I had such an amazing experience here at Dennys on Hesperian Blvd Hayward, the wait was literally only 5 minutes despite being told 20!! The food was sooo good such great taste and flavor! My server Cynthia had the best service she can give us being very respectful and on time with our food! Their manager Ankar was my old manager at a different restaurant and was the best manager I've ever worked with! Always been super respectful and able to work with me it's been over 10 years and I still remember him!! Overall amazing experience here at dennys!!! Went to Dennys today. Extremely busy and our waitress was beyond busy, she was unable to meet out needs, not her fault. I was very impressed with their managers who chipped in and met our needs and assisted their waitresses/waiters. Food was excellent. read more

I was excited to see a new Denny's in my neighborhood. So my family and I decided to have brunch this weekend. The ambiance was nice and welcoming with huge murals of Hayward shoreline and hills. I would give three stars for the foods and 2 stars for the service that needs improvement. First, our waitress needs training on bringing waters to the customers and have customers ordered the food before collecting the menu. Our ordered drinks took forever to come out, and we l waited a long while for our foods. I would have to double think if I would give it another try. read more

This branch has horrible service. They forgot my order and when I tried to remind them, the server gave me attitude. I waited for another 5 minutes and they gave my order to someone else. So I asked my waitress and she said the help from the kitchen messed up. Total fuck up on everyone's part. I don't care if they just opened. Worst Denny's I've ever been to. This is my 1st time to do this. Me and my husband 1st time here at this branch we usually eat at the industrial. Unfortunately it was my first time bad experience here at the denny's. The food was great the serving was fast but when I was about to get my bill I usually raise my hand to caught an attention to the server, there is one girl server she just look at me and leave but the 1st and 2nd table she interact with them and were seating on the 3rd table. After few minutes she come back to the 1st table and bring the thing so I raise my hand again and samething she just look at me and leave. I feel so mad I hope it wont happen to other customer. read more

Came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were greeted by friendly fast and seated right away. We ordered and received our food quickly. The food tasted great and fresh. This is Denny's so my expectations aren't high. However, the service is trash. Cold food, waiting forever for drinks and order to be taken, wrong order once food finally does come, etc. It's too bad, this new place probably won't last long if they continue to put out service like this. The service is very bad, I waited more than an hour and the food was cold and the chicken pieces burned. The waitress, all angry, claimed that my daughter's chicken was burnt and she offered to replace the dish and when I paid, I charged it twice. I definitely do not recommend it. i LOVE this Denny's location so much!! i am a college student who does a lot of homework typically at unusual times and i am so appreciative with how accommodating this business and especially their wonderful staff to ensure a relaxing study spot while also being so student friendly from having charging stations at comfortable booths, to a pleasant ambiance as the restaurant is always clean and in tact. lastly, i wanted to especially thank the night time server Ricardo. Every time I have come in to this establishment, Ricardo genuinely has been nothing short but pleasant and personable and serves with care, and genuine which is awesome. (especially because I am usually here very late night so the fact he is so pleasant, happy, and charismatic with his job makes it easy. i usually barely order anything to just something small like a drink or on occasion a side so the fact they are so phenomenal with the service is awesome. id give this place 10/10 stars if i could read more

Great location! Clean, great food and it normally comes fast. We have been here 4 times since opening. Onkar works very hard to keep things flowing. Imagine going on a Saturday when they are slammed but only a 7 minute wait. Highly recommend. read more

Horrible service online order was supposed to be ready at at 8:40 am I did not receive my order until 9:30, upon arrival I asked if my order was ready and the stupid old Mexican lady went to check came back ignored me and helped everyone that had gotten there after me once she was done she went back in the kitchen and told me it wasn't ready yet, while waiting I witnessed her Mexican stupid ass get a different person to speak Spanish to someone that only spoke Spanish to take their order, she clearly spoke Spanish she was taking to her coworkers in Spanish she needs to get fired if you don't like your job then don't work there! read more
