Bad service food came out cold and is way to over priced for the things we got DONT RECOMMEND

Okay so my family and I have gone there all the time maybe one Sunday a month, and it's always been good until these past few months, it's been terrible especially the last one. First off no one took our order for just drinks until 15 minutes later, then it took forever to receive our food and to top it off it was COLD. There were barely any waiters. We had a tough group and ordered the wrong thing, our server Patti I think her name was, helped fix it and had the manager adjust our bill, it's a busy location and so the service takes a bit longer but patty pushed out correction thru the kitchen fast, she had the whole thing remade when she could have just added hash browns and took off one of the French toasts. They had good food but bad service I ordered the super bird and my friend ordered the super bird too so we got 2 sodas and it took 10 minutes it took 20 minutes for one super bird and Other 20 minutes for one so I decided to leave never going back there read more

This location is terrible I'm being generous with one star! The service was at a snails pace even though there was maybe 25 people at the most. The food was cold, I ordered a avocado bacon cheeseburger and got at best 10 fries. The bun was chewy and cold, refills were non existent, and the check took forever. Other customers were just as dissatisfied as we were. For being across from CSUF the service was seriously lacking. If I could give a negative star I would. read more

I've been coming to this Denny's on and off for just over a year now, mostly after midnight, and I can say that the workers at this location have some of the best customer service I've had at a Denny's. The servers always have smile on their face, running back and forth to every table, and super consistent with everything. Best Denny's! Eat local! read more

This place is quick to respond to taking your orders, but that's it. I usually judge a restaurant by how much they refill waters. I haven't' thirteen a refill the whole time. read more

Well this Denny's used to be good a year ago. I used to love the service and the food. Now I feel it has come down a little. And the service too is not like it used to be. Coffee mugs were dirty and coffee was flat and we had to ask them to brew a fresh pot. Also it takes a long time for orders to be placed even when few tables are being served. Such horrible experience this morning! So I ordered online to pick up within 20min so I ordered at 8:44. Got there at 9:00 which they told me your order isn't suppose to be ready until 9:04...I got my order until 9:22Am that 40 min!! They weren't even busy, that is insane!! Such bad customer service!! Food is good, but kids eat free on Saturday nights. Service was good, of course, they aren't very busy so its easy to get a table.

The worst dennys I have ever been to, the staff is very non-proactive. The manager just walks around and stares at the customers, he doesn't greet anyone, or asks how everything was, when he rings you up. Very unprofessional person that does not contain the proper communication skills a good manager should have. read more

So my five stars cancels out Sam's one star. He uses the F word 4 times in two sentences I don't use it at all. I'll give you real information instead of hot air. I like to revisit places that offer good food. This was not the case. My meal was cold to lukewarm and I was waiting for it to go. It took 10-15 minutes just to receive my meal. I think I'll just keep looking out for a better Dennys. The hash brown was sad. read more

It's not bad. I generally prefer places like this. You can stay here for up to one hour or more, and take your time to eat. Other places seem to encourage you to eat and go very quickly. It's a place for people to relax and not be so uptight. The food takes longer than places like Chipotle, Burger King, but you can tell the food has been cooked to order. The menu does not consist of elaborate dishes, but rather plain and simple ones. The eggs, ham, hashbrowns, pan cakes, oatmeals, etc, are what consist of Denny's menu. You don't have to spend more than 10 dollars each time you visit. You can just order "side dishes" and a drink, or order "Build your own Grand Slam" and water. One thing I will say is that drinks are a bit pricier than other places. The good thing is that you don't have to wait to be seated. Make sure to tip fairly. read more

The stars are for friendly service and a clean restaurant. I was disappointed in the Philly cheesesteak skillet I ordered. Looked nothing like the commercial I saw last night advertising it! Or the menu at the restaurant. The portion barely filled the plate, the 4 small pieces of steak was over cooked ( as well as the bell peppers & onions ) and a third of the skillet was a clump of melted cheese, not on the potatoes, just taking up room on the skillet. I was disappointed, however I will give it one more try at a later date to see if it was a cook failure. Friendly and attentive service though. read more

Its an okay place next to CSUF. Its good for when its 10 am and you want breakfast. Its busy in the mornings, afternoons, and sometimes evenings. Once or twice they have mixed up my side orders but the food is pretty okay. Its very convenient if you live near CSUF. read more

My 2nd visit here will be the last! My 1st visit about 6 months ago was passable but I decided to give it a try once more. Our waitress seemed well intentioned but she kept getting our orders wrong as she wrote them down way too fast. The diner was maybe 1/2 full but we got some food about 35 minutes...except the waitress brought the wrong order...she came back 10 min later with cold and very greasy eggs and bacon and had to come back at least 3 times with bits and pieces because we had to remind her (1 order of pancakes, and then the other order of pancakes and then the toast...). Aside from maybe the hash browns and the regular pancakes, everything else was swimming in greasy butter. The bottom of my wheat pancakes was stuck to the plate... maybe it was a bad day for this place but I am not going back! read more

Good value for the $$. I was looking for a light late dinner. I had the prime rib Cobb with an Arnold Palmer. Service was faster than I was.

Eggs were raw, food Luke warm, burnt toast. Had to emergency download in the bathroom afterwards. Not good!!

Terrible, terrible customer service. Was seated in the booth and then asked what we wanted to drink, then 5 minutes later our sodas were slammed on the table. The waiter then proceeded to walk away and did not ever return. We must have waited at least 30 minutes and our orders weren't even taken. The problem is; this wasn't the first time this has happened. Almost every time we come here, it is the same thing. And there were only 6 other tables being served at the time. I came in for breakfast, the food wasn't bad but the service was terrible. When we tried to pay, their computer system was down and we waited about 15 minutes while the Manager (who barely spoke to us or other customers waiting for their to go order) stood there staring at the loading computer. He was not being very communicative of why it was taking so long, then after the wait he finally told us he could swipe our card the old fashioned way. Not going back to this location. read more

My wife and I went to Denny's at 2920 Nutwood Ave in Fullerton, CA yesterday for some of Denny's Banana Bread, but this location didn't serve it. I instead got a T-Bone/Fried Shrimp plate, which was very good and my wife had a Philly Prime Melt plate, which she really enjoyed also. The chef here did a really great job with getting it correct the first time. For me, one thing really stood out at this location. It was a server named Joshua O. He delivered TOP QUALITY service and was very attentive in making sure his customers had everything they needed to enjoy their meals to the fullest. My wife and I both had a very enjoyable visit to this Denny's and will return in the future. read more
