, and I never said I wanted to add fries so they added it anyways. My waitress was a sweetheart but the manager working was really non-comprehensive. I wanted to get his name but seems like he knows he's bad so he just keeps his name tag off. If I can give this rate a 0 star then I would. Never coming back to this location ever again. Came here for a late night craving of buffalo strips. Our waitress Lisa was so friendly and nice, she made us feel welcomed. I ordered the buffalo chicken strips with onion rings, French fries and it also came with a side of garlic bread. It was a lot of food, but everything was so delicious, it definitely satisfied my craving. The only downside of this experience was the time it took for our food to come out. It felt like we would never get our food. The restaurant was not that busy, So I'm not sure why it took as long as it did. It also took a long time to receive our check so we can get going and hit the road. I will not be stopping here in the future. read more
