The store was pretty crowded, yet only one register was opened. There was obviously a long line at the one register that was opened. Customers were complaining but they never opened another register while I was there. I just decided to go and use the self - checkout register. Some senior ladies were struggling with those self checkout registers. They should have more staff on hands to help people with the self checkout systems if they are going to have only one register opened. Otherwise this Target store is pretty clean and nicely organized. Parking is huge ! read more

Pretty crazy when I go here to get stuff for a family gathering tomorrow and I'm going through line spending money in this store when I could've went to there competition right next door. Maybe I should of since the cashier did not want to pay attention to me. I'm standing here waiting for my receipt and the cashier decides to start talking to the manager about his schedule showing his underwear to the whole world since he can't pull his pants up. As an unofficial Target inspector, I found this location reasonable. It's not particularly organized or well stocked but it wasn't a dirty store. El Baño (the restroom) was even reasonably clean. Out of all the targets I have gone to this one has always left me a little dissatisfied. The restrooms seem to always be missing something and since they are off Pacheco pass and it's a high visitor area you'd think that they have the restrooms always stocked up. Also I feel like this store is always behind in like the current target stock if that makes any sense. For example, I can go to the target next to my house here in Clovis and find their newly released items I can go to that one and I can't find anything new. You have an older employee at the register/self check out that has the worst attitude. It appears she dislikes everyone and everything! I always manage to spend no less than $100 but more upwards in the range of $300+ at your store and dealing with her upsets me for not taking my money and business elsewhere. I don't understand how someone working in "Customer Service" just never seems to have the slightest sympathy, empathy or just plain courtesy. It's happened to me; my family, friends and colleagues over and over). I don't obviously expect for anything to change but I believe a good solid talk may help a little but I'm definitely not holding my breath for anything to change as it has been allowed far too long. I understand age, health, personal issues, etc. Who knows, we may all be dealing with personal issues in one way or another and should try to not make things worse for anyone.... The shoe department is a mess! I came here to get shoes for my daughter. I checked online first to make sure the shoes were in stock because we live 30 minutes away. I got to the store 30 minutes after it had opened. I could not find the shoes that their site said was in stock. So I went to the customer service. An employee couldn't find the shoes and said they didn't have them. So I asked her to call a manager. The employee continued looking while the manger explained to me that the shoes could be anywhere in the store. read more

Update: I went shopping a week or two ago, I was in the shoe section and needed help looking for a pair of shoes I saw on the target website that were supposedly available in the store. All the shoes were all scattered around and I wasn't having any luck finding them. I asked a worker named Kaylee (I hope I got the spelling right, she was young and had brown hair) for help. Not very helpful or polite. She kind of just glanced at the aisle for a few seconds and didn't even look in the back to see if they were in stock. Today (April 5th, 2019 around 3pm) I got in line and noticed that there was only 2 lanes open. I couldn't go through self checkout because I had alcohol. Anyway, The line that I got into WAS SOOO SLOW. There was only 2 people in front of me. I think the cashiers name was Fatima I can't remember. I was trying to be patient but I couldn't believe I was in line for just under 15 minutes. WHY?!?!?!?! The people in front of me didn't really have all that much stuff. The manager was just walking around the registers doing nothing. He could of at least called for another cashier. By the time I left the store I was pretty irritated. I've been to many targets and I must say, this store feels the most welcoming and it's always clean! The staff here is beyond compare! They are so friendly I constantly consider becoming part of the team! I LOVE being there. The friendliness and helpfulness of the team members always puts me in a good mood! I've had almost 0 negative experiences in the 8 years I've been in and out of this store. They always make things right if they are wrong and they always make me feel like they care about me. It's kept stocked and clean as a Target should be. Plenty of parking. Though no matter what time I go there always seems to be a shortage of staff... whether it be at the registers or in their department (ex electronics or women's clothing). I'm not sure where the people are that keep the store in such a clean state. Are they elves? Though it's a Target.. just let the $1 section wash all your worries away. Pharmacy Manager "Randal" is a JERK!!!! I called to inquire about rates on my prescription and he REFUSES to quote me over the phone. I ask will it help if I visit your location to inquire? His response was "NO, I refuse to give you quotes, I'm too busy to deal with you???" That's a MANAGER talking now? It's pretty sad to hear/see that type of service coming from a target team member! I know it's kind of odd to review a Target because they're pretty much everywhere and everyone knows what Target is like but.... I feel like this Target is much cleaner than most other ones I've been to in more urban areas. I guess because this is such a small town so it must get much less traffic. Still, it's always nice to shop in a clean and organized store. The downfall is that since LB is a small town I don't think we get as big of a selection of certain things than other stores do. Usually, my experience here is just fine, though there have been a few times when they didn't have what I came for. What knocks my review down to 3 stars is stupidity of a few employees. I came here to get some pictures printed including a few enlargement prints (8x10) and when I came back to pick up my order they said that unfortunately they are out of the (8x10) paper and I should come back tomorrow. Now I'm sure they probably order their photo paper from somewhere other than where they get the one they have on their shelves, but seriously??? This Target has maintained its "brand new" feel. I'd rather spend 50cents more here than rummaging through dirty old Walmart next door (their recent upgrade just made it tolerable). People here are nice, though I have to admit it might take some time to have somebody come help with merchandise. I returned a few things here with no hassle at all. I've never experienced a long line at this Target, probably 2 customers ahead of me at the most. I was passing by this target coming from the Bay Area and omg I loveeees! Im a couponer and target has been a hassle lately. They swear they get extra brownie points for being jerks. Stopped by this Target for the first time on my way from San Jose to the Fresno area. I only intended to stop here for a few minutes, but ended up spending much longer and finding a number of good deals. Nice, clean store in a new looking shopping center with a bunch of other stores and eating places in the vicinity. Overall they've been very greedy. Tried purchasing something for Black Friday as it was advertised and they wouldn't give me the correct deal. This was the third Target I went to and they were the only one that wouldn't give me the deal they advertised and also didn't have their own weekly ad nearby to check what their sale actually was. Also another time I'd bought something from them and returned it due to it not being what was supposed to be in the box(not sure how that even happened) and they refused to refund me until corporate got involved and told them they have to.
