This Subway is located on a refueling exit off I-5. The restaurant was clean inside and the staff were very courteous. My 5 meat Italian tasted very good with freshly baked bread and other ingredients. The chocolate chip cookies were very good and melted in my mouth. I come to this location often as I live close by and love to eat more on the healthy side, I order the salad bowl, both times I have came when a specific lady was working and was not happy, first time she made my salad bowl she literally grabbed from the pile of slimy spinach that was in the corner of the bin, then tried to fluff it around in her hands and i was kinda astonished as there was perfectly good spinach surrounding it... weirrd. second time today i come in and asked for a salad bowl again, same lady ( all other People do it great for me, no issues) she grabbed the tiniest scoop of salad and again fluffed it up with her hands, jt was barely any greens. she put a scoop of chicken then the bowl with lettuce literally sank down because it was barely on any lettuce to begin with. i thought about saying something but i feel this is common sense. i think she may also be owners cause why so cheap with the ingredients. its giving subway as a whole a bad vibe. they lost a customer who was becoming a regular. wont be back for me to eat your slimely lettuce or lack there of, shame cause the other ladies got it right. i dont want to risk this lady making my lunch anymore read more

This may be the only chain store I will ever review, but its run by a very special family who have always warmly greeted us on our many drives on the I-5 in Central California. We stop in Santa Nella, as it has several different gas stations and with competition, the prices are always fair. Plus its just about the place where the tank is down to a quarter full and breakfast time for us. We discovered this little Subway shop and decided to give it a try for breakfast. The Indian lady who is almost always there greeted us and prepared our sandwiches with fresh ingredients to our order. The food was fresh and shop clean so we decided to return ... and return... and return! We have since met her family on various visits - the husband, son and daughter. All greet us warmly and remember us. Once when I made the trip alone, the lady asked with concern, "where is your wife?" I told her she would be by in a week and when my wife visited they both had a good laugh. When you have such lovely people managing a well-run Subway its a pleasure to visit as they are living the American dream of becoming successful business people. The service and quality are first rate and they will pile as many veggies on your sandwich as you want. Their $5 special for a footlong sandwich is a greaty deal. Saw the signs for Subway before taking the exit ramp and the location is conveniently next to the Loves truck stop! We could smell the fresh bread before we opened the door and were welcomed with an immaculate space, and as per COVID precautions the dining area was closed down and there were visible foot signs indicating 6 ft distance and a mask requirement stated on each front door. Worst service ever. I'm appalled. I called the store 3 times before someone answered to take a catering order. The girl who answered was laughing and in Spanish said "I don't know what he wants". After asking her how much her catering platters were and that I wanted 4. Thats not the end of this horrid review. The girl on the line said, "Our manager will call you." I gave her my number and the manager called right away. He askef a couple of questions to make sure I was legit and not playing around with them, which is understandable. I agreed to make a phone transaction but told him I would call him back. When I called he was at a party and asked that I text him my order and my card information. I told him I was uncomforable doing that, and to call me when he was available. He contacted me via-text saying his emloyees "accidentally turned off the computer". DO NOT COME HERE. I Use to work at this dump! They treat their employees like sh*t, rip off employees, and do not care about their customers. They have MOLD in the soda machine & sink used to wash dishes. The restrooms were also washed using the same sponges to WASH DISHES! The store is not up to code. When the health inspector comes in, they act like they are up to code. Also, none of their employees are certified to handle food. I will never eat subway ever again after I've seen how the owners, Raj and Mr. B handle their food. There was an instance in which a customer wanted spinach but the owners made me lie to the customer and say we didn't have any spinach. Yelp users should ignore earlier negative comments on this location. We were very impressed today by the clean facility and friendly service, but most of all the freshness of the ingredients. Many subways serve dry bread or cheese, somewhat limp veggies, etc, but this one prepared the best tasting chicken sandwich we have ever had at a Subway (and we eat SW sandwiches frequently), with very fresh veggies and bun--just like it should be! It is family run and obviously they care about their business. Also, they do handle gift cards, subsequent to a prior report.
