The customer service was good and it did look like they were training a new host so that should help in the future. I ordered the veggie 21 with a double patty. The food came out quick. And service was good. The sandwich was nothing to write home about although it was filling. Denny's uses 21 different vegetables in the party. I liked the size of the patty but the patty lacked flavor. Denny's didn't use any seasoning at all. No salt or anything in that patty. I've had veggie burgers that were incredibly flavorful. When they make the patty several seasonings are incorporated into it. This wasn't the case with the veggie 21. It was totally flavorless. Unfortunately. And on top of being totally flavorless the patty was so soggy and mushy it appeared half done. Veggie burger Patty's are cooked so that on each side it has a firmness. They crisp up the sides. This wasn't the case at all. I understand veggie burgers won't hild texture like beef but they certainly are not suppose to be this soft and spongy. Denny's in Ridgeland, MS All I can say is HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Staff very unprofessional. In my opinion today is a holiday, Memorial Day and this restaurant should have closed because being told there's only 3 people working, 1 cook and 2 waitresses. And that's understandable but have a different way of share with your customers. Try having a positive attitude!!! We waited over 20 minutes to be recognized and 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. We heard one of the waitresses (Danielle) talking to the manager acknowledging that customers are waiting to be seated and she didn't care if they walked out, which in my opinion was very unprofessional because they were talking so loud that they customers heard the entire conversation. One door dash customer was waiting over 20 minutes after she had gotten her food for a coffee that she had already ordered with her to go order only to be told when the coffee was made there were 10 other customers waiting as well. So she had to wait longer and I guess it didn't matter that her door dash food was getting colder. HMMM After placing our order we waited 35 minutes to get 3 pancakes, one order of eggs and an order of bacon. REALLY!!!! I wish I could have rated less than 1 star. read more

First time at this location, although service was good, quantity is skimpy than the other Denny's I've been to. He got the pot roast melt, it was good, but barely any meat. Bread was nicely buttered and toasted, hashbrowns were crispy, but barely any there, isn't "stacked" like usual. I got the philly egg white omelet, had 4 pieces of meat, barely any veggies or cheese, and extremely oily. My sides were 7 slivers of sauteed zucchini. What I like is that you can get egg white, any sides and any bread including pancakes without an uncharged. If you want cheap diner food with huge portions, don't come to the Denny's in Ridgeland, stick to Pearl. read more

Great service and food was excellent. Denny's is one of those chains you take for granted but its good to see a nice place for friends to gather and enjoy breakfast with a nice selection of traditional selections and always great pancakes. Horrible!! We waited 30 minutes to be seated, then another 30 for our drink order to be taken. The man then came back with the drinks and asked what we wanted. He walked off in the middle of us ordering, then got ugly when we said we hadn't finished ordering. He brought us the wrong food, that was burnt by the way, and snapped my husbands head off when we brought attention to it. I was given Sausage when I requested none because I'm allergic. We ended up just leaving after the server got ugly with my husband again. This is the second time this has happened at this location. I had not been to this location and was looking for a quick meal that was not fast food. This was the perfect solution to my needs. The restaurant was clean, the service good, and food yummy. We went around 1:00 in the afternoon on Sunday. I had not eaten breakfast and was craving an omelet so I chose the Philly Steak omelet. It was cooked to perfection. Instead of shave beef, there were big tender juicy chunks of steak. I try to go into places like Denny's with an open mind and not expecting much. Had been a while since I visited a Denny's. I must say I was quite disappointed. Restaurant had no bacon- pretty important for a breakfast menu. Table had no salt or pepper, had to ask for napkins, salt, pepper etc., which finally were brought to the table after a lengthy delay. No butter served with pancakes or toast, had to ask for that too, and after another waiting period it was brought to the table. Actually pretty poor service overall- but in fairness, the food was good and served to us fresh and hot. So, if poor service is something you can tolerate, then bon appetite! read more

Our order: two waters, chocolate Oreo milkshake, two chef salads, and a chicken Alfredo. People: 3 (me, my mom, and my grandmother) I have been here a few times. The wait has always been a little bad. However, what really made me give them one star was I waited 15-20 minutes for my shake. As a prior waitress I do understand that on busy days shakes take time, BUT when I can see you on your phone and staring at the window as if food is going to come any faster instead working on something (like my shake), that's not good service. Neither is ignoring our table. Finally when I got my shake, I was happy to finally have a drink. On top of that the wait was bad. We watched the one of the chefs go and talk to a table for 15 minutes despite the fact they had a large amount of tickets. Then two tables that came in after us got served and we had been there for 45 minutes. Thats not good considering our order. Finally the manager ( I think) helped us and comped our meal and put in to go. That's great news, until I hearthe servers literally cursing about my mom and m e for her mistakes. No ma'am you do not get to do that for your fault. While she was bitching I saw our Togo orders ready. If I can give it a zero star, I would. This was by far the WORSE experience I've had a restaurant. The server was rude, incoherent, and just plain rude! The manager didn't care. The food was awful and they got my order incorrect. It took two hours to get our order, and the order was wrong. He was rude he acted like he did not want to be there. I understand people are tired, but there is a limit. They got our tickets incorrect. I would never go back to this restaurant again. And I don't recommend it to anybody. Quite frankly I think that some form of upper management needs to come and actually teach people how to serve and actually do their job correctly. Took over an hour just to get our drinks. Then another hour came by and the server said one of the cooks had walked out. We understood so we still waited patiently because it wasn't her fault. The handful of times that she did come check on us she was complaining about the orders and said "let's see if y'all's cook doesn't walk out too." We asked for a refill for our coffee and didn't get it. I ended up canceling my order because we were there for over 2 hours and she said my order "wasn't even up there yet." I understand they're short staffed but it's crazy they continue to let people in AND take online orders. Can't continue to function fully with no workers. read more

Even for a Denny's this place is sub-par. It was cleaner than most & staff was pretty friendly but that's all I can say that was positive. We waited almost 40 minutes for 1 plate of breakfast, then had to flag someone down for silverware, waited another 30 minutes & had to finally go find someone to get our ticket & check us out. The food was cold when it arrived & several things were done incorrectly, including leaving off the english muffin which took another 10 minutes to find in the kitchen. 10/11/2020 @ 0900 I would give a zero but not allowed. Walked in to be seated hostess/ manager had her nose hanging out so I politely asked her to put it on correctly. She said she couldn't breathe with it on and her doctor said it was ok. I am a nurse for a large cardiology group and our doctors tell our pts if they can't wear a mask properly they need to stay home. So we left. I will not be back. The only way we can have restaurants open safely is to have their staff wear their masks correctly so we can eat safely. I'm done pussy footing around with this concept!! read more

After asking the manager why it was taking so long she acted like she didn't know that service was behind. Servers are not attentive at all!
