Was in the neighborhood and my friend recommended this spot for lunch. First of all, I am a huge sucker for alfalfa sprouts, so was super stoked when she mentioned they had this in their sandwiches. They have 4 sizes, and a mini was perfect for us. I had the ham bacon avocado with sprouts and love that you can make it a combo meal with fries and a drink. Had the beer battered fries, and had no idea how much they would give! My friend got the regular fries, which were skinnier but still had seasoning on it. Sides of ranch and hot sauce were perfect, but note they do charge 75 cents for any side dips. I did not realize until later when I overheard her telling another customer, they do charge the credit card fee to the customer. I looked at my receipt and indeed they did. Though I understand small businesses need to pass that charge on, it would've been nice to know that or have a small sign that they do that. That would not stop me from coming again, the sandwiches were very delicious, stacked with plenty of toppings. It's so crazy to see this chain expanding. Good for them! Was visiting my mom town, Fresno, when we decided to make a trip to Monterey. We normally make the pit stop in Los Banos, and this time I was excited to see one of my favorite sandwiches places out here. The staff were friendly and helpful at this location. The cashier didn't mind all the questions my friend had, and was able to explain each item. I went with my usual, the Chipotle Ranch Chicken. Like usual, I wasn't disappointed. There was plenty of chicken and sauce inside. Orders a side a fries, new to me. They were surprisingly flavorful and definitely a nice addition to the menu. Didn't want fast food but needed fast food and didn't want to cook or throw anything together. SO, logged onto Doordash and went through their list and here we are. Ordered: 1. Turkey Avocado Lettuce Wrap: packed with lots of turkey, pickles, tomatoes, sprouts, red onion and avocado and wrapped in enough lettuce to hold it all together. Some mayo and mustard drizzled within. Produce was crisp, fresh and vibrant in color. 2. Veggie Sandwich in their dutch crunch bread. Comes with avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, sprouts, cream cheese and mayo and mustard. Again all produce fresh and vibrant in color. This is is a great restaurant option! Nice decor, friendly staff. We reserved a private room for a lunch with a group of 20 coming from different areas of CA, this was a great choice. Our server was excellent!! The menu offers terrific apps, salads, sandwiches (the meat on theFrench dip was very generous), and pizzas. There was something for everyone. Drove through los Banos, and decided to try this place, was my first time and it did not disappoint! I ordered beer batter fries and because of another review, I asked for them crispy and the were absolutely delicious!! The sandwiches are decent. The bread choices aren't vast, I think I opted for white bread, if that tells you anything. I suppose what bothers me most, is, they charge extra for using a credit card. Yes, a "credit card fee" of 3.5%. Being nickled and dimed to death in our present society is really off putting. This is a perfect example. WTH, every Italian Sub Sandwich I have ordered always had multiple type of meat, so I kept looking at the menu and didn't see anything, so I had to ask again do you have a Italian Sub type Sandwich with multiple meat? and she said yes this one, but again where is the menu, whats in it, how much does it cost... Unfortunately, I have to give this a one star due to food sanitation issues. Once fries leave the kitchen and are given to a customer, they should be considered contaminated. They should never be taken back to the food prep area and given to another customer. My sister, mom and I went here this afternoon and placed three to-go orders. My mom ordered a couple of sandwiches and the 5 oz fry. A few minutes after the employee distributed my mom's meal out, the employee came to our table, grabbed the fries out of my mom's bag, and said that she accidentally gave her 10 oz fries instead of the 5 oz fries she ordered. Apparently, the employee hadn't considered that, within a few minutes, a customer can place their hand in the fries to taste a few. Honestly, we were shocked because we've never seen a food establishment do that before. After a couple of minutes, my mom asked the employee if she was going to throw the 10 oz. fries that she took back away. The employee said no. My mom then made sure that the employee knew that her hands had touched the fries so they needed to be thrown away. The other patron in the store who was waiting for her order thanked my mom on her way out of the store. Outside of Deli Delicious not putting jalapeños on my sandwich when I clearly asked for extra jalapeños (also noted on my receipt), the sandwich that I got was really good. Unfortunately though, I wouldn't consider going back to a place that made that food handling error with us on our first visit. Lord knows how many other food handling errors are made on a daily basis. I hope management sees this review and gives some refresher training to the staff. read more

Could only give three stars. The main reason was because of cleanliness if I wouldn't of planned of using my gift card I would of probably went Somewhere else. The gentleman who I believe was manager had no beard guard on while making sandwiches. There was another worker that had a hat on but had all kinds of hair hanging through the front part which defeats the purpose of the hat. There was also a young lady who had long strands in both sides not being pulled back. Now luckily there aaa no hair in my sandwich and it was good but can't let those things slide. I would think they would like there customers to feel like this is a super clean establishment. I will probably give them another shot hopefully they fix these small but important issue read more
