My husband and I stopped by on our way to Yosemite to grab lunch and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would. From the quality of food to the quality of service, it was all top notch. We first walked in and were told they were cleaning up a table for us. We were brought to our seats very quickly and met with our server, Leta. Leta was very attentive and made sure we had everything needed at all times. She checked in on us a few times to make sure we were happy but wasn't too overbearing. We ordered the Mississippi and Tom's breakfast scramble, which were both hearty, flavorful, and delicious. They were super filling, and even though it was a bit pricey, the portions were huge. I also got a blueberry muffin on the side that is one of the best I've ever tasted. I think it was a pound cake muffin based on flavor and consistency. We both had leftovers for another breakfast to take home. Adding to the leftovers, Leta was very kind and asked if we wanted to take our drinks to go as well and topped us off, which was super kind. On top of that, I think it may have been the manager that walked around and checked on a few tables, including ours, to see how our experience was. I was blown away with how attentive, courteous, and giving Huckleberry's was! We were given some coupons for our next visit, but that wouldn't be the only reason we'd want to come back. Ordered the CFS and eggs through door dash. CFS and the gravy yum Over medium eggs were over easy Hash browns good Sour dough toast fail; bread was tiny pieces and wasn't even fully buttered. They threw on a little butter in the center and that was it. I had to rebutter it at home. Side of bacon fail. Charging $8+ for a side of bacon is one thing. Bacon slices were so small and so thin I could see through them. This isnt a Denny's after all. Your food cost more, your quality of food should match what you're charging. My husband and I have visited another Huckleberry location before and had a good experience, so we decided to try this one since it's closer to our house. When we arrived, I noticed one staff member putting away menus at the front. Nearby, another staff member was eating, and two others were sitting in the same area putting utensils into bags. A fourth staff member walked right past us toward the back. No one acknowledged us at all. I even wondered if we were supposed to seat ourselves, but still, no one paid attention to us. I started thinking we should just leave. While we were waiting, another family entered the restaurant, so a line began to form. Someone who was there to pick up an order moved to the front, and a young woman came out asking if he was there for pickup--still without acknowledging us. After she helped the person picking up the order, she finally asked how many people were in our party and seated us. She didn't ask if we preferred a booth or a table and led us straight to a table. I asked if we could have a booth, but she told us we'd have to wait 10 minutes. Frustrated, my husband said the table was fine. The food itself was fine, and the same woman who hadn't acknowledged us earlier turned out to be our waitress. Once we were seated, she was nice and friendly. However, I won't be returning until the staff is retrained to acknowledge customers when they arrive. It made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable being there. read more

Enjoyed a meal here with four of us in the group on a Sunday afternoon. For an appetizer, beingnets were a hit at our table...and with kids, & not knowing if they'd love all the sauces, the restaurant was kind enough to put them in separate containers. They were beautiful, flavorful, and perfect texture with powdered sugar sprinkled too! I ordered a basic eggs, potatoes, and toast meal. I opted for adding in the bell peppers and onions to the potatoes...totally worth it! Family was all pleased with their food too. The booth we got was very comfortable, and by a window. It's good to know, they have booths that seat 4, and some booths that seat 6, which are frankly super roomy and great for a family! Decor is simple and cute throughout the restaurant- Bayou, Gators, Wooden Signs...great feel all around. Though it was in the last hour the restaurant was open for the day, we were still seated and enjoyed a great meal- but it could definitely have earned that final star if 1) we did not have to flag down & ask additional servers for drinks and refills, 2), ask for someone to replace the empty paper towel dispenser at our table, and 3) there was a clearing out of our finished dishes/cups/silverware at least once during the meal. All that being said though, the actual meal was fantastic, everything we ordered was correct, and everything did eventually get delivered, replaced, and we were very content with our meal. So, in a nutshell, as soon as we did get someone's attention, all needs were promptly addressed. Anticipating and being aware of customer needs though- totally is what lends itself to that fifth star. Looking forward to coming back again, and perhaps we'll try a different time of day. read more

First time ever at a Huckleberry's. Went on a Friday morning with my parents with a 10 min wait. This location is quit busy because it's right next to Costco. Looking at the menu, this really wouldn't be my first choice for breakfast. I prefer mom and pop breakfast spots over franchise. The menu choices seem pretty average but I do like that they have fried green tomatoes on some plates. I got a hot Carmel macchiato that was not very impressive. It didn't taste sweet at all and halfway through the cup, I found out why. All the sugar syrup was sitting at the bottom of the cup. It was not stirred/mixed at all. Not worth $5. They should really only charge half the price. It's not made by a Starbucks barista. My main course was The California with hashbrowns which was eggs Benedict over fried green tomatoes. The meal was okay. It was not hot and barely warm. My dish was also the last one to be served so I was quite shocked it wasn't hot. But it didn't warrant a complaint to the cooks. Definitely would have enjoyed it more if it was hotter. Not sure if I would come back to this franchise. It just didn't capture my interest. read more

Would not recommend. Only saw our server the one time they took our order. They had a young man bring us our food and they forgot our toast, we asked him for it and he said he'd grab it. We never saw him again. Never got any refills in the tiny water cups they provide and when I had let them know they forgot some of our food, they just said "okay". I'm not one to complain because I've worked the food industry myself, but even when it's busy, to not provide decent service is disappointing. I come here at least once a month to enjoy a great breakfast or brunch. I enjoy the chicken and waffle sandwich they have and can never get enough of it. Then I enjoy that with either the peach or swamp tea and it just comes out so good. The service is decent they are usually busy so it's expected to wait a little to get seated. My grand niece had a birthday party held at M & M Indoor Playground. I couldn't believe the huge spread and variety of foods laid out on the buffet tables! It was like being at a mini breakfast buffet! There were all kinds of pastries, beignets, breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, pancakes, chicken strips, homestyle potatoes, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, an assortment of juices and other beverages. Condiments were available on the table so everyone could design their dish the way they like it! Today I had to make sure I bought my cat Milo his food, he was running on empty and he uses a special brand that the vet sells. So while I waited for Armstrong Pet hospital to open I decided to treat myself to breakfast, I've been to the older location not this one, it was nice and quiet, they tend to get busier after 9am that's what the owner said, service was great and the food super flavorful, next time i would order toast to balance out my meal, the biscuits and gravy was a bit much lol. The servings are huge!!! They had lots of good options on the menu so I shall be coming back soon. Definitely stop in for a treat. read more

Nothing seems to have changed since I was last here. Mediocre chain style breakfast type of place. Eggs were cooked exactly as I asked for. Kudos for that, thank you. Hash browns are about 30 seconds from being raw. Absolutely no seasoning. Biscuit was average. Gravy was not memorable. read more

Let's start with good. Our server Shelbi was amazing. We were a party of nine; she handled the big order impeccably. The fried green tomatoes were top-notch, some of the best I've ever had. The pancakes, beignets, and coffee, all good to excellent. Now for the not-so-good. The celery in Patty's Bloody Mary (otherwise excellent) was wilted...very unappealing. The preparer could have simply cut off the wilted leaves to make it look more appetizing (see picture). Patty's side of scrambled eggs were cold. The English muffin in my California benedict wasn't toasted. The Hollandaise sauce, said to say, was subpar. Tasteless. Jarred Hollandaise sauce is superior to this muck. Let's get positive again. I ordered the Tom's Scramble With Bayou Reds: Chicken Fried Steak with Bayou Reds. My husband ordered Spiced Pumpkin Pie Pancakes: Sausage, Over easy eggs, Bayou reds with onions and side of bacon. The food came out warm. I was expecting it to be a little more on the hotter side. It's a lot of food and I would be taking some home! My friend and I came here for brekkie this morning because we heard a lot of murmuring about how yummy this spot was from a bunch of our coworkers. Huckleberry"s is a Cajun-styled breakfast and brunch spot located in Clovis right across from Costco with a huge parking lot! luckily we got there early enough because when we left around 9am, the line was out the door and around the corner! We had ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer with a couple of huckleberry mimosas which were very refreshing (definitely a must-try)! Since I eat a pescatarian/vegetarian diet, there aren't many options on their menu so Our server Humberto, suggested the eggs Benedict (without the eggs) for my main meal, I didn't truly care for it so I just stuck with my hotcakes. My friend had the catfish with grits and half a waffle(yea you can do that here) her grits were very dry and clumpy, but that catfish....PERFECTION!!! I would have to say the service was not good at all it took at least 15 minutes just to get our drinks. And every time we asked for something our waitress just wasn't on top of it. Decent breakfast place. Been driving passed this place and finally get to try it. Came on a Saturday morning with family and the wait was 20 minutes, which is not too bad. We ordered beignets, cajun omelets, and cajun benedict. The Cajun omelets came with either biscuit, muffin, or toast. We requested our hash brown to be extra crispy. The omelet was okay. It was lacking flavors and pretty band. The hash brown was not as crispy. The biscuit was yummy. Since I didn't try the benedict, I am not sure how it turned out.
