Only 1 employee at night even though it's constantly way too busy to even come close to accommodating. This is a regular problem and they still only have 1 staff member literally trying to do everything along with the 1 cook working. I ordered online, waited until 20 minutes after the app said it would be ready, went inside to discover about 10 food delivery workers waiting for their orders, and most had been waiting for over an hour. The 1 employee was trying to cash out people's Checks, get orders from the kitchen organized and bagged up, take orders, and address each customer that came in. My order was so far behind all other orders, it hadn't even been seen or touched, and wouldn't be for at least 2 hours. I didn't find that out until I waited for about 45 minutes hoping she'd call out my name only to finally ask the obviously flustered and overwhelmed employee about my order, at which point she had to try to find because it was so far behind everything, and When it was found I was told it would be at least 2 hours before they could get to it, this was 2 hours after i ordered online too. 4 hours for 1 order of eggs Benedict should not be acceptable to a franchise that's business is fast breakfast! read more

Very disappointing visit to this location. We arrived at noon for lunch. The staff at the front door said it would be a little while before we could be seated. I looked around and counted only nine tables of guests. Not too busy, why the wait? After about 10 minutes we finally got a table, just so we could wait even longer for our server. She advised me they were out of ice tea.??? After a total of 20 plus minutes we finally got our food. It was about average quality for a diner. How do you get the pancakes here so light, fluffy, buttery and perfect everytime? I really want to know the tecnique because when I try and make pancakes at home they turn out lousy, burned, heavy, and similar to hockey pucks. This Dennys and Frans Cafe over in Wheat Ridge have the most fantastic pancakes in the metro area. Sometimes exciting and new is not the way to go in Denver. And the coffee has the best flavor, this Dennys brews it more on the strong side and I drink 2-3 cups each time, something I never do anywhere else. read more

The last three times I've been to this location Raymond has made us feel unwelcomed! He makes you feel like you have to rush for everything you do! Not to mention the way he talks to the guests! Terrible service. Ridiculously slow considering there were 3 other tables at the time. I received a warm watered down OJ so after taking a sip, I asked for a water instead. Then he just let us sit there because he sat us in a section of another waiter who was on a break & had no idea until he came back that we were there. That waiter, David, was extraordinary. He was quick, efficient, & very kind. On the other hand, we watched the first waiter be very rude to another customer & do little more than walk around trying to look busy. This was the best dining experience I've ever had at Denny's! Our server Maria was on top of it! Let's start from the beginning we walked in to a busy restaurant on a snowy Sunday morning we were greeted with a charming young man who informed us he was on a brief wait but would be able to get us seated momentarily. Another gentlemen who looked like the manager was also very kind and hospitable. He was directing the staff and multitasking all while keeping a smile. Once seated our sever Maria come over very quickly and had all the answers to our questions with out hesitations. She was very attentive to small details, bringing over straws for our soda and creamers for the coffee. Once ordered the food came out in a timely manner all to how we ordered. She checked in on us a good amount of times always tending to our needs. I will definitely be back! And when you come in ask for Maria she was amazing! Excellent team! Great job!! read more

I know, it's just Denny's. Grand slams, eggs and burgers, diner fare on a budget and we all know what to expect. The difference here is that as a semi regular lunch customer while working nearby I have gotten consistently good service and good consistent food always well prepared. We waited for more than an hour and then we complained to the manager who told us that it was not a fault on their part as they would serve to the bigger table first. This review is by no means a review of the Denny's chain in general, which I happen to like. It is about this particular location. I came here for a lunch meeting on a Friday - we got our table at 11:00a and put our order in not five minutes later. Guess when we got our food? 11:46a. It took 46 minutes to make an omelette and two sandwich entrees, which is all we ordered. I'm actually shocked that the food was still warm when it got to us, though that means they just didn't bother making our food until long after we had ordered. Our waiter seemed attentive when we ordered - one of my coworkers put in a somewhat complicated order that came out exactly as she ordered, though I don't think that would be the reason for the hold-up in the food coming out. We also had to ask him to refill a water cup, which he came out and did - but only that one cup. There were two half-empty cups sitting on the table that were ignored. Granted, I didn't need a refill right then, but I would think it's courteous to at least offer if you see that the cups aren't completely full. I'm not at all impressed with this location.
