I wanted a drink and to fill the tank with diesel. Yes, they actually had diesel. The price was reasonable. Going into the building, things were not dirty but not exactly clean, either. Compared to the Circle K in Los Baños that is near the skate park, this was great, though. The rest room, shared with Jack in the Box, was not dirty. The drink fountain was not dirty. Someone needed to tidy up. The cashier was friendly and efficient but she went outside to talk again as I was leaving, just as she had been when I entered.

I went to this location on 08/31/2026. The staff was friendly and assisted me with getting into…read moreshower four because the code wasn't working. Initially, the "occupied" sign was showing on the lock. The employee apologized and said they had just remodeled the showers and that the PIN should have worked. He didn't know why the lock reflected "occupied." I always request a handicap-accessible shower because I am a fall risk and need the rails to hold onto. However, this shower only had one rail under the knob. I had nothing to hold onto on the side of the shower. When I turned the shower on, the water immediately started flowing onto the main floor instead of staying on the shower floor. My shoes and bag immediately got wet, and the shower rug provided was soaked. Given that this was such a small shower, it felt like the whole bathroom was flooded. While I had the shower running, I noticed that the water pressure would decrease whenever a toilet was flushed, whether it was my neighbor's toilet or one of the public toilets. This was extremely frustrating and delayed my shower. I hope Love's is able to fix these issues. Until then, I'll be avoiding this location for showers.

The shop is nicely stocked with snacks, cold drinks, hot popcorn, hot dogs rolling about on the heated trays, and a bunch more. There is an adjoining I HOP. Next to the IHOP is a Popeyes. There are some electric chargers near the Popeyes. Not sure which brand they were. The gas pricing has a ok. Comparable to the multitude of other stations along in that area. The women's restroom is not great though. Older worn toilets and fixtures. No toilet seat covers. The majority of the interior toilet bowl enamel was chipped and worn making it look unclean. I entered several stalls thinking the toilets weren't cleaned (remnants) until I realized the attendant just cleaned them. Besides a restroom refresh, the TA could stand to refresh the parking lot space paint lines in the front lot. The lines are worn out and many drivers are driving straight through all willy nilly while cars are trying to park in the spaces. A bit chaotic.

I'd recommend bringing your own seat covers or wipes, and making sure you grab tissue before using the restroom just in case. Honestly, great place to grab snacks and drinks... but you may want to use the restroom somewhere else nearby instead.

They boast a well stocked fountain with three different diet soda options: Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, and Diet Pepsi. There are hot dogs and tornados (steak, egg, and cheese) rolling round and round on the rotisserie if you're in the mood for a hot and savory snack. They even carry my favorite snack treat, Takis. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. The customer in front of me was purchasing a large bag of sunflower seeds and the cashier asked him if he would like a spit bag for the shells? I would never have thought to ask and ended up with a bunch of messy shells to deal with. This Valero station is located just off I-5 in Santa Nella and has easy access both on and off the freeway.
