I am not sure if it's a brand new Hobby lobby, but the surrounding businesses looked fairly new. Hobby lobby always gets me for my crafting and decorating needs. What surprised me about here is how clean & organized it was. There were so many well stocked aisles. I've been a retail store manager for over 30 years, and how I saw your MOD treat the team was horrible. It's the holidays, the store is busy and there's lines. They're calling the MOD to the front and she doesn't show up for awhile but once again I get it, it's a big store things happen, but when Christina I believe that is her name with red hair gets to the front she is so rude to the cashier's. She's mad because they're asking for breaks, asking to suspend transactions,and simply asking for help. The way her voice was raised and that she was demoralizing them, and she kept treating them poorly was so embarrassing for them especially in front of all the people in line. A MOD is supposed to remain calm and be there as support for your teams in the front line and if she has issues take it off the sales floor as they should not be treated like that in front of customers as it is embarrassing for them but also the customer's having to watch it. My boyfriend was in the store looking n shopping n the manager a white lady with glasses n a long ponytail sorry I can't remember her name got in front of him accused him of stealing asked for the merchandise n he was like what !!! U got the wrong person and she didn't think so so she continued to block him n ask for merchandise he didn't even have . Not very Christian like for a Christian store . He just walked out I was outside n he told me what happened soi sent back in and asked to speak to the manager n I asked her so u do this tall your customer's n she said yes we do !! I was like really so why didn't u just ask the 2 people that walked out n she says it's random . I call BULLSHIT !!! As a customer i did not feel like they valued him.n that's very sad !!! read more

My complaint with Hobby Lobby isn't the inventory, because anyone who has ever been here knows they have EVERYTHING you need My complaint isn't the pricing, because we all know they are expensive but have good sales. My complaint is with the Staff, especially the Assistant Manger. She is so rude!!!! What ever happened to service with a smile? Smile? How about a mere acknowledgement that she appreciates our business, even if some of the items need to be turned. Hey! That's what crafting is all about! I love hobby lobby. It's the best store ever but I can't stand the employees/ mainly managers. They are so rude and disrespect to the customers. It's almost as if they hate their job so they treat the customers like shit. The sad thing is it's the managers acing this way and teaching the employees to be rude. Mauricio is a manager there and he's rude as heck. It's gotten so bad with the way they treat me here that I dread going to my favorite store in my own home town that I have to drive to Gilroy most of the time now and the employees there are amazing!! I've spoken to a few and they say I'm not the only customer doing the drive to avoid going to the Los Banos hobby lobby. Yes it's that BAD!!!!!
