Horrible customer service. Waited for 40 minutes for a table that they said would take 20 minutes. While 1/3 of their tables were available. After waiting so long i asked why they wern't sitting people. Lady at the counter said i don't know and walked away. She then came back and i asked her again why they wern't sitting anyone she said the cook were trying catch up in the back. I told her so you guys would rather have 50 people waiting in the real small waiting area with their kids. Her response was when they sit they will still have to wait a while for their food. I asked to be removed off the waitlist and walked out. I definetly would not recommend this location. I go to Dennys a lot and i had never waited that long or have had customer service issues. read more

Denny's is Denny's but this was a new height of a bad dinner experience. The diner was warm to start with and then we had two friendly flies bombing us the whole time. She got our order quickly enough but it took about 10 minutes to get 2 coffee, 2 water and 2 orange juice. Another 15 minute wait to get eggs & bacon with only half the bacon on the order and bread instead of hash browns. Another 10 minutes to get the pancakes and another 10 to get the missing hashbrowns ( we were done already). I had to ask for more coffee and she brought a whole new cup.... with somebody's lipstick mark on it. Ewwwww. No discount for this disaster. And just to top it off... no toilet paper in the bathroom. Yikes. Skip this experience. There are other places to eat. read more

Food was good but service was horrible. We were seated right away but then left for 10 minutes until the manager came over and asked if we had been helped. Then I gave her our order jut to turn around and have to give it again to our actual waitress. Had to wait for coffee 10 min. When we finally got food the waitress began sweeping around. Don't expect much. It is Dennys you are dining at. Came here Monday night. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. First waitress spills ice tea on my wife. Gets my order wrong. Broccoli instead of fries, asked for gravy on the side, gravy on top of my potatoes, on top of that meat loaf and mash potatoes were cold. I guess the didn't microwave it long enough. Lol. Daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes, got regular pancakes. Wife got omelet with moldy rotten tomatoes. Drink that was spilled was replaced with wrong drink. I guess it was just a monday. I came in already expecting the worst cause it is Dennys we are talking about lol. Just do yourself a favor and go to fast food while traveling in the area. read more

Beautiful American diner feel, nice country music, great customer service, best of all was the food. The food that we ordered was T-bone steak, Cobb salad with prime rib and mushrooms, and breakfast items. Everything came out as pictured, portions were big, and the food was delicious. Everytime I break down and eat at Denny's I'm reminded why I say, never again. I was handed a menu as I walked in and told to sit where ever I felt comfortable, after scanning menu I placed it down which would have tipped off and good waiters that I was ready, after sitting awhile I made eye contact with waitress and I could see she said, "oh yeah, this one". STAY AWAY!!!!!! My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way back from our trip. It was pretty packed so we sat at the counter. Our first clue should've been that I had to ask to see a menu as the waitresses walked by without acknowledging us. We ordered our drinks and meal and sat, and sat, and sat....as the place started dissipating we wondered where our food was. The waitress never checked on us or even checked where our order was, we were seated right in front of the cooks. The manager wasn't apologetic for the cluster f&@@ that was going on at his restuarant. After an hour, still no food, no waitress assistance, management intervention and to top it off- when I went to use the restroom one of the cooks was doing some kind of maintenance in the woman's bathroom. Worst Denny's I have ever been to! I was told upon entering that the air conditioner was broken and it was over 100 degrees outside. I was also told that some of the staff supposedly didn't show up to work so they were understaffed. There was old dishes and trash on some of the tables still. They were out of a lot of food and drinks. Worst of all were the flies flying throughout the restaurant and landing on the food. Even with appropriately low expectations, this Denny's is a complete fail and and embarrassment to the chain. Scuzzy feeling with terrible 90s music blaring, there was no one to greet us/seat us. When our waitress eventually visited us, she didn't want to give us a kids' menu or milk for our coffee instead of cream. She even ditched us to go back to a table she had forgotten. Well let's start with the service....SLOW! We had to ask for silverware. They took 20 min to bring our drinks plus we had to wait for them to take our order and 30 min for the food! To begin, I have to say I am not a food snob. I have had many a meal on the road at various Denny's and they have been just fine. Not today. The restaurant was not crowded; was 2:50 in the afternoon. Yet we waited about five minutes to be seated in the almost empty restaurant. Our server showed up promptly to take our orders. She brought one napkin for three people. We were told they were out of Coke, pancakes (!!), apple juice, tilapia, chicken and more. I ordered the Fit Slam: egg whites with spinach, bell peppers, turkey bacon, fruit salad and an english muffin. Oops, no english muffins either. Forty minutes after entering our meal started to be served. The slow service is most likely explained by the fact I never saw our waitress carrying more than one plate at a time! When lunch finally arrived, my turkey bacon was almost RAW. The eggs were a soggy mess of wet egg whites, tomatoes and spinach (no bell peppers) dripping in a combo of water and grease. Inedible. I asked for butter for the toast and for the bacon to be cooked. Five minutes or more later, when the toast was stone cold, a yellow completely liquid substance was plopped on the table. I thought butter or margerine was a solid. It was a substance that had no relationship whatsoever with a dairy or cow. Unusable. It was pushed aside to join the inedible wet egg veggie mess. While I was waiting for the bacon to return my fruit salad consisting of banana and cantaloupe arrived. The fruit appeared to be in its natural state and I ate it. The bananas and cantaloupe were ripe and tasty, thankfully. The now mostly cooked turkey bacon arrived five minutes after that and I made a sandwich out of it with a slice of the dry toast. Well, I wanted a light lunch and it turns out that is exactly what I got! My brother's bbq burger was so well done it could have cut his gums. There was no bbq sauce on it. The bun was stale and the regular fries were so overcooked they resembled sweet potato fries. I am told the meat had no seasoning and no flavor whatsoever (this from a man who is not picky about the quality of his meat). In fairness, my husband ate what was put in front of him (a burger with avocado and overcooked fries) with no complaint. I called Denny's customer comment line as soon as I got back in the car. I was at the end of the survey leaving a message about why I rated the food quality a "1" when my phone completely crashed and the screen went dark. So sorry we stopped here. 1 star because the staff were really friendly. No stars for quality of food. Vegetables were literally fresh out of the freezer - and still frozen. The order was messed up. And the wait staff seemed stressed - and SO friendly - weird combo. I admit that I had a different image in mind - one from my youth - when we pulled into the Denny's. But the reality is not living up to the memory. Food was marginal. Veggies frozen. Garlic bread cold. Just not good food. Obviously it's a stop on the way to or from Southern California. Because we came through so early, the other dining options in the area weren't open yet. So Dennys it was. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I had a great meal off their nutrition menu (egg white, spinach, tomatoes, turkey bacon and an English muffin. A side of fruit came with it - no extra charge.) What prompted my review is that the fruit was so fresh and it wasn't filled with cantaloupe and honeydew melon. It was grapes, and strawberries, and bananas. All very fresh and plentiful. My husband and I are on our way to the bay area and stopped at Denny's. There were about 5 people in the restaurant when we sat down less than 5 min after that we ordered....we were in a hurry and new just what we wanted. We sat and waited 40 min for our food. My husband had to get up and go ask the waitress how much longer our food would be she said it would be just a few more minutes. We waited and noticed someone that came in long after us had just gotten their food. We got up and told them to cancel our order we would pay for our drinks. Old lady came in on her shift at 7:00 a.m. She asked if another employee was coming in. The other really nice Hispanic lady said no. The old lady said, "That's bull shit!!!!" Really loud too! So unprofessional. Asked for orange juice. They were out. Breakfast place without orange juice?? WTH!!! Old lady does not listen when you order. I asked for a skillet breakfast and she told me what I should order. Then, I asked for eggs on another plate. I received my breakfast with the eggs on top of my breakfast. Had to ask for napkins and when my mouth was on fire I asked for more water. She went and helped someone else!! I waited 5-10 minutes for more water!!! The coffee was burnt from sitting on the burner all morning. Old lady...let me give you some tips.... Look your customers in the eye, smile, don't talk about other people in front of customers, don't tell your customers what to order, listen and listen well to what your customers want, bring lots of napkins, drinks, should not have to ask for refills, bring salt, pepper, all the condiments, and if I ask for salsa and sour cream, just get it, don't tell me it's extra and then ask if I still want it. Serve your customers well. Take the tips or maybe it's time to retire. Really nice Hispanic lady.... You my dear are doing a fantastic job and could teach her a few things. What's the point in making people wait when there is plenty of seating.... I know.. staff is lazy... they rather loose the customers than get the business... party of 8... they told us it could be up to an hour when there was plenty of tables they could of pushed together... not only did we get tired of waiting and walked out but 2 other parties of 5 to 6 people.....guess it pays to have lazy people working for you. read more

Let's start with it was not busy at all and yet it took 5 minutes to be seated. Our coffee and water arrived 15 minutes after we were seated and our order came almost 35 minutes from the drinks. While we waited we saw at least 1 out of 5 orders come back either missing something, cold, or just flat out wrong! As for our food our hash browns were cold, eggs over cooked and the chicken fried steak was over fried! Normally it would have been sent back, but we were hungry and needed to GO! Next time, IF i ever have to stop for food and gas way out that way, we'll go to Pea Soup Andersen's. Should've known by the dead fly in the window that this might not go well. Also, as we were being seated, the table next to us called over the woman who seated us to take their order. They had been waiting awhile with no service. I guess we were lucky to be next to them so that we could get served. Ordered the new strawberry pancake puppies and a Superbird with turkey bacon and no tomato. Hubs ordered a Mac and cheese patty melt. The waitress was a bit flustered from the other table, she seemed to be rushing and not really listening. The hubs joked that there was no way I would get my sandwich as ordered but to my surprise, it was right! But not the rest of the meal... Pancake puppies were not newly fried and were actually soggy. Water tasted funny, so I asked for lemon; got back 1 slice that was 1/2 mushy on one side. I think I should get a medal for keeping calm and carrying on with my meal, instead of complaining about everything. After all, it was in the middle of nowhere and who knows what scary things they have in store for complainers out there! read more

Consistently Awesome! I have eaten at a lot of Denny's Restaurants & as a teenager I worked in one. This is by far THE BEST Denny's I have ever eaten in, (and I have dined here at least a dozen times!). This Denny's is 200 miles from my home. If I had a craving it would be worth the drive just to eat here, something I cannot say about the Denny's that is 8 miles from my home!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend this Denny's at all. My husband and I stopped by for a late dinner on our road trip. The restaurant was so hot, in the middle of a California heat wave. The air-conditioner was broken. It must have been at least 100° inside. If this Danny's doesn't even care enough to have air conditioning working apparently they don't care about their guests or staff. We stopped by last summer on our road trip and they had no air conditioning then either. So much for second chances. We took our business elsewhere. read more

We experienced terrible service here. With the restaurant not even 1/4 full and several staff members around we waited 45 mins before we saw any food. A full hour before the whole table had all our food. The waitress blamed it on a new chef in training but I don't understand how that explains her only bringing out 5 cups and 2 utensils for 6 of us. One cup was dirty on the inside. She took it back and never brought a new one. Half of the meal came after sitting under the heat lamp for at least 10 minutes. French toast was brought without any syrup so my daughter ate it with jam. One meal came with only half of the items ordered. 15 minutes later we asked a second time for the pancakes that come with it and she was confused. At this point I knew to ask for syrup to come with them. When she brought them out a few minutes later she actually asked if we wanted syrup. I got my food (which had been just sitting under a heat lamp) after everyone else was finished. To say our waitress was incompetent would be an gross understatement. I wish we would have left 30 minutes into this debacle. Apparently someone shortly before us stormed out without paying, I don't blame them. We came in a happy family and left miserable. Sunday (Jan 1) I was at this location waiting to be served when a few tables away from me a woman not only refused to be served by the waitress (waitress's name is Alina) because she was not Caucasian BUT then continued to bash her and proceeded to tell her "Get out of my country!" the waitress tried to defend herself and the manager came over AND PAID FOR THIS RUDE WOMAN'S MEAL!!
