After another bad experience with the pharmacy, it occured to me that I haven't had one single good experience at this pharmacy dating back to 2014, the first time I went there. I think the other reviews all cover the bases but here's another for the pile: I had a Dr's appointment this morning and the nurse at the clinic told me "oh yeah this (prescription of 2 basic medications) shouldn't take them more than an hour to fill." I called after a couple of hours and was told "oh yes, it will be ready tonight 100%, it's being prepared now and we're open til 9pm. I will call you as soon as it's ready." Alarm bells. At least two other times previous, I remember them telling me they'd call me when my prescription was ready then never actually calling me. After 2.5 more hours came and went, I called back trying to get an update and the automated system told me that one of my medications were ready but the other was not. So I went back to waiting for that call, but the call never came. Fast forward to 6:30pm, it's late November and fully dark out, I called again and the automated system told me both were ready to be picked up. Okay. She didn't call me as promised, but they're ready... so I head over to Walgreen's and find the pharmacy completely locked up. She told me they closed at 9, but they actually closed at 6 today. I need that medication. I'm done with this clownshow of pharmacy. It's ALWAYS something here. The Leadership person that spoke to me was understanding and tried to help me, but unable to access the area where my prescriptions are presumably locked up. I hope someone from Corporate reads these reviews, this is hands down the worst-run pharmacy I've seen in my 50+ years on earth living in multiple states. I haven't had any problems with the rest of the store. Only the pharmacy. Do better. Update: I never received the call this morning that the Leadership person last night promised she would personally see to me receiving. Instead of waiting around all day, I just called and went through the automated system, confirming again that both medications were ready. When I got there, of course they were unable to locate my bag for several minutes while my dizzy ass leaned on the corner of the wall trying not to faint. And the disorganization I saw while they looked for my prescriptions was astounding. It somehow has gotten worse than it used to be. I can't believe they can find anything back there. Let me tell everyone about this pharmacy. Not the best pharmacy to go to, a lot of walgreens are but I would have to honestly say that this one is worse. The staff is not friendly at all meaning the pharmacy tech and the assistants. The pharmacists I have no problem with, all they provide are the consultations. I myself work as a pharmacy tech for over 20 years and I know a lot working in this field that it can have some challenges but overall patience is always key and showing friendliness as well, as patience we want to make sure we can trust the pharmacy we go to, u know. I would say, this pharmacy needs a lot of improving in their customer service, getting the meds ready in a timely manner. Not 3 days later and not us having to call them to get the meds that the dr called in 2 or 3 days ago, that's so mind-blowing to me. I understand maybe there is a short staff, I have asked about this ongoing issue with the store management and she also told me, short staff in pharmacy dept. Well if that's the case then why not hire more part time staff or better, open another pharmacy in this town. That would be smart given more ppl are moving here to los banos. This is getting bad and something has to be done, u have health risk, elderly patients and patients of all kinds trying to get their meds. The only reason why I have to come here every now and then is because my insurance is only contracted with walgreens in this town, most of the time I will end up getting meds in San Jose since the wait is not so ridiculous n I can also do multiple errands too. This pharmacy and the employees are beyond extremely rude and unprofessional. The pharmacist cashier made a mistake on HER end and sent my father home with Hydrocodone that belonged to a different customer and repeatedly harassed my parents to take back the medication until she got in her car and went to my parents house to get the unopened medication herself. My father has bell's palsy and my mother is dying. This discourteous woman purposely interfered with my mother's medication and gave her half of her prescription without a reason. That lady stated that my mom forfeited her rights the day she took 1/2 of the medication and can no longer get the rest of it. After contacting my mom's Dr, he stated the lady lied about faxing over any paperwork. She lied again stating that my mom picked up the medication at Rite Aid when my mom hasn't been there in over 2 years. After arguing once again, she let me pick up the medication. This complete incompetent and ignorant woman left my parents emotionally distraught. They have been reported to the California Board of Pharmacy! read more

I made an appointment for a Moderna Omicron booster a week ago. Today, I waited for over half an hour after showing my paperwork, only to be told to come back 2 hours later to let the dose thaw. I suppose I was lucky somebody told me, otherwise I'd be waiting 2.5 hours. This is one very inept pharmacy. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. Oh yeah, if you speak Spanish, apparently one is allowed to jump the line at the pharmacy counter. That happened while I was waiting. Horrible pharmacist " David C." and his staff. Rude and don't care... We have been to the pharmacy six times in two days and my daughters medication still not ready. I spoke with the staff upfront who did not care and then I spoke with the pharmacist, David C. and completely dissed me; I have never seen a Walgreen's pharmacy managed this horribly my life. Completely mismanaged with weak pharmacist in charge and staff with horrible customer service training. Incredibly rude employees . On another occasion at evening time, I was at the drive up window after waiting for 20 minutes in line, and as I came up to the window at 7:58 pm , employee rudely and hurriedly slammed down the metal blinds to close for the night (close was 8 pm as I was told when I went inside the store). The review below me is right, they don't ask you to wait an hour or two while they make it. Instead it takes a damn hour just waiting in line. This place is terrible with their pharmacy! I get it sometimes, understaffed maybe, busy lines possibly, or maybe even backed up with orders....but oh no, they move like it's against company policy to have the slightest work ethic. The drive thru is intended to be fast, I've waited over an hour with 4 cars ahead of me. Did they decide to make each order on the spot??! I have to stop going because of their lines, and because of the high blood pressure their pharmacy is giving me. Had a problem with a gift card, I needed 2 cards, the total amount exceeded walgreens limit, so I took 1. The cashier activated the card, and kept the 2nd. Update for previous review... I'd change it to -5 stars if I could. The next day I sent a certified letter to the store manager, Nadia Griffith. (I only communicate in writing). Per Miguel's instructions, I asked her what reasons Miguel had given her to pass on to me. I thought it rather childish that he wouldn't tell me to my face but... Nadia emailed me back and asked her to call to discuss the situation. I replied that at that time I didn't want to discuss anything; I just wanted to know what Miguel's explanation was. Only he would know that, so nothing to discuss. Just provide the info I was promised. This ridiculous situation has been nothing but back and forth emails, still without explanation from Miguel. It's not difficult.. Miguel had told me that I could get his answer from the store manager THE NEXT DAY.. it's now been 3 MONTHS, and no resolution. I've contacted Walgreens Corporate Consumer Relations via mail, and also sent another email. I had initially submitted a complaint in April but never heard anything after the standard "We'll look into the matter and get back to you" reply. Next step will probably be BBB. All this because a shift manager couldn't tell me why he wouldn't serve me anymore, and his manager wouldn't take care of it! read more

Now this is the 3rd 24-HR pharmacy of their chain that I have used across 3 different cities.... In the other two locations aka: anywhere other than the Bermuda Triangle that is LB=Los Banos, aka: The toilet of the universe lol, the previous two NOT LB locations rock it like no tomorrow, this one here however is a nightmare from the bowels of heLL and here's why. 1.) Prescriptions CALLED in multiple times from my docs office in advance, get an email notification or call from Walgreens to pick them up. Show up they either can't find the scripts, tell me they are OUT of stock of the med OR not get this: OH, i have no idea how this happened Ms.Thomas BUT the RX that was called here to us in heLL somehow got transferred to the Modesto, CA store would you like to pick it up +there instead? OMFG??!! Really? I just drove home to LB from Modesto (60+ miles away btw) from work gave ya over an hour to fill it and now ya wanna know if I'd like to drive all the way back after finally getting home from work and I live in LB aka: HELL?, and the script was called into to this location but you can't tell me how it got transferred to Modesto??? Sweet baby JeSus!!!.... Exactly...... You probably think I'm making this all up however I have the permanent brain damage from having to deal with these pharmacy "twilight zoners" (as I fondly call them now) far to many times to fabricate such ludicracy... Almost every time I go there's some problem, whether it is a problem with the way the prescription is written or they are "out of stock". These people really don't care about the patients. If they are out of stock they won't try and find a solution as to when or where else to go opposed to some pharmacies. Not to mention wait time is usually up to 4 hours. If you have to get a prescription filled in Los Banos, go to Los Banos Drugs they are efficient, personable people, and the turn around is very quick. read more

Couldn't get pictures we had sent to their photo shop because they said they looked like they were taken by a professional and we needed a proof of release. The pictures were of my son from over a year ago and I couldn't find the paper I needed to prove that I could print them. I've never had this issue anywhere else before. I just needed to fill a frame really quickly. They were 3 4x6 photos. It was extremely irritating, inconvenient and we will never go there for anything again. read more
