I just had to share this heartwarming experience we had at Sorensen Ace Hardware! My toddler is…read moreabsolutely obsessed with construction equipment--he spots every dump truck, excavator, and backhoe wherever we go. We pass by Sorensen Ace every day on our way to and from daycare, and there's one piece of equipment he's particularly smitten with, which we've affectionately named Bert. Today, on our way to feed the ducks along the canal, we decided to pop into the yard to check out all the machinery, including Bert. To our delight, a wonderful gentleman who was working nearby noticed my son's excitement. He generously invited us over and allowed my little one to climb onto the excavator! Watching him push and pull all the handles, moving the equipment back and forth with sheer joy was priceless. This kind man truly made my son's day--and possibly his entire week--by letting him "ride" Bert and explore all the controls. I didn't catch his name, but he is an absolute gem! Thank you for your kindness and for making a little boy's dreams come true. We can't wait to come back and visit Bert again! Highly recommend stopping by for anyone with little construction enthusiasts!

Instead of Sorensen's for a propane refill, I suggest Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply allows you to…read morepay outside after your tank is full, so you don't need to make 2 frustrating trips inside, like Sorensen's does. Also Tractor Supply was considerably cheaper, $3.69 a gallon or roughly $18 to fill a standard 4.5 gallon tank. Sorry to say, Sorensen's doesn't have its propane act together. Tractor Supply does. For whatever reason, Tractor Supply (Los Banos) is not listed as a propane refiller on Yelp. Don't believe Yelp.

Im getting very annoyed yesterday I purchased an in store product it offered free installation and that it would be ready that day. After I pay about 30 min later a girl calls me from Home Depot saying sorry it wont be ready until next wed because the assembly guy only comes on wed. Me: oh I need it by next wed is it easy to assemble? Girl: yea it is? Me: is it a big box that will fit in my convertible without tearing seats? Girl: yea its pretty small. So I get there to pick it up and the box is pretty big. The guy helping me prints up a pick up confirmation sheet, so I tell him I need my hubby to pu in a truck he said thats fine just have hubby show this paper. I leave hubby calls me upset that he left work to go down there unaware that its not assembled. I told him I would do it because they switched things up and said it couldn't be done till next week. Hubby:no I want it assembled thats what was promised when you payed for it. Guy helping hubby said it will be done yesterday or today. Still no word from home depot today and so I call and girl says: note here says manager daniel spoke to wife and informed her of assembly wed and wife was ok with that. Me: I never spoke with a manager named daniel? Girl: Items not even here its been picked up already! Me: item has not been picked up girl: are you sure you didn't send someone that already pu? Me: no my hubby went to pu but left it because guy he spoke with promised to fix it yesterday or today and that obviously hasn't happened yet!
