I came to this location a couple times now and for some reason, the service is always so slow. I feel like they only have one server every time. There's not even a host to check us and get us a table. We usually always wait around 15-20 mins to get seated even though it's at night past 9 pm. They messed up one of our orders and give us regular pancakes when we ordered mint ice cream, chocolate, pancakes. They didn't even give us our utensils when the food came out until we asked. They only come by to refill our waters once. The only time they are fast is when we go up to the front to pay for our check. read more

The service was great this time. We got sat very quick. We like to come here to have some coffee and some sweets to chat and chat. They are open 24 hrs. So when my friends and I come we are not afraid to get thrown out because they need to closed. We like to really talk for a long time. So we always get coffee and the donut holes. I walked in and Sandra was very nice, she welcomed us and got us seated quickly. Our sever Valerie walked up a few minutes later and the first thing she says is what can I get you to drink instead of introducing herself or welcoming us. She then asked if we were ready to order and we said we would like a couple for minutes. 5-10 minutes go by and still no drinks at our table. Sandra walks by and asks if we have been helped yet to which we replied "yes but no drinks have arrived". Sandra went and brought us our drinks herself even though she was already on her way out to go home. Time passed and our server finally comes to take our order. Our food came out and it was wrong I asked her for shell eggs scrambled hard and she brought me the wrong eggs. When I asked her to fix it she tried to make it seem like if I had ordered wrong. She proceeds to tell me you said eggs scrambled hard to which I told her yes correct but these are not shell eggs. One of the guys from the kitchen who was very nice came out twice to make sure our food would be corrected correctly. The same cook came and brought us out our food. After that the server never came back to check up on us or bring us the ranch and butter we had asked for. We were ready to pay and she was sitting down in a corner. We came in around 3:40 PM and, by the time we escaped at almost 5 PM, we still hadn't seen a single plate of food. Not even a lonely hash brown wandered our way. Day was slow and QUIET. A family of EIGHT sat down after us and got their food first. I guess the kitchen was doing side quests. Our server was friendly enough, maybe he was trying to be the next Dave Chapelle with the way he was making jokes with the kitchen but apparently our order entered the Witness Protection Program because nobody could find it for over an hour. We only got water, which I guess pairs nicely with disappointment. Eventually we gave up and left. Honestly, we're still not sure if the food was coming or if the cooks were trying to unlock a secret achievement by ignoring us. So I gave the manager and the waiter a goodbye wave. If you want an adventure in patience, come here. If you want actual food... maybe try literally anywhere else. Served me burned omelette that was darker then a raccoons shit ( raccoon shit is black). The Waitress and waiters are nice but you see them about a century later after ordering, so don't finish your coffee fast. Not that the restaurant was full, but the servers were hiding in the back and kept peeking in the front but wouldn't come? Then we finally get seated and no one comes to ask us for drinks for almost 20 mins. Someone comes and gets seated next to us after we were seated and got their drinks before anyone even came to greet us. We walked right out. Three STRIKES and this Denny's is OUT. Came here on Saturday morning for breakfast and the service was terrible. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam. Price has went up and portions have reduced by at least 20%. My pancakes along with my wife's did not show up until we were done with our meal. Seemed to be an issue at other tables also...(wondering did they actually run out of pancake mix?). Waitress refilled our iced tea once...wife had to go to hostess stand to ask for boxes...server never brought check...after AARP discount still $39.16 for two...no more Denny's. Yk, i'm 90% sure hell is just a biblically accurate Denny's. When you walk in, you'll see more than enough empty tables/booths, and you'll STILL have to wait 10-15 mins to be seated. They give you a table (from my experience it's always the table near the bathroom), and then leave for 20 mins to let you settle in your table. That's gotta be what they're doing, cause it doesn't take that long to ask "what would you like to drink?" The cleanliness is definitely questionable, as all the silverware i receive isn't completely clean or has left water spots (an inconvenience to the rest of the family, not me) and as a result they send someone to sweep while you're still eating. Speaking of the food, usually its wrong, under or overcooked, or missing a key part of the meal (how does this even happen??) A earlier review claimed that people expect too much from the establishment. No sir, you expect too little from a multi-billion dollar enterprise. People shouldn't have to practically beg for a drink, or cooked food. It's literally the service, and this denny's fails to provide it. read more

The only downside is the atmosphere: the bathroom and seating area definitely feel outdated and could use some attention. Okay, I will NEVER be eating here again unless I see a tent over this place and a line of delivery trucks outside after a week of being fumigated. I went here one morning to get coffee and I had my son with me so we decided to get breakfast as well. As the waitress brought our food out, I asked her if she had a booster seat for my son. Dennys needs to have better quality control amongst its restaurants. Yesterday I had the turkey dinner on Jensen/99 at 8 am and there was no issue, today I try having the same thing on Clovis /Kings Canyon and they don't sever mash potatoes until after 11am yet they are promoting that dinner because it's close to thanksgiving. Terrible customer service on top of everything else. Hostess had us waiting instead of seating us because she was messing with menus. Bad bad experience. read more

We had a table of four people. Each of us had modifications made to our order so I was a bit confused on why the waitress taking our order wasn't writing anything down. She noticed our concern, paused, and told us not to worry that's she's been working at Denny's for years. But then proceeds to mess up on our orders. She had to go back about 3 times but every time we called her over to explain what was wrong, she'd say "got it" and turn around and leave before we can even tell her what else we had needed. We wanted refills and water but she never came back to check on us to see how we were doing or if we needed anything else. I also saw that she was working about 4 other tables so I don't want to put the fault completely on her but if you know you're waiting that many tables with that many people, just write our order down. Just so we feel comfortable and confident that she'll get our order right. Not to mention she also spilled some lemonade on my friend because she was running back and forth all out of breath and can barely keep her hands still. For coming in at 3am and with a group of about 6, they accommodated us exceptionally. The hostess was extremely nice and patient to our half drunk group who had just came from the club. I am very unhappy with the food and service mine and my girlfriend's food were burnt the fries were burnt and tasted like old oil. Not to mention my view the whole time was two employees flirting and because of that the girl took forever to bring the food and never brought us our check. I had to go up to her and ask for it.
