My party of 5 teenagers went around 10pm for dessert on a Saturday night. We were seated right away, and had a friendly server (Salvador). The dessert arrived quickly enough and was tasty; we ordered milkshakes and pancake puppy sundaes. I would have given 5 stars, but the person at the cash register had some trouble with my transaction (paid half with a gift card, half with credit card) and needed 2 other people to help her; this took way longer than it should have, and she had trouble with the math and asked if she could charge me 86 cents more for the tip than I'd said (I'd said to charge $10 even to the credit card, to cover the tip and the balance due after gift card, and she asked to charge $10.86). read more

Horrible service. Have been there multiple times and each time service is very spotty. There were 3 tables with 2 people at each when walked and all of them were still waiting for even water. We left, an other lady had to get up and ask for service and the other table sat waiting. Then an other couple walked in and as soon as they sat down had to coffes. read more

This is actually a much nicer than the average Denny's. Nice decor, homey wood tones and cool retro 50's/60"s Americana. Food is the same as Denny's everywhere (but I notice is improving lately with more specialized options). The servers are nice. The weekends can be a super long wait. read more

I went here really late one night with some friends. We were out all day and not much was open. I'm not going to lie I wasn't expecting much because I haven't been to a Denny's since I was a small child but I was certainly pleased with my experience. We've been coming to this Denny's for 3 years+, always had free wifi. I come this morning with my son & tried to open my Vons app...no wifi. I asked my favorite, Super awesome waiter that I absolutely LOVE, Robert (he's the absolute best & his service, WAY above the call of duty), said it got locked down about a month ago. Sam, the twerp manager, tried to tell me it's always been locked down. LIE! People like the open wifi. People go there for meetings, etc. and use the wifi. If it's a problem of people coming in and sitting for hours & only ordering coffee, then put a stipulation on the wifi-must order a minimum of $8 then you get a password, 2 hour max, unless your order is over $20 then you can get it for 3 hours. Really disappointed with this location. The service was okay, but the kitchen and management really fell below par. I ordered soft boiled eggs on my skillet (a style that is listed on the menu), and when they delivered the food, they said they were still waiting on the eggs. I thought this was odd given that they brought out an unfinished plate. About 15 minutes later, the waitress finally brought out mangled-looking eggs saying "this is the best they could do." We ate, and when we paid the bill (without any removal of my meal or even a discount), they asked if we'd had a Fanta (which we didn't), We said no - when the bill came back, they charged us for it anyway and apologized saying they couldn't fix it and gave us the cash difference. Overall this was a very poor experience, and without even a word of apology from management. We'll stick to ihop from now on. read more

I havent been at Dennys in years as its really not my type of place. but tonight my family and I had dinner there. I had the cheeseburger with fries and was pleasantly surprised. The meat patty was fresh and tasty. along with the accompaning condiments. The burger bun was also fresh and tasty. The service by our server was very attentive and pleasant. Iliana, she is one of the managers working in the morning of Veterans Day. I seriously question how people like her get to be a manager. Maybe it's because we're in Palmdale. Maybe they didn't have any other choice and put her. Maybe she doesn't even like Veterans Day, who knows, but it is an embarrassment the fact how rude she is not only to me but everybody else who is coming in. I'm not surprised how all the other works are rude because it comes from the manager itself. Denny's needs to do itself a favor. Go back to the drawing board, find friendlier people, give those people a chance even if they don't even have work experience, and hire better employees. I know it's the AV and everybody here is horrible just like the place, but there has to be someone who is willing to work who is friendlier then your own employees. Very irritated with this Denny's. I went there yesterday and the server came up and asked for my drink order. The rest of my family hadn't shown up yet but I wanted to order for all of us cause we were really hungry and I started to feel sick from not eating. When the waitress came back with our drinks I told her I wanted to order for us. She said she would be back in a couple minutes... 14 minuets later after my family came, she comes to take our order. Denny's use to be our families Sunday go to place, at the time we use to come here it was great the food was good and the service was good too, our family recently went here on Friday and the service was bad.
