Sequestered into the industrial part of the city yet sharing space with eateries, shops, and gas stations, Country Waffles is a beacon for those looking to break their morning fast in order to seize the day ahead. Just off of the highway entrance, it's a convenient spot to stop by before heading off to labor (whether it's work or just errands). The parking situation is decent; they share a smaller piece of the lot with some smaller eateries and stores but if need be, the main portion of the lot in front of the Target is typically vacant. Be aware, however, the cell service in this area is miserable and Country Waffles itself doesn't have wifi (and proudly so, to encourage socializing and disconnecting from devices). As you step foot into the restaurant, you'll be greeted by the staff and seated. For individuals, you may be seated at the stools and for small to medium sized parties, you'll have the option for booths and tables. For parties of 6 or more, you may have the option to be seated at their booths where the partition can be removed, creating for an extra long booth. Upon being seated, you'll be given menus for you to peruse. Their menu is quite comprehensive for all things breakfast. Waffles, pancakes, scrambles, omelets, and benedicts are specialties here and I'd wager that it's best not to venture too far from it. As a chain, they do have their local offerings representing the culture of the community and staff. If you're unsure of what to get, don't fret as each meal comes with a side of potatoes and carb which includes your choice of toast, two pancakes, or half a waffle. Hearty, protein rich meals are also available here including a favorite of many, chicken and waffles. If you do end up coming in early, you'll be able to take advantage of their early bird special, but for the rest of us late wakers, the normal menu prices are still decent. Plus, the portions are generous and fair for the prices. A defining factor is their quickness - from order to food served, you're looking at most a 15 minute wait and the food comes out piping hot. Typically they all come at once for your table to feast together. Furthermore, the pancakes and waffles are not too sweet, fluffy on the inside and crispy where they need to be. We ordered a variety of items but my personal dish was the apple garden omelet. The egg whites were light and the ingredients were loaded and cooked well. The hash browns were crispy and lightly seasoned, making it perfect for those being conscious about sodium levels. The half waffle I got with it was crispy, yet soft and supple enough to soak up some maple syrup with each bite. Flavors were great, portions were just right, and textures were on point! The service is fantastic - Nadia helped us on this visit and she was great taking care of us. She made our first time here a great experience! After you finish your meal, consider ringing the bell to let the staff know how much you enjoyed your time here. Overall, Country Waffles is a great breakfast destination for those looking for some classic dishes at great value served by community-centered folks. The food quality is consistent, service is reliable, and prices are affordable. You won't see huge crowds here during peak hours like the big chains and you'll get, in my opinion, better food. My daughter and I came here for a late breakfast around 11am. We wanted waffles and I loved how this place had so many options! When I saw chilaquiles on the menu I was SO happy. This review is pending change, my visit was the day after Christmas. On to the review. So let me start off with the place was clean. I was allowed to seat myself. Thats how I will take it since the other patrons that showed up after me were escorted to seats. Just an observation I made. The sever was prompt, he kept my coffe.topped off. A huge plus in my books. The food was ok. I didn't order anything dynamic or complexe. My only issue was that the food was barley above cold. Initially the waffle had me excited. It was light, not dense and tasted good. Until I got to the second half. That part was slightly under cooked. But again the part that was fully cooked was enjoyable. With all that said, it was the day after Christmas and my server looked as if he was running solo dolo. This could explain away some of my gripes. I used to go here with my family when I was younger and I've recently come back with a group of friends. The restaurant is like medium size with a good amount of space. The decorations give off a western country vibe which I find very fitting for American brunch and breakfast. I really like there waffles they are on the softer side and are quite fluffy! I've driven past this place a thousand times and finally gave it a shot. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which is a bit unusual and the parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is a little hard to navigate. On the inside, the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and bigger than I thought it would be. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. My breakfast order came with half a waffle. I saved it to the end and it was delicious. I almost wish I ate it first because it cooled down by the time I ate it and I assume it's even better warm. I came here for brunch on Sunday. There is lots of parking and it is in a strip next to Yogurtland, Target, and Panda Express. We came Sunday and were seated quickly despite brunch rush. I ordered the Denver omelette. You can choose between potatoes or hash browns. I chose hash browns. You can also choose toast or 1/2 waffle. I got half waffle. My boyfriend got chicken and waffles. He didn't get to choose any side/toast etc. He got eggs on the side. The portions were average. I was full and ate all my food. My boyfriend ate all his and said he was full also. CHICKEN WAFFLE DISHES Twice this year I came here to eat. The first time was in January. On that day I ordered chicken and waffles. Along with that dish for an additional $5 more I ordered a combo of eggs and sausages. I liked the waffles as the batter was light yet there was a slight crispiness on the waffles. The hot syrup melted the butter to make the waffles sweet while the fried chicken added savory texture. The fried chicken was moist. The eggs and sausages made this meal hearty. Unbeknownst to me was Country Waffles as a dining partner of Caesars Rewards Dining. As a Caesars Rewards Member the more Rewards Credits I earn I can get discounts or comps at hotels in Vegas. The second time I came here was last Saturday. I looked at the items from the Waffle-Wiches section. From that section I choose the Southern Fried Chic-Wich. I also ordered a side order of grilled croissant. The reason I ordered the Southern Fried Chic-Wich was I enjoyed fried chicken I ate from my previous visit. The grilled croissant was disappointing as I expected the croissant to be buttery but was stale. I liked the overall flavor of the Southern Fried Chic-Wich but chicken tender was disappointing. I expected the portion of the chicken tender be that of Dave's Hot Chicken or chicken tenders you see at the deli section in the grocery store. The chicken tender at Country Waffles was flat and not plump similar to the chicken tenders I see at the freezer section the grocery store. This place was super busy for a Sunday morning.   I wasn't prepared, so I felt super rushed to place an order with all the people coming in. The place is simply decorated, not sure what kind of theme they were going for.   Service was ok,  I guess a little chaotic since there was a morning rush.  A lady that worked there was giving me her recommendations, and the manager pretty much stopped her and told her his recommendations. The food is nasty now. I'm completely shocked! The Fried chicken has a sweet flavor to it, the biscuits were DRY tasting even when you added extra gravy, the meat in the gravy had a porky taste. I went on a Sunday Morning me and my daughter ordered waffles I also got eggs and bacon. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Waffles were great but eggs and bacon were okay. The service in the beginning was good waitress was friendly and attentive. But as we were almost done another lady came and took our plates my daughter still had her fruit to eat but the waitress took her utensils so my daughter didn't finish eating it and I was looking at my phone for a few minutes she took my plate of food without asking if I was done. I think they use chicks or possibly pigeons instead of full-grown chickens. The breading was dense, the meat was dry, and the seasoning was unappealing. I'm fairly picky with fried chicken, so the size is the most important criticism in this case. My husband, however, had a much more pedestrian breakfast, and many points were missed. One would imagine steak and eggs to be near impossible to ruin. His steak was unseasoned (he likes light seasoning, but they were not told that), and his potatoes were greasy and soggy. His eggs had a small shell in them and a puddle of grease underneath. This man literally never uses sauces of any kind because for one reason or another he likes dry food. He drowned his overcooked steak in A1 and his potatoes in ketchup and Tabasco. We should have known this would happen. When we walked in, the hostess and a waitress did not acknowledge us for maybe a solid 3 or 4 mind and nobody else was waiting. They were engaged in private conversation until my husband asked if we were meant to seat ourselves. Not sarcastically mind you, he assumed we made a mistake.
