Your customer service needs serious improvement. A cashier assistant in the self-check out, I believe her name is Keily, absolutely rude and unfriendly. I understand it's the holidays and not everyone is happy about their jobs but be thankful, put your misery aside to help your customers, doesn't take more than a second to fix an issue at the self-checkout. If she's that miserable and hateful, move her to the back, away from the public and put someone helpful up front to assist. You would do the community and your customers a favor! read more

I waited almost 20 minutes in the razor section waiting for someone who was supposedly on their way to help me get an item from the glass.. after those 20 minutes i decided to go ask another worker for some help (they told me someone was on their way). so I went back to the area and after another 15 minutes i had enough and decided to leave without the item that I specifically went to the store for.. people should not have to wait that long for an item. they didn't even seem understaffed and the associates that were there seemed miserable. I don't even blame the associates for waiting that long, i blame the management and team leads who are supposed to help MANAGE and LEAD the company and associates for customer satisfaction.. terrible. read more

This review is about their online ordering and pickup ONLY! Like most of the residents of Los Banos we work outside of town. So the fact that I can order what we need for the week online and just drive up and pick up is such a life saver. It not only keeps my cost within budget (because I am not throwing random items in the cart that are not on my list) but it is also so convenient because it keeps me from having to walk into the store. I've been using this service for probably a year now. Each time I've been greeted with happy employees whom are happy to see me and are upbeat and ensure that you are satisfied. They ensure to ask if I've seen my substitutions and Unavailable's. They make small talk and don't make you feel like "hurry and get out"....lol! There was even an instance where it began to rain and the lady begged me to get back into the car because she didn't want me to get wet because she said I looked nice. I grabbed an umbrella any way and helped bagged my stuff one handed..while trying to keep us both under the umbrella. I know that part of the service is that they bring it out to your car and load but they aren't getting paid to get hurt either. Them cases of water are heavy and lifting those all day long I'm sure puts some wear and tear on the body. It kind of irks me when I see people just sitting in their cars waiting to be served. If you're injured that is one thing but if you are just sitting in your car because you have a false sense of entitlement it's wrong. I've ordered everything online from dairy, canned items, meat, fresh vegetables, etc. I've never gotten bruised or ugly looking vegetables and my meat and cleaning products were always specially bagged just in case, even if I don't ask for bags. Those that deal with the curbside should get some sort of differential pay. read more

I used the personal shopper/grocery~pick~up service today & what a disappointed that was... The potatoes selected for me were rotten~as I drove away I smelled an awful foul odor like dead flesh in my car~I pulled over to see what it was I went to the back of my car and looked through the bags and sure enough the bag of potatoes were rotten! How could your shoppers not smell or see a bag of rotten potatoes? I'll never use this service again... To make matters worse: I went back inside to return the rotten potatoes then bought a few more items and three of those items rang up at a higher price and they were listed for in the store so basically you're ripping off your customers from left to right! Did a Walmart pick up. When I got half way home I began to smell something similar to a rotten diaper. I live in near several dairy farms - so, I figured it was the country air. When I got home and opened my trunk. the odor hit me like a ton of bricks..... this is what I found. I tried to get a refund on the app and they denied my refund saying I need to return to store. These people think I am going to ride in the car with this rotten crap and use up my gas in the process.... What a joke!!! Also, the people who picked this order -- honestly didn't see the box damage, which meant something was wrong? My other items were not bagged.... Just tossed in the trunk. Big JOKE. Above and beyond expectations! We we looking for a highly reviewed portable basketball hoop for our grandson. Many reviews complained that they wished they spent more but did get what they paid for the price. We found an outstanding unit , but out of stock in the Bay Area. Raul at the online center found ONE in Patterson so we ordered and planned to drive out to pick it up. We were notified five hours later that they could not locate the one unit that was listed. After calling multiple Walmart locations we went back to the.com customer service. Mark scoured the computer system all over Northern California and found two were available in Los Banos and made multiple attempts to contact them and have one held for us. We finally got a hold of Rene the manager in LosBanos in the sports department and she took her time to chase it down found they only had one left and was willing to hold it for us. So we packed her bags to get the special gift that fit all of the criteria are grand son wanted and headed down to pick it up and everything went smooth from there It is not often I can truly say that large corporate online services went way above and beyond all expectations. Also we found the exact same model at other competitors but they were definitely 25 to 50% more expensive for the exact same make and model. I'm from San Jose and believe me it's the same and the people working there are the same.. in my opinion some people expectation are so much but we have to understand that people are all different. She said "hey you can't do that you have to go all the way around"! Not a pleasant person at all. I been coming to this Walmart since I moved to The Valley about a year ago and never had an issue here or at any other Walmart but this last time I went 1/18 about mid day was one of the worst experience, they were giving a ruffle out for some jewelry gifts, well there was a crazy crowd so I decided to wait and go after to just ask about and yeah definitely curiosity killed the cat. I stand waiting and the cashier rude lady who smelled like ashtray from Walmart helping with the raffle completely ignored me and few other people cut me off and she was so friendly with them so I got mad and took some stuff she handed them for "FREE" and she snatched it off saying is not for me. She Finally noticed me, then I asked what I needed to do and she gave me an attitude face saying something not even making eye contact by that point I was irritated so I left... This place has really gone down hill!! But then again so has Los Banos in general. Have had many bad experiences here employees, products and even customers. However would return due to prices, but if they have to continue to lock everything up and flagging down an employee is a challenge all in itself is so not worth it anymore. I know it's not their fault they have to continue to lock up products due to GHETTO customers stealing everything but do I really want to shop at a store where they have to take certain precautions that effect loyal customers. This may be one of the best Walmarts I have ever been to! (Their evil practices makes me rate all Walmarts at a baseline of 1, which is why this place only gets a 2. I usually don't shop here unless they have something I can't get anywhere else, i.e. Walmart exclusives.) Here's why: 1. Clean bathrooms. This Walmart has the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen at a Walmart. Cleaner than most Target bathrooms, and I have been to a ton of Targets (I'm a Target girl, having chosen the lesser of two evils, though I still try to patronize small businesses wherever still possible -- which admittedly is less and less these days). 2. Stock availability. They actually had the thing I have gone to 5 other Walmarts looking for. Oddly, the girl helping me said that the system was telling her they had 9 in stock and hadn't sold any in the last 7 months, but we could only find 2 on the shelves. (I bought both just in case I am not able to ever find them again.) Which brings me to... 3. Customer service. At most other Walmarts or other big box stores, especially the lower end ones (and how much cheaper can you go than Walmart, srsly), it's hard to get someone to help. That said, it was kind of funny that she lost her scanner/price gun thingie and asked me for help looking for it. We looked high and low up and down the aisle and finally found it on a top shelf. She couldn't reach it and asked me to get it for her, but I'm short too so I had to stand on the lower shelf to get it. Would have been a total lawsuit had I slipped and fallen. 4. Extra self-checkout stations. This one had more than I've ever seen at a Walmart or Target. It's still disorganized like a Walmart, boxes in the way everywhere, not enough checkout lanes open for the foot traffic coming through, the fluorescent lights they use are harsh and give me headaches when most fluorescents don't bother me, and flooring/fixtures/etc. are all just shabbier in general than at Target. read more

I was thinking something has changed about the photo department. A few months ago I ordered a print and computer sent me notification that it was ready. I went to pick up and to my luck photo was completely shut down for remodel. Couldn't get refund as it was online purchase. Two days ago I tried one more time in high Hope's that they had better communication. Sure enough photo us up and running, and I got notification that it was ready. I go in and they weren't sure how to change paper roll and told me to come back in 1 hour. I go back and its oh I'm sorry it's actually broken we have to have a tech guy come fix it. Call back before 8 PM today. I call and after several attempts to get anyone to pick up a phone in the store I get someone in fitting and I get transferred back and fourth to another lady who hangs up on me on accident. Then I reach electronics she was writing my info down and the manager who was supposed to fix printer would call me in the Morning. No call. So I call and it's the typical scenario called a few times withing the hour to actually reach someone in the store. The store manager not available as has dealing with issue. So they tell me to talk to electronics to speak to manager there. I get through explain he says he sees no note with my info, and manager is on lunch. I get a call back stating it's going to take a few days to have a tech fix so I need to get a refund online. I am really frustrated with the level of customer service and the way business is conducted in this store. I love the fact that wally world has everything you need in one spot. Convenient. So I LOVE Wal-Mart. So sue me. This has to be the best one EVER.. Driving from San Francisco to Fresno is not fun, my highlight of each trip is passing through Los Banos to 1. get greasy mcdonalds, and 2. use the bathroom. Everything I ever wanted (and dont need) is in this store.. pajamas.. toe socks.. short shorts.. RAIDERS CLOTHES (def dont want those!!) and crunch 'n munch. The cheap prices, 5 dollar Daddy Yankee CD's, and "international foods" aisle have trapped me in for life. I also must say, it's the best diet ever. After loading up my arms with oreos, caramel popcorn, nacho cheese dip, cheetos, sodas, popcorn and chips.. I put them ALL back after i realized everyone shopping in their was severely obese in a wal-mart scooter loading their metal wire baskets with said items i just disposed of. THANKS Los Banos! I worked in many different types of jobs grocery stores food jobs etc. I understand this is during a pandemic we're human error happens, but the policy to me is wrong when the cashier makes a human error. We went to the returns, and they're telling us that how do you want your money to be refunded we say cash; then they say sorry we can't do that because you paid on credit card. Well then why did you ask us how you want it to be paid, just refund us on the credit card. Then fix the issue by paying you through the same card, or find another solution. We were expecting to be here for 15 minutes, maybe less because we have to get back on the road to get back to our part of California. And Walmart needs to fix their policy with that, to me that is ridiculous that we have to go through this when there should be easy ways program wise that could easily fix this problem. It was one item, that was a vegetable that we were weighing or should I say the cashier was weighing. How is that not easily transferable. I could be more understanding, if it was something like a video game mistake because all I have to do is say OK hold that game I will grab the right one can you pay me the difference? I bet you they could do that, so why can't it be something simple as a grocery item. Somethings got a modernize. By the way did we make it to the 15 or less, no we were there for about 20-30 minutes during a time when there's no lines or barely any. At least the only thing they've improved according to my parents who use the restroom in the front was remodeled, when the last time we were here it was dirty. At least with that I can give that a remedy of relief, but other than that this is still a ridiculous situation. My mom and I are usually always extremely happy with the service we get while shopping at this store EXCEPT if we have to deal with a certain customer service employee named, Beronica. From the tone of her voice to the nasty look that is plastered on her face to how she tries talk down to customers, is all unnecessary and complete BS! I don't think I have ever came across an employee as rude as she is! Anytime my mom or myself are at customer service, she does ANYTHING she can to turn us away instead of trying to be of assistance (like it says in her job description) or gives us a hard time. I've came to the conclusion that maybe she is just unhappy, doesn't like her job or maybe she's embarrassed to be working at Walmart, so she takes her anger out on the customers? I like this Walmart. We moved from Hollister and the closest Walmart we had there was in Gilroy. I hated that Walmart. It was always FILTHY. This Walmart is clean, the workers are super friendly. I would never use the bathrooms at the Walmart in Gilroy because they are repulsive, but these are clean. They take care of their store. We keep going back not only because it's close to our house, but because we always have positive interactions with the workers. I will re-voice the reviews of others and say the checking of the receipts can be bothersome when there's a lot of people, but I am sure it saves the store $. People are less likely to steal things of someone is checkin their cart. We have horrible people in this world. I will also say they need to have more registers open. Got my oil changed at Walmart yesterday and what a fiasco. Checked the oil level and it was not even up to the lower line on the dip stick. I always double check to make sure they fill it up and you're is no leaks. Went back to the tech with the dipstick in hand and he looked at it and told me "you need an oil change"! The so called new oil they put into the truck was super dirty. It makes me wonder if they even changed it????? I happened to look in the engine (V8) valley and it looked wet, upon further inspection there was black dirty oil sitting in the valley. (there is no oil lines or possible leak points on that part of the engine) In my mind I think how did that oil get there since I knew it was clean when I brought it in. The only way would be if they spilled when they filled it up with oil???Right? So the put used oil into my truck? Then I look at the oil filter and the paint is all faded on it.....from now on I'm going to etch the date onto each new filter. I am so frustrated. I spent 12 mins yesterday and 26 mins today on hold for the store manager. Finally today as I was on hold I drove to the store and was able to speak to one of the other managers who took me to the auto dept and they are going to fill up the truck. It's going to take some acceptance on my part because I feel they should have to change the entire oil on the truck. Going on a trip north Sunday and want the truck to be ok. I guess that's not going to happen. What a mess. Went back today and they refunded me the price of the quart of oils I had to put in. They topped off the oil and it finally was full to specifications. Not sure about the dirty oil or the oil in the valley but I am practicing acceptance. The wife and I took a drive to get out of town and ended up here. She loves shopping at Walmart stores. We loved how everything was nice and neatly in it's place and not on the floor like some of the other Walmart's we've been to. The isles were wide and roomy which we have never seen before. Ok, you've heard my rant about WalMart before. I've never been IN this WalMart, but it has this great big giant parking lot on the west end of Los Banos that makes a really good rest stop. There are a couple of fast food places in front so if you need to eat or pee, you can do so. If you are pulling a boat or driving a recreational vehicle (and I can hear all of you who know me laughing your heads off), there is lots of room to turn around. There is even a place to walk your dog (if you have one, which I don't). The city of Los Banos was kind enough to put a traffic light out front so you don't have to worry about being killed trying to get across Hwy 152. read more

On the package WalMart lists a website for Great Value questions, comments or feedback, at Walmart.com/greatvalue. That doesn't exist. It just takes you to the main Walmart website. There is no option for Great Value products, or Walmart support services. There is no actual way to contact Walmart not even an email address contact. They want my account number in order to ask any questions. I do not have nor do I want a Walmart account. I have a question/complaint re a product. There is no customer support, FAQ is essentially only for orders, and the 'contact us' option sends you to an automated chat, and requests your Walmart account to continue to get any answers to questions beyond the general questions that chat can't answer. read more
