Went for a Friday lunch. At first I was disappointed that we could only order off blue plate menu. I was hoping to order from the full menu, but that's for evenings only. So I ended up getting the country fried steak (without gravy) which was one of their three offerings on Fridays (along with catfish and hamburger steak). But let me back up a bit. The location is really nice. Spacious, open, outdoor seating with games. Really family-friendly. The host was an angel. Very attentive and sweet. So was our server. Unfortunately, I can't remember their names. The place has so much nostalgia for anyone raised in the 80's. From older movie posters and a pay phone hanging on the wall to getting your bill enclosed in a Blockbuster VHS case before you pay. Perfect touch. My country fried steak was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and tender enough to use my fork to cut it. My wife got the catfish and cole slaw and raved about the slaw when she wasn't dipping her fork in my blackeyed peas. Your childhood living room, Blockbuster Video, racing team, and sports bar all coexist loudly, but none of them seem to agree on what this place is supposed to be. The food unfortunately matches that confusion. The burger is fine in the most basic sense. It is cooked and assembled, but bland and forgettable. The patty lacks seasoning, and the toppings feel added out of obligation rather than intention. Nothing is bad, but nothing stands out. The fries are the biggest letdown. Limp, underseasoned, and clearly an afterthought, they exist only to fill space on the plate. It is not a terrible restaurant, just a frustrating one. Had been hesitating on trying Team Ten due to mixed reviews but as always, you have to try it out for yourself. The place is nostalgically decorated; Everything was so derishush and service was EXCELLENT! Price is reasonable. I'm greedy and on top of meeting my daily protein intake, I ordered the Hamburger Steak with a side of Fried Pork Chop . Hamburger steak was flavorful and juicy, seasoned fried okra tasted fresh, mashed potatoes and gravy was amazing, green beans were seasoned and tasted like green beans (I like my vegetables to taste like vegetables). My fried pork chop was juicy and fried perfectly and delicious. Mexican cornbread was fluffy and yummy. My coworker also had hamburger steak with lima beans, squash casserole and creamed corn. Creamed corn did have a lot of butter but it was still good especially when u dipped the cornbread in it. Lima beans were good but nothing to rave about and the casserole was good and cheesy. Beef doesn't agree with me but I love the taste of a good one, so sometimes I will indulge in one. For the special price they were running, I felt it would be worth it. We got there right at 4pm. Wasn't packed but a steady flow of customers. Our server, Savannah, was great. I didn't have to ask for a drink refill and when I asked for condiments, she brought them right on. I got the ribeye special with a baked potato and side salad with comeback dressing. Salad was basic. Nothing to get excited about. Steak was cooked medium as I asked and was really good. My baked potato was huge to the point I should have asked for extra butter and sour cream. My friend ordered the chicken tenders, which were huge but she had to send them back and order a burger because they were too spicy for her to eat. She was told most of their fried dishes have a kick to them. She said her burger was good and she loved the fries. The vibe inside gives you an old diner feel and not a steak house. Sound system very bad - loud and distorted - mostly unintelligible. Lots of hard surfaces. Acoustics not apparently a design concern 2 out of 5. Service - inconsistent. It was busy, but server forget stuff too. Bar and kitchen very slow. 2 out of 5. Food - my food was disappointing (reuben sandwich, potato salad). My wife and older son were happy with theirs. i'd have to give them another shot before i could give a solid yes or no recommendation. not sure exactly how long they've been open so i'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt. i ordered the hamburger steak with gravy and onions. it was warm at best. my side of creamed potatoes were not warm, they were cold. green beans were well seasoned and hot. i ordered a dr. pepper but never received it. he ordered steak sandwich which he said was very good. he was served the wrong side but it was quickly corrected. finally, i just do not like eating off of the medal trays, just personal preference. lots of room for growth here. a little fine tuning and i think they will be fine. read more

The dining room has no sound dampening, so between people and the overly loud music it is hard to hear. The service was ok, but a bit slow. Waitress was nice, but definitely seemed overwhelmed. The real issue was with the food. The steaks are reasonably priced for steak, and taste good. My wife and I both ordered medium, hers came right but mine was just shy of well done. We decided to try this place and I guess a Friday night was a bad choice. I don't know if the food is good or not because we left after waiting over an hour for our food. Waitstaff were very pleasant and we initially looked forward to eating there but our order was taken shortly after 7 and it was brought out at 8:20 as we were leaving. I requested a booth, waitress looked around and stated no booths available, although i could see three empty in plain sight. We went on a Saturday night about 2 hours before closing and they were slightly busy, it did take a little while to be seated and a server to get our drink order. However, the atmosphere is amazing people laughing at the bar and arcade games with the races and wrestling playing. I noticed that the outside has cornhole too. When we walked up to the building my husband said that it smelled like my BIL cooking which is a big complement. He got the steak and I got the hamburger steak for entree's and appetizers were the fried cheese. All of it was good my husband ate his steak without steak sauce.
